Best way to see the sights

Great guide (Roui) He asked what we wanted to see and adjusted our tour based on what we had already seen. This way, we got to see things that we would have missed. Had plenty of time for photos and didn't rush us at any point. Felt like we were in charge, which made for a more enjoyable and relaxed tour.

Great way to see Budapest sights

A great way to see the highlights of Budapest sights in a 2-hour tour. Our fantastic guide, Paul, took us to the key sights and viewpoints on both the Buda and the Pest sides of the city. Paul was very knowledgeable in both the history and current affairs of Budapest. It was a great overview that helped us decide what we would like to see in more detail. He was very flexible in letting us end our tour at the Ghetto Bars in the Jewish Quarter - a great spot to finish!

A fascinating tour

It is a wonderful introduction to Budapest. We got to know the city from our local guide's perspective and we got to visit areas amd sights we would have otherwise missed. Dave was a wonderful guide to the city. Highly recommended!

Brilliant orientation & fun way to see the Budapeset

Had a brilliant 2.5hrs orientation of Budapest - such a beautiful city! Would have preferred an e-tuktuk :-). Our driver was very knowledgeable - apologies but we forgot his name. Would recommend this tour and then go back to places that you want to see more of.

A perfect way to see Budapest

As a first time visitor to Budapest and as a couple in our 70’s we wanted a tour that provided a great oversight of the key cultural and historical sites of Budapest that didn’t involve a huge amount of walking. The Tuk Tuk Tour was perfect in this regard. The bonus was our charming guide Paul, who not only was a font of knowledge on the key cultural, political and historical aspects of the beautiful city of Budapest but assisted us in several other ways: ensuring we received the tickets for our later boat cruise, downloading an app to assist with local transportation and providing insights into the contemporary lives of the citizens of Budapest and Hungary. We had a most enjoyable experience and would highly recommend it to others.

A fantastic tour with Ben

The absolutely best way to tour Budapest! We arrived mid morning and did our tour in the afternoon, as we were leaving again early the next morning. Ben picked us up from our Hotel and off we went. Fun & interesting ride in a Tuk Tuk

We had 2 Tuk Tuks for the 4 of us. We were in separate hotels (1 in Pest; 1 in Buda), they picked us up separately and we met up at the Parliament building. Very accommodating. Our guides (Robby and Gabi M) were fantastic. Riding in the Tuk Tuk was good fun and there were lots of curious onlookers taking pictures of US!! : ) The Tuk Tuks can go into side streets that the tour buses cannot - for example they easily took us to the Ruins Bars and Food Truck alley in the Jewish Quarter. You can also just ask them to pull over virtually any where and they will. Rained a little bit but the cover kept us dry, no problem. We all agreed money well spent and the 4 hours flew by. Lastly, I am 6'5" and the other guy is 6"3". Both easily fit in our respective vehicles with our wives.

I was alone during the...

I was alone during the day so I decided to try the Tuk Tuk tout. Paul was very informative and so very nice! He catered the tour based on my interest. Would definitely recommend the tour!

Wonderful Experience!!!

First, due to road closures, I was contacted by company, apologize can’t recall name of person, he stayed on the line with me while we walked to new pickup location to meet up with driver. Respect for caring for us, ensuring we made way to pickup to meet with driver/guide. The tour was so fun and informative! We advised our driver David to take us to locations he thought we shouldn’t miss. Great job David!!! If we ever get to return to Budapest we’d definitely do another TukTuk tour with this company.

Great Budapest Tour by Tuk

Very good tour with several stops of 10 minutes to allow a good look at noteworthy sights and time to take photos. Tuk driver was well informed and gave his commentary in impeccable English. We enjoyed the more than 2 hour Tuk tour. I recommend it to anyone wanting an introduction to Budapest.

