An excellent way to visit Budapest

Our first visit to Budapest and this is definitely the way to see the city. Thomas is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Excellent quality of bike - very easy to ride and with a small group it is also fun. An absolute recommend.

A wonderful way to see the city

Once again by booking a bike tour for our first day in a new city we were delighted by the experience. In a sudden downpour we got to relive experiences like children playing. We hid under ancient passageways near the fisherman's lookout. We visited spots that I'd not learned of in the multiple videos about Budapest I'd watched planning for the trip. Our guide was knowledgeable with some great stories about the royal characters of the past. Evokes we're the way to go propelling us up hills easily

Bike around Budapest!

The best way to see Budapest is on a bike with a guide who knows a lot about the city👍! We had that guide and super bikes! The tour lasted a bit too long, three hours would be enough, and that was what we expected, not four hours.

Great trip

Had a great trip around the main sites of beautiful Budapest. The bikes were really good, and very new Our guide Baliant was really informative. It was raining at the start but we were given ponchos which worked a treat. Would definitely recommend.

Electric Bikes Are They The Future?

First time in Budapest, first time on an electric bike for both me & my wife. The tour consisted of a tour guide Oliver & 8 clients, unfortunately some had not ridden a cycle for many years, also English was not some clients first language. So progress was very slow at times. Oliver was very informative, having been raised within Budapest. The tour did progress as fast as possible considering the skill level of some clients but we didn't manage to see everything. Assessment of the tour was very good, Assessment of electric bikes useful on hills but you can ride without the electric power, as one of the riders from the USA did. We all waited at the top of Buda Castle hill to give her a round of applause.

A really interesting and fun tour.

A thoroughly enjoyable tour with a great group of people and an excellent guide - Balint - thank you! We thought 3.5 hours might be too much but we’d have liked to have stayed on to see more (but had another booking). Would recommend and will definitely do again when we return.

Amazing, exciting and enjoyable.

This was a wonderful experience from start to finish. The bikes were brand new and were just so comfortable & easy to control when using the 'electric' option. The weather was glorious abd our guide Karol? was excellent His knowledge of 'his' city was second to none & I gained a great deal from his imformation. At al times he was attentive to our needs and made sure we were all safe & together at all timesHe was friendly, caring and a delught to be with. The group were lively & we all had a thoroughly good time. I would recommend this company to anyone wishing to do a bike tour here. Thank you so much

Brilliant way to get your bearings

Great way to discover Budapest and get orientated. Bikes were in excellent condition- riding up the hills was a breeze. Karoly our guide was knowledgeable, friendly and approachable. Highly recommend

Great tour of Budapest

Great views around the city with addition of city history from our fantastic tour guide! Electric bikes were a nice addition. Our guide was very patient throughout the ride. Busy streets and sidewalks made it tricky to navigate city at times which is expected.

Great snapshot of Buda and Pest

The whole experience was great. Our guide was super organised and knowledgeable. There was 10 of us and he never lost us! The evokes were a great leveller. Meant differing fitness levels were catered for and a real boost for the hills in Buda. Great value for money and a lovely way to see the city.

Thumbs Up!

A good way to see a lot of Budapest in a short time. I recommend getting an extra water bottle as the water bottle they give you may not be enough to satiate your thirst. You won’t have time to stop and purchase a drink. Sights are beautiful and the tour guide is excellent and friendly. A fun way to do interact with other tourists.

Superb Guide with the tour and very nice knowledge about the city and the architecture

Perfect bikes, water supplied and Balint was a perfect guide. Knew all the details and places you would not see on your own. Gave enough rest to the group. The Pest part was show with a lot of details and knowledge about history and facts new to me. The climb up Buda was very beautiful and Balint gave good advice about how to use the electrical support on the bike. The top was really rewarding because it has beautiful architecture and also a lot of information about the history and current things about BudaPest. Would do it again and advise it to everyone.

Nice length tour covering a great range of sights

A nice leisurely tour through Budapest. We covered a good number of areas, and there was plenty of time to see various things with the tour being ~3.5 hours, we never felt rushed. Although 20km long it was effortless, being on ebikes. Our guide was also very knowledgeable - bring your questions! Highly recommended.

Great morning bike tour

Great tour, our guide was relaxed and informative taking us to some key sites and beautiful parts of the city. Top tips for our stay also given :). The bikes were incredibly easy to ride. Would recommend especially at the beginning of your stay in the city.

A ride to remember

Karol was an excellent and informative guide! It ended up being just me and him but he treated me like a VIP. He gave great information and was actually excited to answer questions fully. He had interesting facts to share, historically and culturally, with a good sense of humor. Highly recommend this company and tour. There one of kind self produced wooden electronic bikes are show stoppers. Very, very cool.

Best way to see the city

What a great way to learn about Budapest history. The area is much to big to cover on foot. Our guide was native Hungarian with very good English. We enjoyed his stories so much. The bikes are easy to ride and fun to get around the city on. I recommend non polarized sun glasses so you can read the digital display on the e-bike

Informative and friendly tour of the city and it’s history.

Amazing tour of Budapest explaining all of the main attractions and the history behind the city. Our tour was 3.5 hours. We went a comfortable pace and felt very safe and informed the whole way. Thank you Károly! Köszönöm!

Great tour well worth it great City

Bikes are very good but could do with a basket to carry coat etc. Guide Karoly (sorry how i spell that) was very clear and helpful. Enjoyable never felt 4 hours going. Suggest a coffee break for 10 mins half way through would help.

