Wonderful day.

Loved the variety of experiences. Of course, the Giant's Causeway is unforgettable. But I also liked seeing the caves and Castle Dunluce.

Highlight of my Northern Ireland trip

Amazing tour given by Patrick. He was such an amazing tour guide and very funny, too!!! One of the best tours I have ever had. I highly recommend this trip!!!

Great must do tour in Northern Ireland.

This tour was absolutely AMAZING. Patrick was our driver and tour guide and he did an outstanding job. This tour was well worth it. We ended up having a beautiful sunny day for the entire tour. The views of distant Scotland were amazing. The Giant’s Causeway and Bushmills Distillery did not disappoint.

Loved it!

The trip is beautiful, great sight seeing and stays true to schedule. Breath taking spots. Karl our bus driver did a fantastic job balancing on sharing great historical information and making in enjoyable. Truly amazed what a skillful driver he is. Great trip all over.

Stunning.

Absolutely beautiful! The views were magnificent and the walk incredible! The National trust does a great job keeping it safe. The natural formation of the rock is fabulous. Definitely go if you get a chance.

Brilliant day trip seeing Giants Causeway and other sights along the way!

Highly recommend this tour. It is very well organised and the scenery is beautiful. I’d recommend booking the priority seats so you get lovely unobstructed views whilst driving. Our tour guide, Stuart, was fantastic! He was so knowledgeable, telling us great anecdotes and stories about where we were going, as well as interesting history about Northern Ireland. He was very funny and had the passengers in stitches. An absolutely brilliant day out

Worth the price, recommended.

The driver/guide was friendly and knowledgeable. The scenery was breath taking, had we had nicer weather it would be an even more enjoyable trip. The bus seemed to have smaller leg room than other tour buses that I took during my trip, so it was not the most comfortable ride. I thought we had at least 15 min at Dunluce Castle, but we only got to take a 3-min photo time from far away, not sure whether it was due to the weather, as it was raining the entire day.

Giant's Causeway was a highlight of our trip to Northern Ireland. We also enjoyed all of the other stops on the journey. Stuart is a knowledgeable and entertaining guide as well as an expert driver of a large bus in tight spots.

Our driver Karl was the best! We enjoyed the day and would definitely recommend it to anyone who wanted to see a lot without stressing about driving themselves.

Natural beauty and enjoyable views

The Giant's Causeway is great place to visit, especially if you are a geologist. There is a visitor's center with a cafe, shop and information that is nice. There is a shuttle to the cliffs that costs a pound if you don't want to walk down or up the path. This was helpful for me because of a knee injury. It is fun walking around, but you need to keep your eyes on the kids because it is very easy to fall from a height. I arrived on a bus tour that took me through some of the Irish countryside, which was very enjoyable.

Amazing trip along Antrim Coast

Brilliant coach trip with McComb’s along Antrim Coast. Booking easy, coach comfortable, driver Karl informative & entertaining. Trip well timed with plenty of stops for sites, photos, comfort breaks & food. Highlight of trip Giant’s Causeway - incredible scenery! We had 1 hr 45 mins stop here so plenty of time (for first visit!). Itinerary gave a great introduction to this beautiful part of the world. Also appreciated Karl’s top tips for exploring Belfast. I’d not hesitate to book another trip with McCombs & Karl - many thanks!!

A trip over and above our expectations

Had an amazing day on our Giants Causeway trip with some beautiful scenery and historic stops on the way there and back. What made the trip special though was our Driver Karl’s informative knowledge with quips and anecdotes and clear concise instructions. We learned a lot and smiled a lot.

Giants Causeway Day Trip

Wonderful day trip! Stuart was super knowledgeable, friendly and funny. Also a great driver! The various stops were great - and Stuart pointed out all of GOT sites which was a fun touch. Tour lasted about 10 hours.

Great tour

Fabulous Giants Causeway and coast trip yesterday. Our guide was Patrick who was very knowledgeable and had the knack of even making his jokes sound like it was the first time he had told them ! We loved the scenery and all the places we stopped despite never having watched a game of thrones episode. Would definately recommend this trip

The Giants Causeway

Would highly recommend this trip ! Coach was there waiting when we arrived at the pickup point. Our driver and guide Patrick was fantastic. He gave us lots of information about all the places we visited and made sure everyone had a great time. The giants causeway was amazing ! Lunch was really well organised ( thanks again to Patrick). All in all, a great day out and well worth the money !

Great Excursion

Great way to see parts Northern Ireland in a day. We had the perfect amount of time at each stop to get some pictures and explore. Patrick was a great tour guide. I highly recommend this experience to anyone who wants to explore efficiently Northern Ireland in a single day.

Fantastic tour of the Antrim coastline

We had a great time on this coach tour on Wednesday 6 June. Patrick was an exceptional tour guide and driver. We really appreciated his quietly authoritative handling of a few loud passengers. All in all, this is definitely worth the price.

Giants causeway is a "giant must see"

The giants causeway itself was the highlight of the tour..the tour itself covered multiple places on the northern Irish coast...the driver/guide had interesting stories and commentary infused with typical Irish humor. Would highly recommend this tour..

The scenery was beautiful. A perfect snapshot of the Irish coast and countryside. Patrick was an organised and professional driver.

