We had a great Day Visiting the Sunshine Coast Hinterland and Noosa Trip - The Eumundi Markets were wonderful. Our guide Bruce was awesome and made our day even better.

Lovely Day Trip with Delightful Guide

super stay in markets ; too short in Noosa. I wish we stay longer in Noosa and have just a 10 mn stop in the ginger factory.

The trip was informative...

The trip was informative and interesting at times. I found that Bruce’s commentary at times was hard to hear, he had a lot of information to impart but at times listening was difficult. The timing for the trip was well managed and the timetable was adhered to well. It would have been better if we could have spent more time at the Ginger Attraction, certainly not enough time for ice cream (the ginger and macademia nut was amazing) and looking around the shop. I would recommend the trip but be prepared to keep to the timetable as there is little room for deviation.

Great trip, Bruce was a good driver and guide too.

The market had over 300 very eclectic stalls, very busy but easy to see everything. A great friendly vibe, would recommend a visit. Noosa is truly beautiful, wish we'd of had more time there though. 1.5hours wasn't enough for us.

Great tour outside of the city.

We went in an overcast day, but it was still enjoyable. The markets run rain or shine. The tour guide was knowledgeable and funny.

Great tour, highly recommended

Great tour, lots of shopping opportunities with local suppliers and a great cross-section of Australian products. Noosa was amazing with a surfing event ongoing. Driver was a great tour guide with lots of history about the region.

Great day out!

I had a really nice time on this tour. Not a long stay at each place, but good to get an idea if you would like to go back and spend more time at a certain place, or just get an overall look at a few places. Personally, I would go back and spend more time at Mary Cairncross and Montville, but was not a big fan of markets or of Noosa; but thats just me! So it was a big help in deciding my next little trip away. Ginger Factory was more for a comfort stop, but lots of goodies to buy there too. Driver was awesome fella, very friendly and helpful.

The trip was awesome. Thank you to Brian. Very nice and easy person. With his experiences and explanation based on destinations and places we went, make the trip full of information. Thumbs up.

Most stops will just touch and go.

The coach is small for 10 tourists on the day trip. Few tourists were on the “big” size and I felt cramp and uncomfortable. There are quite a few stops and most is 50min to 90mins. I will not encourage this tour if you want something more relax. The weather is also too hot!

Poor Sound System in the Van

Bruce needs to upgrade the audio system in his van. I was siting behind him and could only get about 30% of what he was saying because the volume, although set at the max level, was too low and his commentary was being covered by the AC noise and the road noise, and he did not use a headset. Two days later I did another Viator tour with another driver's van of the same size and I could hear everything that the driver said; he had a proper headset and the volume level was adequate even in the back of the van where I was sitting. So an upgrade of the sound system should be doable. Not being able to hear Bruce's commentary made the day trip a lot less enjoyable.

Excellent Trip well worth the money

The trip was excellent. Bruce the driver made the day he was entertaining and knowledgeable. It was nice just to be in a small group. The market was very good plenty of variety. Remember to take some swimwear with you or even a towel to either swim or just walk the shoreline at Noosa. The ocean was so warm.

Great day out. Bruce very entertaining and knowledgeable. Pity that ginger factory had no ice cream available as we were all hyped up to try some. Very disappointed.

Good experience! Knowledgeable guide and driver. Lots of beautiful views. The 4/5 stops were fun. We weren’t able to experience much of the last stop (The Ginger Factory) because of the thunder and lightning storms made the factory close up early for safety reasons.

Glass mountains

Enjoyed the itinerary and set up of this tour. The glass mountains are a hidden gem which should be given more exposure

The whole day was brilliant, with wonderful scenery and delightful towns along the way. The best part was wandering around all the market stalls at Eumundi.

Noosa

My suggestion spend more time at Noosa Heads and the market. Tour is too choppy, 1 hour here, 30 minutes there.

The Sunshine Coast Hinterland and Noosa Day Trip from Brisbane Incl Eumundi Markets tour was a great time! The group has the tour very well organized. They provide a pamphlet at the start of the tour which lists all stops, and the exact timing. And Bruce, our guide, arrived and departed at each stop right on the dot. It was nice to have an all day tour for some light shopping. But Noosa Beach is the true highlight of this tour!

Australian Traveler

W e had a great trip our guide Bruce did an excellent job on commentary about where we were and going. Queensland tours are the best. The market was great. Our only regret is that we didn’t have 10 minutes more at each stop. It was a little too rushed for time.

Entertaining day out without hassle

The Edmundo markets are really worth the visit. Take lots of money they’re really good for a variety of foods and hand made items. Also enjoyed Montville and the ginger factory.

The most beautiful beach!

Wonderful to see all the sights, specially Noosa! The Hinterlands tour is worth it. The bus could use some updating like charging ports at the seats and extra leg room and reclining. I would pay more for the extra comfort! You do get lots of breaks thankfully! Otherwise loved the tour!

Noosa!

Bruce was an excellent and very knowledgeable guide! It was nice to experience the smaller inland towns of Queensland. Noosa was the highlight, an extremely beautiful beach town. Thank you for the wonderful experience!

Authentic experience

This tour was an authentic experience where you can enjoy different beautiful places, relax at the beach in Noosa, visit the National park which has different spots to relax and to take some cool pictures.