Great for getting a lay of the land in Budapest

This was a fun tour of the city. You get to see both sides Buda and Pestt. The electric bikes are a must for the Buda side. The bikes are brand new and very well constructed. Somewhat light on the historical side but that's okay we did lots of that on other things

A great way to see and learn about history (with many great photo moments)

Our guide - apologies I can't pronounce or guess how to spell his name - was incredibly knowledgeable and share many great personal and historical stories of the sites we visited. The e-bike is essential for climbing the hilly terrain of Buda if you're not an avid biker. With it, the tour isn't extraneous and the time flies by as you ride around the city.

What a great way to see the sights in Budapest highlight of our trip. Bikes are in fab condition, tour guide is extremely knowledgeable. We had an amazing day as a family with older teens. Would definitely recommend this tour and it’s so effortless on the electric bikes and we covered several miles.

Great experience and a lovely relaxed ride around the city. Saw all the major sites and the guide improvised well when some of the roads were closed off due to the marathon. Would recommend to anyone visiting Budapest.

Absolutely brilliant

Fantastic tour. Brilliant guide who was very knowledgeable. The bikes were new and absolutely fantastic. I have done a e-bike tour recently in Paris and this one was by far much better, absolutely brilliant and the best one I have done.

Let the bikes do the work

A great way to see the city with a well informed guide and the electric bikes do all the work even right the way up to the Fisherman's Bastion.

Dinner cruise

Was a great night with musicians and dancers. Food delicious and a good selection. Boat clean and well presented. Paid for Buffett window seat and unlimited drinks. Unfortunately staff asked for us to pay for extra drinks. Was abruptly asked to show my payment on my phone. Was offended and insulted. We paid for everything and then they came back to us saying they were wrong and we were right with thumbs up. Not much of a apology. Ruined our night as my husband was upset. Earlier my husband mentioned that the bar staff needed to be more friendlier and at least have a smile on there face! I speak Hungarian and we were on our honeymoon and wanted to show him Hungary were my parents were from. Sad

Brilliant experience, highly recommend

This was definitely the very best way to get a handle on the city at the start of our few days stay. The bikes were excellent and our guide Joel was brilliant. The tour set is up with a really good way to plan to make the most of our time in Budapest, and it was great fun in and of itself. Could not recommend it highly enough.

A great introduction to the city sights of Budapest

Cycling effortlessly all the way up Castle Hill :) Being able to get around so many of the major sights of the city; Knowledgeable, enthusiastic and informative guide who did well to keep the large group together. Would have appreciated a more padded seat and a small carrier on the front for my bag. The tour took nearly 4.5 hours in total and I was very saddle sore by the end, not being a regular cyclist. A proper break with time to sit down at a cafe for a drink would have been lovely.

If visiting Budapest, do this! Essential for any itinerary.

Fantastic tour, the perfect way to see Budapest. Our guide Balint is a local Hungarian but spoke perfect English and gave just enough detail to be really interesting without losing the teenagers. He clearly had much deeper knowledge, easily answering deeper questions and also sharing some personal experience of life in Budapest. The eco friendly wooden ebikes were excellent and easily suited the wide range of sizes and ability in the group (I'm 6'4" and was fine). My wife doesn't normally enjoy cycling or the 36° heat but also enjoyed the tour, it was actually cooler with the breeze on the power assisted bikes than walking! We ticked off pretty much all the main landmarks despite clashing with road closures for a marathon, Balint detoured so that we hardly noticed. Our route felt safe in this busy city at all times and helmets & water were provided. Quite simply a brilliant experience that's not to be missed!

Excellent intro to the city

Excellent bikes. Excellent guide. Great way to see a lovely HILLY city without breaking a sweat. The group was pretty large and you ride through city streets, so not the best option for inexperienced urban bikers.

BEAUTIFUL AMAZING BIKES

I got upgraded to an e-bike tour because of weather. THE BIKES WERE AMAZING!! I am only giving a very good rating because of the crowds during the time I was there. I think some changes should have been made to the tour route. I enjoyed everything and would recommend highly this company. I have done MANY bike tours throughout Europe and some signals from the guide always help us know when and what we are doing. I felt there weren't as many with this tour but I enjoyed it nonetheless.

Unique and fantastic bike tour.

Our first visit to Budapest. Myself and hubby booked this trip on Tuesday 01/08/23, via Viator, as used many times in the past, and always so efficient. The bike tour was fantastic. From our lovely caring, well informed guide, to the views, the locations, the stories behind each location we stopped at, it was all perfect from start to finish. Then there's the e bikes, absolutely brilliant. Unique and fun and great up hill. Had the best few hours in Budapest on this bike tour.

Great tour

A great tour! Extremely informative! So worth the cost, I would recommended this highly. The bike were in great condition and very easy to use. No real effort in the e-bikes so don’t worry about the hills of Buda.

Must do tour

The tour was fantastic! The E-bikes are a great way to see both the Buda and Pest sides of the city. Our tour guide (Balin? I think it was sorry) was great. He informed us on many interesting facts about the main historical sites and is a must do tour! Maybe just bring a snack as it goes for about 3-3.5 hours

Easy E Bike, best way to see a City

First time on an E bike and I am converted, so easy to ride up even the steepest hill. Great morning, our guide, Ester was very knowledgeable and the whole fam enjoyed the easy cycling and amazing sightseeing. Thank you.