Awesome guide and brilliant day trip

We took a trip on June 6th, and our brilliant guide is Patrick. He’s pretty kind and humorous, telling us a lot of jokes along the way and a secret of his boss. Although there were more tourists than we thought, the atmosphere was quite relaxing and harmonious, and everyone was quite punctuated. The view of giant’s causeway is stunning! We enjoy ourselves pretty much with beautiful scenery and Patrick’s clear guidance!

Never travel with McCombs they are horrible

I was told we couldn’t get a ride to anyone that would see my son. The tour bus driver was kind but your co left us stranded and hung up on us

Gorgeous

This was an amazing tour. We've seen all the special places and it was outstanding. Special shout out to Rachel: it was her first day on the job and she was amazing. She is from this region and very proud of it. This reflected in the way she gave us background information. Absolutely briljant: she is a true asset to this compagny.

Great trip

Fantastic trip. Karl was a great driver, funny and very informative. Highly recommend the tour. It was a few days and we arrived back in Belfast at 630.

Karl is an AWESOME guide

Karl was our tour guide for the day (0830-1815); He must be McCombs best guide; He gave a lot of local lore, history, tips, and just plain knowledge of every area with an unmatched, friendly wit. Get to the starting location early so you can get a seat anywhere on the side behind the driver for the best views. Take advantage of this tour as one of your first activities, you will learn so much. Incredibly inexpensive for the activity...disappointing that most people didn't leave a tip for Karl after the tour end....show some gratitude people. Think about how hard it would be to drive a tour bus full of people around these tight roads while gaily telling stories and answering questions. Show your appreciation by leaving your tour guide a tip.

Patrick was an amazing tour guide & driver. We saw what was listed on the itinerary for the day & it was awesome!!

Excellent driver made an excellent tour

Our driver was very knowledgable in providing all the key points to each site we visited. He made the tour worthwhile by being extremely friendly, courteous and having a sense of humor. The bus was kept clean and our driver gave us the option of how long to stay at each site.

Well used tourist route

It was a long day starting at 08.30am with many stops at all the tourist spots. Our coach and many others too so often it was crowded. The giant's causeway was literally dotted with people so impossible to get photos with the crowds there. The coach driver was very informative and knowledgeable but difficult to hear with a full coach load of people from overseas talking over him.

Grand Day Out!

We booked a last minute Giant's Causeway trip this week. The company we had originally planned to go with was fully booked, along with our second choice. Turned out, this was a huge blessing! The tour starts earlier than the other companies (8.30am) therefore arrived at the locations first. Basics: coach comfortable with charging sockets. A rep outside their head office made sure everyone got on the right coach. Karl, The Legend, looked after us all day. If you have a choice, choose Karl! Karl's extensive knowledge kept us informed all day. But arguably, more importantly, his humour kept us thoroughly entertained! (Karl, thanks for speaking slowly for us non-Irish folk!) Route takes you throughout some glorious parts of Ireland, even if the weather wasn't always the best at times. The varied spots had something for everyone. The lunch stop was excellent (see our other review). Karl always offered alternative options at all stops, including lunch. Fantastic day out that showed some amazing spots, which has helped us plan our next trip. This tour does more stops than the others that I saw, at a very competitive price! (thank you SO much to the other companies for being fully booked!)

Great way to see the causeway and more!

This was such a fantastic trip. We saw so much more than just the causeway and learnt loads along the way. Our coach driver and tour guide Karl was so knowledgeable and definitely made the trip what it was.

Giants Causeway

I highly recommend this trip, Karl our driver and guide was fantastic. He told us loads of information about the area and Belfast. We enjoyed seeing all the sights, great day out with lots of good ‘craic’ We did lots of stops at picturesque places and then the Giants Causeway. Amazing! Karl always told you where the toilets were are what time to be back. So glad we did this trip.

Beautiful scenery. Large group of people on the bus and everywhere extremely busy. Would definitely advise people to visit the places we went to at a time of the year when there are less people. Karl our driver was very good and everything was well organised and planned.

Best day on our cruise

Our driver/ tour guide was the absolute best. We’ve been on many Viator booked tours and Patrick was number one. Organized a full bus full of people kept us on track and was very descriptive on the sights. Whatever you pay him isn’t enough. Thank you for a great day in Northern Ireland.

Great guide and location

A couple stops on the way up, very rainy but that's Ireland. Had a good amount of time at the causeway and was able to explore and do a walk.

Stuart was our driver and tour guide. He was excellent. He was friendly, knowledgeable, courteous and easy to understand. He was an excellent driver in the comfortable coach. I would definitely recommend Stuart and McComb tours.

Recommend!

This was a great tour of the northern coast of Northern Ireland! So beautiful and some great stops! We had a nice lunch stop and then 2 hours at Giants Causeway which was perfect! A few castle stops broke up the ride. Karl was a wonderful driver and had so much information! Recommend!

Wonderful Trip to the Causeway

An amazing place to visit and a relaxing scenic ride to get there! Our driver Patrick gave us a GRAND tour from Belfast to the coast, stopping to take photos and sharing interesting information about sites along the way! He couldn’t have been nicer or more considerate! Great day!
