Amazing private tour from Moses through Cairo!

We had an incredible trip in Cairo with Moses as our personal tour guide! You couldn’t ask for a better guide! Amr Moses has an incredible understanding of the history & manages to layout a foundation for travelers to follow & appreciate. You truly cannot explain unless you’ve been to Egypt how much there is to see, experience & be amazed!!!! Moses was kind, patient with the group & ensured we each had a wonderful trip. He anticipated our needs each day & adjustments were made as things came up to make sure!!! I couldn’t recommend a better guide & private tour is the only way to go. You would be lost without Moses!!! We requested him for our second part of trip, back in Cairo & fortunately the tour company arranged! He truly made the trip!!! Ask for Moses!!!!

Tour was not bad but tour guide needs improvement

The company was very responsive in queries and made adjustments according to our request in terms of pick-up and drop-off etc. Thumbs up!! The tour itself was not bad; but visiting such a culture- and history-rich attractions, you expect the tour guide to be more fluent in English and be able to provide more details, which was under my expectations. Our tour guide was more like to complete the itinerary rather than accomondating. In addition, there was some hinds in shopping although you may get away from visiting all the pre-planned shops by indicating it to the tour guide, after all it was meant to be a private tour. Transportation and food was up to standard.

Superb Service

I am writing this review to give thanks to Emo tours . We always communicate with Mr. Mai through email provided in their website.. What we expected we get more from them. The service we got from EMO Tours was Awesome. We have booked 2 days Cairo Guided private tour + 1 day Alexandria tour + 1 day Luxor tour. We are so happy with the on time service with guide . Special thanks to Mr, Mehmood , Alexandria. He is very knowledgeable person. He explained so well. Thank you for your service which makes our trip memorable and I recommend Emo tours to everyone.

2 perfect days in Cairo

Yes you will have to tip all day long (everyone does it: the tourists, but the locals too, so plan for a lot of 10 bills), yes you may be dropped at shops that were not planned in the program (but this helps discover local craft and meet new people, you don’t have to buy, just be curious and give a little tip), and yes you will have to pay with your card and get cash back from the guide at all attractions. Once you have that in mind, and see that it is the case for ALL tours, you will have a blast! My guide Amal and my driver Amro were extremely nice, very knowledgeable and open. I felt safe (while driving in Cairo is crazy), and welcomed. They found restaurants with a pyramid view, which wasn’t originally planned, they kindly offered me water, sweets, coffee and dates, and they paid some tips so I wouldn’t have to take the stairs or wait in a queue. And in a private tour, it is a good opportunity to spend quality time with locals. Concerning the attractions, we covered everything which was described. But not more. If you want to visit the inside of a pyramid, beware that you are looking at 80m of tiny tunnels (you can’t stand, and some tall people had to crawl!) in the heat with little air (don’t be claustrophobic, and bring water with you). Dashur is harder than Kheops. The « old » Cairo museum is still super worth it, even if some pieces have been moved to the not opened yet new Grand museum. So net, i recommend this tour, I was dreaming about visiting Egypt, and those 2 days in Cairo were perfect :)

Awesome private day tours

We booked 2 tours 2 days in a row with Emo Tours Egypt, and we had an awesome time! The tour operator ensured everything was seamless with booking and followed up with us after the tours to make sure we were happy. We booked the Cairo private city tour the first day and the private pyramids tour the second day. We were lucky enough to get Mahmoud as our guide and Hamada as our driver both days. They made everything incredibly fun and easy. We saw so many amazing sites, learned so much, and Mahmoud took lots of really awesome pictures for us that we are super grateful for. You won’t regret booking through this company. If we could give higher than 5 stars we would!

Maximize your 2 days in Cairo with this private tour.

Perfect tour and guide for making the most of 2 days in Cairo! Just what I was looking for in this tour. Private car with excellent driver, experienced and knowledgeable Egyptologist, Mohamed Moussa. Super friendly, flexible and so knowledgeable. I learned so much!! Definitely ask for M. Moussa! 1st day 4 major sights: Giza pyramids and Sphinx, camel ride, Saqqara step-pyramids and tombs, Memfis archaeological sites. 2nd day 4 sights: Egyptian Museum, Citadel and Mosque. Plus time for shopping perfumes and oils, handmade carpets, cotton goods. Lunch and refreshments provided.

Great Private Tour

We had a wonderful time touring Cairo at the end of our two week trip to Egypt with our private guide Sayed Mahmoud from Emo Tours. We spent one day at the Cairo Museum and attending the Al Tannoura Dance performance. Second day was spent visiting Islamic and Coptic Cairo as well as shopping in the souks. Being able to customize our time was wonderful. Having a knowledgeable and passionate guide was the only way to understand what we were looking at. And, Sayed even negotiated prices for us in the market so we weren’t hassled by all the vendors. Our driver negotiated the crazy Cairo traffic with grace and ease.

Great customer service!

I visited Egypt in December 2022 and most of my trip was organized through Emo Tours. I wanted to specifically call out Menna Galal who handled all my questions and requests as I was planning the trip. She was so responsive, helpful, and caring as she provided suggestions and guidance. She was always available, sometimes very late at night and super early in the morning! Does she even sleep?! When we were in Egypt, she checked in constantly to make sure everything was OK and made adjustments if we wanted to add or change something. I feel like I made a friend in Egypt because she was just wonderful. If you travel with Emo, I hope you get a chance to work with Menna Galal. She is the best!