Fun time

First time on a Tuk Tuk and wonderful experience. Our driver Dave took us to places we didn't expect and only wished we had done this the first day so we could have had time to revisit the stops. Dave was great and the ride was so much fun. Highly recommended

Fantastic four hours

Well worth the money, we spent four hours with our driver Zoltan, what a character, don’t think we missed a sight in Budapest. He was very knowledgeable about his home city and we came away knowing more about Budapest than any guide book could tell you and the experience of riding in a Tuk Tuk was great. We were picked up at our hotel on the river bank and the adventure started straight away till he dropped us at our chosen spot the market, non stop commentary and views what a great way to while away the hours. Great fun.

Fantastic Budapest tour

Paul was an amazing guide! He tailored our tour of Budapest so that we could see exactly what we wanted. He took us to a location on the Buda side where we could take wonderful photos. His knowledge of history and culture of Hungary was excellent. Highly recommend!

Do it!

We had an amazing tour! The tuk tuk tour guide picked us up from our hotel and was delightful. He was full of knowledge and had a great sense of humour. He was attentive to what we wanted to see and dropped us off for our boat tour. Thank you to this gentleman (we forgot his name) but he is a credit to tuktuk company and Budapest!

Great way to see a bigger part of the city

Our guide Dave was terrific. He was exceptionally knowledgeable and covered a wide range of interests. It was wonderful to get an overview of the whole city and enabled us to decide what we wanted to visit in more detail later.

Excellent Tuk Tuk Tour

What an amazing time we had on the Budapest Tuk Tuk City Tour. Our guide, Paul was so knowledgeable and friendly. He explained the history of every venue we visited and the country as a whole. He put us at ease from the minute we met him and tailored our tour to suit our requests. He stopped along the way to take photos of us and ensured we were comfortable at all times. At the end he asked where we wanted to be dropped off and accommodated us perfectly. He even came with us to the restaurant we chose and ensured we were happy with the menu before leaving us. This tour was the highlight of my trip & exceeded all expectations. I would highly recommend!

SO MUCH FUN!!

Our driver and guide was so knowledgeable and accommodating. He knew all the best vantage points and took so many pictures of my daughter and me at monuments and points of interest. I highly recommend this tour!

We had a delightful morning /early afternoon with our tour guide, Peter Geosits! He was quite informative , knowledgeable and very proud of his country’s history and contributions toward science (i.e.ball point pens) and peace ! We drove to the “Columbo”statue, aka Peter Falk and enjoyed the story of the artist who developed tiny statues to depict the criminals in the Columbo tv show ! It was our first time in a Tuk tuk and found it an open air ride that gave us great views as we could drive up Very close to each point of the tour! The stop at Hero Square was so informative and interesting! Peter has a great way of inviting you into Hungarian history while weaving in his story of growing up in this beautiful country! Well worth the time and money!

Great tour with Paul

Paul was a great guide! Perused the streets like a true pro. His knowledge of history and facts about Budapest was mind boggling. He took us to several places that I'd never thought I'd seen. i.e. ruin bar. Very friendly, easy to understand and very accommodating.

Best way to learn about Budapest

Communication from the company was excellent on organizing our tour. We had two groups in different hotels and they coordinated the pick ups at the different hotels so we would meet and then go through the tour together. The drivers were fun and very knowledgeable. They customize the route based on what you want to do. At the stop lights they would park next to each other so you can talk to the rest of your party if you have multiple tuk tuk going. I highly recommend this at the beginning of the visit to Budapest so you can then list out the different areas or locations you want to go back and spend more time.

Worth the price.

Lots of fun and well worth it. Better than a large group experience. Fun ridding in TukTuk and we could easily get in and out of places, parking spots, crowded streets, etc. Robert Kovacd was great. Our tour was in English.

Unique way to discover Budapest

Being advanced in age, we used this guided tour in a TukTuk. It was very practical as we did not have much time to explore ourselves. We could visit most of the sites to-be visited in Budapest and the young English speaking guide was ever ready to make our tour meaningful. He gave us brief historical background of all the places visited. Norbert Gorai, our guide was very knowledgable of the history of Budapest & Hungary. I will recommend this mode of Budapest visit for those not very comfortable with walking and having limited time to spend with a manageable budget.

