Transfer

Old battered VW van with driver that stank of old tobacco. Felt every bump in road and car rattled its way to our hotel

City break

Booking process was easy to use with both drivers being ok.return driver very prompt at pick up. When arriving at airport note that you are not greeted individually. We struggled to find the driver/company. In the end my husband noticed his name on a board held by a young lady with a group of maybe 20/30 people all waiting. This should have been made clear. We then had to wait for a specific driver with everyone’s name being called out in turn.

Reliable and excellent service

Great service. On arrival to Budapest, the driver sent me a WhatsApp message to say where to meet. He even called me to follow up. He met us right on time and was very pleasant. The return trip was just as smooth and the driver was early. Very reliable and friendly service.

Airport Taxi

Very good service, about 5 minute wait for driver at airport. There are advisors at arrivals with your name on boards and they advise driver on way. Friendly driver took us to hotel and advised time of our return pick up on the Monday. He was on time picking us up on the return journey. Great service would recommend.

Wot! No driver!

We arrived at Budapest airport where we were met by a young lady holding a board with our name on - the board also had about 15 other names on it. We were herded into a corner and told to wait for our drivers to appear. The herd began to thin and after our “hostess” made a number of phone calls asking his whereabouts our driver appeared after 40 minutes. Not the end of the world but after a long day of travel it was an unwelcome delay and not what we were expecting. I expect the driver’s delay their arrival until they know their fare is in “arrivals” to avoid the airport parking fees. The return was much better. I rang the day before to confirm the pick up time, our driver arrived promptly and we were at the airport in good time. This is a relatively cheap way to get a private transfer into the city but, if you’re expecting to be met on arrival and whisked away, you may be disappointed!

Not there waiting for us as advertised

Someone was supposed to be stood waiting with a name board. We waited a while and had to call the out-of-office number for the driver to come. Not good

Budapest Airport Transfer

Overall a good experience. A little snafu on arrival. Can’t locate driver with my name plate. I called and was told delay due to traffic. (Always handy to have their phone number on hand). Anyway got sorted out in 10 minutes and on way to hotel. Going back to airport was a breeze. Driver came earlier than expected to fetch me from the hotel lobby which I don’t mind at all. The lady minding the phone is also very helpful.

Excellent service, so glad I selected this company

I had to go through a lot of reviews to see what would be the best option as I traveled with a child. As soon as I made my booking, I got all the confirmation, to my email and my mobile a standard communication but still very handy and reassuring. On the way to Budapest at the airport there saw my name on one of the boards and then was placed in a very large people carrier that was air conditioned. The driver was so nice and we chatted a bit. On the way to the airport about 15 minutes before the picking up time I received a call from the driver himself and it was another painless experience. Everything was spot on, well worth the money and I appreciate their service very much.

Not impressed

When we arrived in Budapest, our driver was not there but there was another man with our name on his board and he just ignored us. We waited about 25 minutes and I was going to hire a cab but then our driver showed up and he also gave a ride to a friend of his who she had some food she was eating that stunk god awful. Miserable ride

Picked up at airport, a short wait for driver to be contacted by girl with long list of names to be dealt with. Given pick up time for return journey. Turned up on time. Very pleased with everything. Would use again if travelling to Budapest. Great price too.

Excellent drivers and efficient service

Polite, punctual and friendly drivers. Good quality cars. Very efficient and reliable. The only minor issue was the fact that we were expecting a driver at the airport with a board with our name on. There was a person with a board containing a list of names and, as another reviewer pointed out, she was quite difficult to find, and she then had to deal with taxis for a lot of customers. Perhaps if the company suggested that customers look for this person slightly further into the arrivals hall (and that your name might be "hidden" in a list of others) it would save the worry of looking at all the other individual drivers' boards to check for your name. Despite this, though, I would be very happy to use this company again. The return journey was great - I emailed the day before to confirm the journey and had a reply within seconds. The driver was punctual and phoned from the street to let us know he had arrived.

Return transfers

Both transfers were prompt, drivers courteous and cars clean. Took us right to the door of our apartment and unloaded our luggage. Excellent service.

Not as advertised

When we came through arrivals we expected to see our driver holding a sign with our name on (as per the company's advert)- not so! The arrivals hall was crowded, we couldn't find or see our driver, after spending 10 minutes looking my husband went off to see where he was. What he found was a young woman with a sign in the crook of her elbow with a phone to her ear, the sign was not easy to see, it had many names on, ours included and she was surrounded by a large group of people who were obviously in the same position as us awaiting their transport. She didn't explain to us what was happening we had no alternative but to wait around until 20 minutes later our driver came through the door then she called out our name. I will say our driver was unaware of how long we'd been waiting and was very apologetic but next time we'll pick up our yellow cab outside rather than have this situation. The return journey from the hotel was perfect, the cab driver was on time and came into the foyer to collect us.

Just keep an eye out at the arrivals for their sign with all the peoples names on it, it will not just have your name, but there was no problem locating them at the airport, we would highly recommend them!!

Very efficient and reliable transfer.

We had a few issues before the transfer with a last minute change of accommodation and then my flight being delayed but the transfer company responded quickly and kept in touch with me. Pick up was on time both ways and polite and friendly drivers. Would highly recommend this transfer both for service and value.

Excellent service. On time. Friendly and informative Driver. Helps especially when visiting new country. Driver remembered that two of my guests had trouble getting up into the van and on return transfer brought a step so enabled my guest to get into van easily. Very much appreciated his initiative. From Budapest Airport and back

At arrivals was a little chaotic trying to find our name on a board amongst other names and lots of boards. However the driver texted whilst we were waiting for our bags so we knew someone was there. Once found they rang the driver to come round for us and after 20 minutes we were on our way. Same Driver was early for our return but we were ready so that was great. Overall a great service and would recommend.
