The tour was a long one but wholesome at the same time. The tour guide Lisa is special, I enjoyed her tour and she literally spoke through out the tour and had a lot of interesting facts and stories about Northern Ireland. The driver Jim is a class man. My wife had not brought her jacket on tour and he offered his jacket to her as we were going the giants causeway.

Our host Andrew was great. All the stops were timely and fun. Loved the Dark Hedges and Giants Causeway of course. Thanks Andrew for making it so fun.

Game of Thrones and Causeway

The whole trip was great and lived up to our expectations. The causeway was breathtaking. Our guide was engaging, knowledgeable and entertaining. Would recommend this tour based on our experience.

Make Time for this Must-Do Tour

Stuart was our guide and did a fabulous job giving us both the history of Ireland as well as Game of Thrones. The coastline was beautiful and it was fun to walk through the Dark Hedge and down to the Giant Causeway. Would definitely recommend.

Fantastic tour

Exceptional tour with a great guide and driver-Karl. Really appreciated the time and effort made by the tour company but especially Karl who was knowledgable and approachable and made the toue such fun.

Great day with Stuart!

Our guide Stuart was great! Long day, but made enjoyable by the frequent stops so we were not on the bus too long for any given amount of time (until going back to the city after the causeway - which was over an hour away). It is a bit of a hike to each of the main sights, so plan on wearing walking shoes. Causeway was quite a hike down and back, so the shuttle may be worth it coming back up. Bring cash for the shuttle!

Not the most exciting tour but worth your time...

Pretty sure I read on the ad that we were able to go across the rope bridge ( which was why I chose to go on this viator tour rather than others) and was disappointed to learn it was off limits to people on tour buses.. Besides, the Dark Hedges was not at all like what the pic shows on your website.. It's almost like false advertising! Glad the tour ended with the Giant's Causeway which was quite a spectacle. Stuart ,our tour guide and driver, was informative and pleasant with us although he did show his impatience/ annoyance at certain drivers throughout the trip which I found not too great and which made me anxious being seated directly behind him on the coach. Not a bad tour on the whole but less exciting than I had anticipated.

Highlight of Trip to Belfast

Fantastic day trip to the Giant’s Causeway, Dark Hedges and other picturesque sites. Our guide was knowledgeable and made the trip so much fun!

Wonderful Experience

My daughter came over to Northern Ireland with me specifically for the Game of Thrones tour as we are both fans of the series. We both really enjoyed it and although it would have been nice to have a tour purely around the GOT filming sites, we wouldn't have got to see the Giants Causeway if that was the case. Stuart our driver and guide was very entertaining. Just one tip for improvement - I would have liked it if the actual scene from GOT being referred to was shown on the screen in the coach - would have added to the relevance but thoroughly enjoyed the day.

The whole journey was equally enjoyable. Stuart our guide and driver was exceptional and made the tour a true experience of Ireland.

Best tour ever!

We were bought the tour as a a wedding present and as avid game of thrones fans, we were very excited to go and see more of the filming locations & more of beautiful Ireland. Our tour guide Stuart did not disappoint! He was so knowledgeable and made the tour what it was. He had a great sense of humour and was always on hand to help. We also made friends with two other couples on the tour which was great, and they too felt it was an amazing experience. Can not recommend this tour enough to anyone looking to experience more of beautiful Northern Ireland whilst staying in Belfast.

The best tour experience. You should book it!

This is a great way to get out of Belfast to see the Northeast area. The tour went to the dark hedges, giant’s causeway, bushmills, and many other photo stops. The rope bridge was closed, so I think we made a stop at bushmills. Our tour guide was Gavin….If he is your guide you are in for a treat!!! He lively, funny, and a joy to be around. He gets to know everyone and had the whole bus laughing. Kieran the driver is amazing!!! He went around curves I didn’t think was possible in a bus. They both made the experience better and created great memories for us. If you do go on the tour and Gavin is your guide, please tell him, “1,2,&3 say Hello”.

Not GoT focused, but nevertheless great

We had a great time on the GoT/Giant’s Causeway Tour. Our guide was really more focused on the history of Northern Ireland as opposed to a GoT focus. He actually admitted that he hadn’t watched GoT. Honestly, that didn’t take away from the tour at all. We actually really enjoyed the history lessons and local legends/tales. The tour was quite well timed. Keep in mind that if you show up on time, then you’re already late. Our favorite part of the tour was Giant’s Causeway.

A very full day around Game of Thrones locations and the Causeway

After a very informal, slightly chaotic start to the day, at Irish Tours Ticket Office, on the morning of the half-Marathon, which meant some road closures and uncertainty about being able to get a taxi. (no warning from the Tour Office when I rang the day before) As we got started, the tour got better, thanks to Troy, our driver, and his excellent driving skills and good chat. The highlight of all the highlights of the day was the guided walk around the Giant's Causeway. The locations were fascinating with some funny and some informative banter from our driver, Troy. There was a stop for an optional cooked lunch that was served quickly and hot, in a slightly dingy pub/restaurant, excellent value for money. My adult son had his first actual Irish Guinness. Disappointing to not have the Game of Thrones expert that was promised and disconcerting to get the receipt from City Sightseeing for £33 less than I had paid Brit Movie Tours for the Game of Thrones and Giant's Causeway tour.

Giants causeway is great but this tour operator falsely promised 90 minutes at Carrick-A-Rede Rope Bridge.

Same as several other people this tour is not advertised correctly. I paid extra because I want the itinerary advertised. We should have spent 90 minutes at the Carrick-A-Rede Rope Bridge instead we were brought to Bushmills which did not do anything for me and was not interested in this part of the tour. I think this kind of false advertising is a really bad show. The bus driver and guide were good but the tour organisers know that they are misleading their potential customers. If the rope bridge is important to you, book with someone else.