Cairo trip with 9 and 5 yo

Great itinerary through Emo Tours. They have the local knowledge to give best advice on when to see the various sights. Really enjoyed the Egyptian museum and Faluka boat ride today. Mamdouh Kamal is a very friendly and knowledgeable local guide. We learned a lot from him about the incredible layers of history in this region. Our driver Hamdy Ibrahim was very patient and we felt very safe with him behind the wheel navigating these crazy streets!

Esraa is the best!

Esraa is an amazing guide. Very informative and attentive. I had a million questions and she was happy to answer them all. She knows her stuff! Book the tour and ask for Esraa.

Great trip to Luxor

Excellent service. Transportation service was punctual and comfortable inside. The driver, Alaa, was very good. The tour guide, Shereen, was excellent, very friendly and very knowledgeable.

Great Cairo day tour

Amazing tour! Both Sayed Mahmoud ( tour guide) and Mohamadd Basha (Driver) were so helpful, patient and warm. They made our day tour very memorable. Mr. Sayed shared so many useful information about different places that we visited today, he took many photos of us patiently and even invited us for coffee/tea after the day. Mr. Sayed speaks English very well and so easy to communicate with. My husband and I couldn’t have asked for any better service or guidance.

Our driver Abdou and tour guide Sayed Mahmoud we're no less than excellent in making sure our trip to Cairo was special. We did everything from shopping, to atv riding, to seeing the pyramids. Sayed was extremely knowledgeable and made out decision making so much easier. If you're deciding on who to go with for a tour for a great price, definitely go with emo tours.

Cairo private day tour to Egyptian museum, citadel and khan khalili bazaar

Our driver was Khaled. He was very timely in picking and dropping us off at each location. Even though he was hired only as our driver and not tour guide, he still provided us with some history as we drove around and answered all our questions. He was actually our driver for two other excursions!! His vehicle was always clean, offered us water bottles, and made sure we left with everything we came with. Very pleased with his customer service! Highly recommend Khaled

Fun in Cairo

We hired EMO to fill in two days we had before our group tour started. They were happy to customize our tour so we did not overlap with our group tour. The vehicle was very clean and comfortable, always with fresh water. The driver always helpful with the door and prompt to pick us up when we completed an activity. Our guide Noha (sp?), was very knowledgeable and spoke clearly. Checked often to make sure we were seeing the things we wanted and we were happy with the experience. The lunches she arranged were very tasty. Noha also took us to a couple of shops when we told her that we wanted to purchase certain items. But there was never any pressure and comparing our purchases to other places we saw later we feel we got good value. She also gave us some good photo tips. Our tours were of Memphis, Sakkara and Dahshur, the Citidal and Coptic Cairo. There were four of us.

A 3-Day FABULOUS Adventure!!

Private Tour A MUST (Sayed Mahmoud)

Sayed Mahmoud was amazing for the Giza, Pyramids and Sphinx tour. He went above and beyond to talk about the history and made sure I understood everything. He made me feel comfortable and special. He really took care of me. We walk around town and had some amazing food. He treated me like family. When I come back I will do any tour with Sayed. I will recommend to any of my friends visiting Egypt. He is definitely the best! Thank you Sayed!

Ola and Beter were amazing guides on our two tours to the pyramids and museums in Cairo. Ola was full of knowledge on the ancient Egyptian history and answered all of our questions. Ola was also amazing at taking our photos especially of our proposal at the Pyramids! Would highly recommend them for your time in Cairo!

Great Experience and a great Guide!

We took 2 days Cairo guided tour and our guide Hossam was an excellent person to have around. He not only was helpful in every thing from getting tickets to buying stuff. And we felt very safe with him being around. He was a walking encyclopedia and had great knowledge of every thing that we asked him. We really had good fun. Experience of a life time. Highly recommend Hossam and this tour company.

Amazing private tour

Our guide was Ahmed Nasr and he accompanied us to the pyramids, sphinx, museums, mosque and Alexandria. He was friendly, kind and accommodating to all our requests. He picked up on the small things, for example, on day 1, he remembered my interest in getting a personalised cartouche and later on our tour, he took us to a local shop (with local prices) so I could get some made. He was always upfront about extra costs for optional activities and helped us with the tipping etiquette in Egypt while we were at the tourist sites. We noticed he adapted his tour style based on us and our interests. He also gave us his number to call/message in case we needed anything on our free days. Ahmed was very informative and knowledgeable about Egyptian history. In addition to this, he offered us personal insight into Egyptian culture and religion. I would highly recommend Ahmed to all my friends and family when they visit Egypt.

BEST EXPERIENCE: Best two day visit to Cairo - Best tour guide Ahmed Nasr

I was there in Cairo for two days and had my best experience ever with the help of this company. Earlier I was skeptical about which tour company to take as there are a lot of options but they offered me a good package for two days including travel in AC car, very knowledgeable tour guide, food. One of the important people was my tour guide, Ahmed Nasr. He is the extremely knowledgeable guy who explains everything so clearly that you will love Egypt. Also, he will take care of all your needs for two days like favorite food, restaurant, market, shopping, tipping, etc. I would recommend this company and especially Ahmed to anyone who is traveling to Egypt. He also knows people at different locations who are experts in taking wonderful photos.

TWO DAYS TOUR OF CAIRO

Mimo our guide in Spanish for two days, he is an expert Egyptologist, he helped us in a short time understand the greatness and majesty of historical and modern Egypt, in addition to feeling protected by it as tourists, he told us a lot of detail about the daily life of that pious people.
