Best scenic flight!

Amazing experience from start to finish. Joey our pilot made the trip so much fun and educational at the same time! Would absolutely do it again!

Fantastic

A slight hiccup with our booking meant that our plane had been overbooked. Daintree Air Services looked after us very well by sending us on a private flight. So we went with pilots Jessie and Thomas on a 40 minute flight over the reef. Amazing views over Green Island and different sections on the reef. Interesting and informative. Would highly recommend doing this flight. Fantastic service.

It was an amazing experience! My parents loved it. I would do it again. The view was really pretty. Worth the money for a 40 minute aerial view.

Fun and exciting!

Taking off and landing were exhilarating! The endless views of the Reef and Cays were gorgeous. The pilot and whole staff were friendly and gave great instructions.

Awesome views, great fun to fly, pilot (Joey) was very funny and friendly, very supportive of my mum who got motion sick. Learned lots about the reef and saw some amazing views, loved it.

Great overview of the Great Barrier Reef

I wanted to get an overview of the Great Barrier Reef, and Daintree Air came through. I learned a lot about the reef and cays while taking in wonderful views. And the pilot and staff were very friendly and helpful.

It is not 1h!

The view is so nice but It is so expensive and it says it takes 1h and it is not, it was about 40min. So I was expecting more time

No time to waiste, brilliant experience

After areiving at Cairns on a Cruise ship in thw morning and with a connecting flight that afternoon, time was very limited - this was a great way to see the magnificent Barrier Reef. The Pilot was extremely skilled, knowledgeable and engaging with the guests to deliver a memorable and thoroughly enjoyable experience.

Great Experience!

The crew was wonderful!! The experience was great!! Unfortunately, an overcast day, but that didn’t stop most of the snorkelers from jumping in the water. It was warm water and a bit rough. The water was murky. If I were 20-30 years younger (79), I think I would have enjoyed it more. Book on a sunny day.

Just wanted to say thank you for such a lovely experience with Daintree air services 😊 The scenic flight was absolutely beautiful and a big thank you to our pilot Joey who was informative and funny. My mum usually gets motion sickness but she found the flight, take off/landing very smooth thanks to our skilful pilot. Will definitely be recommending to my friends who visit Cairns. Amazing

The best views of the Great Barrier Reef. Both sides of the plane get to see each part of the reefs. Water is insane and even got to see a shark on our flight.

The team went above & beyond

The team were amazing to us. There was some rain out on the reef which meant a delay/uncertainty in our scenic flight happening. They us informed and even advised they rescheduled the flight after us to give us every hope of getting out to see the reef. When the weather behaved they acted quick to brief us on safety and get us out and in the helicopter. The views were incredible and our pilot was very assuring for any lil bumps we encountered due to some rain. It was magical to see the reef up high. Afterwards, they even dropped me to the commercial airport so I could make my flight out of Cairns.

Great Value

Great value for money experience. Our pilot Joe was excellent and new the area and history very well. Not easy to hear the comments through the earphones but that’s found on all small planes that we’ve ever been on. It didn’t spoil the experience.Would recommend this trip when visiting Cairns to everyone.

Loved our flight over part of The Great Barrier it was awesome and Joey was very informative. Each of us having a window seat meant we all had the best views and photo opportunities. Great Scenic experience

The Scenic flight was amazing and the staff even more.. the flight was smooth and it was great to have the pilot View (i was copilot during flight) the views are spechless and it was a different way to enjoy the GBR You must to book this tour while in Cairns… Believe me… it is worth it

Do it!

Excellent flight and a beautiful day to see the reef. Well run operation and our pilot Jesse was fantastic. You will get a great perspective of immensity of the Great Barrier Reef and hear some good information about the ecology of the site.

Daintree Air Services are an affordable and specialised provider for a breathtaking view of the Great Barrier Reef. Our safety briefing brought many chuckles from Luke who ran us through what to do in case of emergencies. Joey our captain provided in air commentary and history of the islands and areas of reef we were flying over. The scenery is exactly like a postcard. Breathtaking and jaw dropping! You will not regret booking this tour.

Best thing along the east coast

Had an amazing flight.It was very good organised and I had a lot of fun during the flight. The pilot was really nice as well and he made sure that we saw all the good spots. Shoutout to Joey

MUST DO ACTIVITY

Once in a lifetime experience to take a small plane and fly over the Great Barrier Reef. Views were spectacular from above. Our pilot Thomas was friendly and a good live commentator. Highly recommend to go on this scenic flight. You will be in awe of the vastness of the sea and reef. No regrets.

Stunning views during the flight and a gorgeous pilot who provided us with a lot of details about the reef. It was just amazing and I felt safe and in good hands all the time.