Covers the key highlights of the Sunshine Coast

If you don't have much time in Brisbane and the surrounding areas I think this tour is really good. Its smaller groups than some other tours and most other people are traveling in pairs or solo. The tour takes you to some key spots, my favorite being Noosa beach, allowing you to fit a lot into a single day. The guide/driver is very knowledgeable of all the places visited, providing interesting commentary along the way. I would have liked more time at Noosa and an extra 10mins at the ginger factory so there's time to eat an ice cream and have a quick look around. However, fitting so much into one day is tricky and only gives limited stopping times! Overall, I really enjoyed my trip and it meant I got to see a lot more of Queensland than I would have otherwise!

Great day out

We enjoyed a great day out. Welcomed by our driver Bruce who was a really good guide and provided all the info we needed throughout the day. Lots of driving but that was expected. We would of liked more time at Emundi market but it was a packed day. We recommend the day

Loved Noosa! Wish we could have spent more time there. Nice overall scenery. A lot of driving for what we saw. Van was cramped with no leg room at all. Guide was fun and informative.

Too many things in too little time - a miss

The main attraction is the market, yet it only has 50min for visiting...it doesn't make sense. At the beach, you need to choose between walking the street, enjoying the beach or going to the natural reserve...again...lake of time. There is no point stopping at the view point, the village before the market and the Ginger factory. Maybe cutting those would give time to actually enjoy the main attractions and not just say hi/bye to them :-S

Does what it says on tin. Lot of bus time.

Look, this day trip does what it says on the tin. 👍. It works for some , timing wise and not for others. You would be better hiring a car and doing ur own trips. We got lucky wirh a dry day but wouldn't be nice on a wet day. This tour wasn't ideal for my teenager but suited the majority of older clients. It's a way to view a rain forest, a beach and some markets but it's a lot of bus time , a few short stops, half hr or hr at locations and the rest on motorways. Bruce was driver/ guide. Knowledge fella but I'd prefer a driver just drives and a guide guiding. Bruce wad hard to hear as his mike didn't sit well when he had it on. Roads were busy due to a traffic collision so he made good work to make up time. Bus was small , seats tight and as the bus was fairly full some seats over wheels were most uncomfortable an passengers had to move around. Bottles of water were included on bus which was welcome. The first stop was a pure waste of time and should be taken out of the trip and time given to other stops. Neither time for a real look around or a coffee. Itd propably a toulet stop realky. Next stop was a 20min stop at a rain forest . It was beautiful , cool ( pack a jacket) , and the views from here of the Glass mountains stunning. Bruce gave a good talk here. But we hadnt tomebto really tour the area or get local information . Next stop was Eumundi Markets (1 hr). About 300 market stalls here. And numerous eclectic food stalls. 😋 yummy selections here . Stalls had beautiful goods on sale, not as cheap as some expected but quality goods. Next stop is noosa beach (1.5hrs) beautiful area and beach and several places burger/ fish places to eat. Some places service is very slow so watch the time. If i was to do this again I'd say bring a picnic with u and swim suit and spend the full hr and half on the beach at Noosa. Last stop was a rest stop at the Ginger factory (30 mins). I think this should be in the tour, but sadly there was just time for a ginger ice cream and a toilet run or quick run around shop. I'd have liked to do the tour here shame it's not included in the tour.

Let the hippie in you be reignited

A truly fabulous market set amongst beautiful trees. Lovely clothes. Lovely food and lovely people. Set out early as the market gets very busy. If you take your own transport you have to pay for parking. It’s open on Saturday and Wednesday.

A good introduction to the area

The tour was good value for money for the range of locations visited in one day. The amount of time spent in each place was sufficient to experience what it was like without getting bored. Bruce is a good safe driver with excellent knowledge of the area.

Enjoyable day out

Your tour guide / bus driver ( Bruce) made the day out so enjoyable. Very informative, easy going and polite gentleman. A great day out under set timeframes to enable us to experience the number of stops within 9 hours. Great value and great experience.

FUN DAY!

This was a fun day! I enjoyed the entire experience! If I return, I will spend more time at the Eumundi Markets and at Noosa! This trip allowed a good first timer visit to both.

Brisbane and beyond

Eumundi markets could have spent more time there and at ginger shop. Enjoyed time at Noosa looked at a couple of shops out of my price range

A wonderful sightseeing trip!

We would have liked more time at Emundi Market, but know that it wasn't possible on such a long shore excursion. We had an excellent time and would recommend this trip to everyone.

A fun Sunshine coast trip

It was a good experience trip although the showers ruined the trip a bit. The tour guide was helpful and knowlegeable.

Fun day trip!

Brian was an excellent tour guide. The whole trip was also organised. It would have been better if we could have spent more time in the Ginger Factory than Montville, but other than that, everything is great.

A Disppointing Day Trip

The Sunshine Coast Hinterland and Noosa Day Trip incl Eumundi Markets was bit disappointing. We spent a long time on the bus with short stops. Unfortunately, it was raining the day we went so we weren't able to see the views at the Mary Cairncross Scenic Reserve as expected. In better weather we would probably have appreciated this stop more. The stop at Montville was a waste of time. We expected an artist village but the stores that were open had nothing original to see. We didn't have enough time there to explore too much so if there were orginal stores there, we couldn't find them. The Eumondi market, even in the pouring rain, was great fun. We would have been happy to spend another hour or two there. Noosa was fun (again even in the rain). But this was followed by the Ginger Factory, again viewed as a waste of time by our group. Some on the bus seemed to enjoy it though. Also, our leader, though very pleasant and knowledgable, would give information while pointing things out with an "over there" comment while everyone behind the first seat of the bus has no idea where he was pointing. So, not worth the money we spent. We wish we had rented a car for the day and had done it ourselves.