Great tour with an our excellent guide Peter

We had a fantastic tour of Budapest with Peter a very knowledgeable and friendly guide who showed us the best of the city with some tips of what we can do with our free time. I strongly recommend having Peter as your guide!

Awesome tuk tuk tour!

We did a city tour with Peter and he was absolutely brilliant. Super knowledgeable and happy to answer all of our questions. This tour was the best way to orientate ourselves in this beautiful city and we would definitely recommend.

Peter, our driver and guide was amazing and made it one of the the best of experiences of our European trip... He asked what we had been to, what we wanted to see and then molded our adventure to what we asked for! And he answered all questions and gave us so much information!

Fun way to see Budapest

The was a great way to see the city! Informative and lots of fun. We went with a group of six people so we had 3 tuk tuks - guides weee all great! We stopped to see the ruin bars which was also a great experience.

Tuk Tuk Touring is the Best

Our First Visit to Budapest We have experienced several Tuk Tuk tours while visiting other countries but this tour was the very best. This Tuk Tuk experience was just the right way to see Budapest for the first time. We had two Tuk Tuks and both Paul and Ben were excellent guides and drivers. If you would like a very personal experience this is it. The best part was seeing Budapest and learning about history and modern day culture while zipping around both Buda and Pest. A very special stop was the “Shoes on the Danube Bank” memorial along the Danube River , dedicated to Hungarian Jewish people who died during WWII. This is a 5 Star experience not to be missed! It was a great way to see many parts of the city and have a terrific guide, Peter, who was extremely knowledgeable about the city and the region. He provided terrific information that made our visit rewarding.

Doing Budapest Easy ....

I was a very unique and fun tour. One on One with a young tour guide who knew his way around including the important and interesting parts of history. We would definitely recommend doing this for those who wish a different kind of tour.

Ben is the Ultimate Tuk Tuk Tour Guide

Ben was a fantastic tour guide. He was extremely generous in relaying the colorful history of Budapest in particular and Hungary in general. The TukTuk vehicle was comfortable and Ben drove carefully. Since this was our first trip to Hungary, it was a fabulous way to get an overview of Budapest and decide where we wanted to later concentrate our time. A terrific value and a wonderful time!

A New Experience

A superb experience with Dave. He knew the hidden nooks and corners of Budapest, so our experience was quite different from the ones you normally get. Wish we had done a longer one of 4 hours. Definitely worth a try.

Worth doing

Peter our tour director/ driver was excellent. Showed us all the main sites, didn’t rush us. In hindsight we should have done the 4hr tour instead of the 2.5hr one.

Budapest Highlights

Great way to get an overview of the city. Our group used 6 Tuk Tuks, each of the drivers spoke English and took part in talking about the different places where we stopped. Would highly recommend this group.

Fun hassle free sightseeing

We had the two and a half hours private tour and were picked up right outside our hotel door. Our driver was Balazs Levay. The whole tour was brilliant and we took lots of photos in amazing locations. Balazs was very knowledgeable and friendly, the tour was like being driven around by a friend having a laugh. We saw all the major sights and bridges with excellent input from Balazs. We requested our tour finish at the central market and we’re dropped right outside. A great hassle free morning, sightseeing.

Disappointing at Best

We were very disappointed with our TukTuk in Budapest, especially coming off a similar tour in Portugal. Our guide showed up 15 minutes late. When he arrived he asked what we wanted to see. If we knew what we wanted to see, we would not have needed a tour.

Take a Tuk Tuk

Our drivers customizes our tour to take us to places we would not have visited on our group tour with the cruise company. We were on a mountain top looking down on Buda and Pesh. We ended our tour at one of the “ruin bars” for my husband. Our guides were professional, informative and friendly!
