A special day!

Our tour was with Balazs and was absolutely terrific. We were picked up in a classic car which was a treat. Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable. I’ve taken many tours in different countries but this might be the best of all. Thanks for the wonderful day!

Beautiful day in an awesome car

What a wonderful day we had with Balazs !! He was a wonderful tour guide and helped me surprise my husband on his birthday with bringing his beautiful restored Volvo car to drive us for the day! My husband was so happy and loved every minute of the day ! I would highly recommend booking with Balazs you will be happy you did, he made our last day in the city one we will always remember! He even stopped and bought strawberries at a road side market and flowers for his Mom! He was very personable and enjoyable to sight see with! Thank you for a wonderful time!

Classic Fun with Balazs

So extremely happy we booked this tour and would most definitely book another one with Balazs (our guide). The classic car, 1957 Opel, was truly luxury and a joy to ride in. Our guide, Balazs Ackermann was amazing, so informative and a pleasure to have spent the day with. The village we visited was quaint and the food Balazs recommended was delicious!

Nice little excursion outside Budapest

Best thing about this trip was the car - a plum colored 1957 Opel Reckard - and its driver - a mechanical engineer who is also a vintage car enthusiast and restoration expert. Not only did he show us Danube River Bend but also took us around the quirky town of Szentendre, home to local artists and a thriving community. Balascz said he owned 10 classic cars in his garage, some of which are driven on tours. This is a half-day tour and not too far outside town. Would have liked to go up the castle, but we only drove by as we were short of time.

Above and beyond!

Attila was a great guide and went above and beyond what was expected. He found a place with authentic Hungarian food where I had pork goulash, a kind that my grandmother was making when I was young! The place did not have it on the menu but instead offered to prepare it for us anyway! Highly recommend!

A great day trip from Budapest

Fantastic day in a lovely car

Unfortunately the weather wasn’t very good the day of the trip and we were unable to visit the hills and views of the Danube in the car. But our guide Balazs made up for this by taking us to see some other hidden gems nearby. We did manage to visit the art town of Szentendre which was stunning and very photogenic. Balazs walked us around and showed us all sorts of interesting points. Our guide was amazing and very informative, we was very knowledgeable and friendly and knew the area very well. The car on the day was stunning and it was fantastic travelling around in it, Balazs was able to tell us all about it, how he restored it, and how it worked. He was such a nice, genuine person and made our day very special, thank you Balazs. It was such a shame the weather wasn’t great, but you made up for this, and more, and went the extra mile to make this an experience to remember. Would definitely recommend this tour, and would love to come back in the summer one day and do it once more.

Excellant Private Tour

Dispite the foggy day ,we had a great time with Attilla . He picked us up t our Hotel promptly and we enjyed a private tour of the Art Town . He found some great photo ops for my husband an avid photographer . It was great to have a personal guide, Atty gave us some great information and we also enjoyed a good Hungarian lunch. A must do while in Budapest

Our guide was fantastic. His car was a classic and his knowledge of Hungarian history and ability to make great conversation made our day. It was great to visit a small town, view the architecture and chat with the locals.

Great fun, sites and guides

Great tour with great guides. The towns and sites were great and the guides in our 2 cars were so nice and flexible to what we wanted to do, even stopping upon our request when we saw a fun mini go cart ride in one of the mountain towns.

Would take the tour again!

We had a fun tour with Attila. He provided us with historical and other helpful information about the places we went to and Hungary in general. Really loved it!

Unique touring experience in a classic car!

We had a wonderful day with Balasz. He drove us up to the beautiful village of Szentendre in his gorgeous beautifully restored 1957 Mercury Savoy. We really enjoyed learning about his twin passions of cars and Hungary. He is a wonderful ambassador for his country. Szentendre is a lovely historic village with cool little streets to explore.

Classic car tour along the Danube with Balazs

Hello, My husband and I loved this tour. We were picked up in a classic car and driven along the Danube river. The guide, Balazs, was so knowledgeable and his passion for Budapest was infectious. He loved answering our questions and his history was impressive!! He even took us a Roman ruin when he knew we mentioned our amazement that the Romans were in Budapest. Honestly, the car was the cherry on a great tour. Thank you so much Balazs!

57 Opal car

It was a lovely trip to a part of Budapest we would have never experienced. Loved the little town and enjoyed learning about the history and struggles of the country in general. Our guide was delightful and very personable. However, traveling in a 57 opal car, on a hot day, with no AC was not a good idea!!!

A very enjoyable experience in a fantastic auto dating back to the time of classic cars with a passionate guy totally into his cars and the history of Budapest. A great experience! Don’t miss it.

Great city break from Budapest

Was a great excursion out of the city. Atilla was a great guide and knows so much history about the region. I highly recommend this private tour.

Fabulous day out

What an amazing day from pick up to drop off and everything in between. Our driver Balazs made the day extremely memorable. He picked us up in his vintage Opel car, ensuring we were all comfortable, before heading across the Danube and into the art town of Szentendre. The whole time Balazs shared his passion for vintage cars, his country and the incredible history found in snd out of the borders. After walking us through the art town and to the top of the hill we stopped for a coffee and snack before heading to the Danube Bend. The drive out was very pretty as you passed through the countryside, villages and some ancient ruins. I’d thoroughly recommend this tour and hope you have our amazing driver.

Brilliant!

Brilliant trip! Great to see things outside of the city centre. Tour Guide was very knowledgeable and tailored the tour to my Mum's mobility. Would recommend to everyone.

Scenic Hills along the Danube

This was the best tour! Attila was extremely accommodating. I told Attila that I was interested in photography and I had a request to be at Fisherman's Bastion at sunset. Attila made sure that we got the most of our tour and was at the Bastion at sunset. He was very kind and informative about the sites we visited and made it a point to bring us to sites that would give us the best vantage points for photography.

A Must do

OMG! This was one of the best tours I have taken. We could not have asked for a better guide - Attila. Spoke very good English and very easy to understand. He took us to places that were not even on my list. Adjusted his schedule to adjust the times that would work better for me. Pick us and dropped us off exactly where we wanted. He send me a text stating he would be there in 15 minutes with the type of vehicle and color. A MUST DO.

Superb Excellent!!!!!

This was one of the BEST side trips my husband and I have ever experienced. The trip began at about 9:30 am and we were returned to our Hotel at about 4:30 to our Hotel where we were picked up. The car was very comfortable with a glass roof. we had a wonderful Tuk-Tuk tour the day before so we travelled along and high above the Danube. We had many stops to take photos and stopped for lunch. Our driver/ guide was knowledgeful and very flexible. He is a new owner of this business. We can not say enough positive about our tour or the driver/guide and highly recommend any tourist to take this wonderful experience

Best tour in Budapest

Attila, our guide was really great, professional, funny and very informative. He took us to some beautiful places, helped with shopping and even gave me tips on getting great pictures. Really enjoyed the day and was excellent value for money.