Incredible day out!

Our tour guide Stewart or Sturt 😂 was incredible! He made the long day informative, enjoyable and humorous. What a great way to see Northern Ireland… cannot recommend enough!

Amazing Game of Thrones tour.

I went to this experience twice because i really loved the natural landmarks and Game of Thrones locations but the program is not correct, Carrick-A-Rede Rope Bridge is not included as it is somehow closed for coaches and accessible only by car. Anyway, the second time we visited 6 places but only 3 of them are in Game of thrones. In general, the landmarks we visited are amazing, especially The Giant's Causeway.

Misleading itinerary but still fun

My husband and I enjoyed this day out quite a bit. The locations were nice, and the tour guide did a great job describing the locations, telling stories, and overall keeping the whole group entertained. We would have liked a little more time at a couple of them, but those limits are understandable for a single full day tour. The biggest issue we had was that I had been quite looking forward to the rope bridge section of the tour, but we were not told until we were on the bus and had begun driving that it would not be included. According to the driver's report, the rope bridge was closed at the beginning of the pandemic and hasn't been re-opened since, which was well before we bought tickets let alone went on the tour, so shouldn't have been listed as included.

Beautiful trip highlight

This trip was the highlight of our visit to Belfast, the guide Stuart was absolutely amazing. As we made our way across Northern Ireland he gave us really interesting information about the sights around us. He told us funny stories about the area and even had props for us to use at the game of thrones lunch stop and photo op. Beautiful coastal drive on the way home - even though we are only here for a short time we feel like we have seen so much. Would 100% recommend to anyone. Thank you Stuart!

Brilliant full day tour!

Brilliant to see the real Ireland in all its natural beauty. Such an interesting tour, stops were well timed and all of interest. What truly made the trip was our wonderful driver/guide who really brought things to life with his knowledge and wit. What an asset!

Great addition to weekend visit

The tour took in lots of interesting sights and enabled us to see the lovely coast of C.Antrim. The whole area is beautiful and very quiet. Stuart the driver was excellent. Great way to combine some GoT sights with the Giant’s Causeway.

Fantastic Game of Thrones road trip.

Had an excellent day on the Game of Thrones coach tour along the Antrim coast. The Coach driver Derek was on top form with his enthusiastic dad jokes. He delivered multiple tales, some made up for entertainment purposes, but also shared an educational history of Northern Ireland’s turbulent past, which was very interesting. An energetic Storyteller who managed to keep all the passengers entertained for the duration of the trip, he ensured there was never a dull moment. A mix of humour and history as well as a descriptive Game of Thrones commentary, fantastic day trip! 🚌⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Great tour. Great expereince

The tour packed a lot into a day. So many sights and locations along the Antrim Coast. Very knowledgeable and friendly guide. A memorable day out. Ideal for fans and anyone who hasn't seen Game of Thrones. Whatever the weather take the trip. We had all different kinds of rain that day, but it added to the atmosphere.

Stephen amazing tourguide

Stephen the tour guide and driver was an absolutely amazing guy,he looked after us,explained everythibg,kept us entertained,amazing job and tour!The only sad thing is due to covid 19 we didnt walk on the bridge but everything else was amazing!

Great tour

This was an amazing tour and a great way to see more of Northern Ireland even if you're not a game of thrones fan. Our guide Steven was really knowledgeable of all the sights of the tour and kept the tour entertaining throughout. Would definitely recommend this tour to anyone

Great experience, highly recommended

The tour was fantastic! Our guide David's running commentary throughout was both informative and humorous, and the sights were memorable, beautiful, and well-chosen. The drive along the coast was especially scenic and almost worth the tour by itself. I had a great time even as a solo traveler, and I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to see some of the top sights in Northern Ireland. (As a side note, you don't have to be a GOT fan to enjoy this tour. I've never seen the show, but I still found each of the stops well worth seeing.)

Amazing and fun!

The whole trip was AMAZING! Our tour guide was AMAZING also! He was very informative and entertaining. Couldn’t have asked for better. The landscape is so beautiful and seeing where the movie was filmed was enjoyable to see. Highly recommended this tour!

Great tour even if you’re not a GOT fan.

Pick up point was very close to hotel, The Jury’s Inn, so that was great. Both Brian our tour guide and Davy the driver were great. As well as telling us lots about GOT and visiting filming locations Brian told us a lot about Irish History and folklore. Giant’s Causeway was amazing. A great tour well worth doing a lot packed into the day.

Great Day Out

We had a lovely day out, even if it rained for half the day. Enjoyed all the locations and the background on them. Our tour guide was lovely (sorry can't remember her name) and very informative. Definitely worth doing.

very interesting trip.

I did not expect much in the beginning but there are a lot of good scenery and interesting places. The bus ride is comfortable and the guide explained wonderful stories. if you want to know about whole trip, you go search my travel blog Hnin adventures and I wrote about the whole trip. Its just to help fellow travellers to know the idea and how long you need to walk for the places.

Excellent and not to be missed for GOT fans!

Everything was perfect, from the moment we booked to the welcome at the meeting point, to the tour itself. Andrew, our guide, was extremely professional, friendly and provided us with a lot of informations and "backstage" curious facts, having worked as an actor on the set. All the locations are breathtaking and well worth a visit!

Amazing

Beautiful tour and amazing host. Tour guide was an extra in game of thrones and had so much knowledge and was really fun. Love it so much (and I’ve never seen game of thrones).

Value Adventure

I cannot recommend this tour enough! For the price, admission to Giant’s Causeway and the Carrick-a-Rede bridge are included in addition to some of the the most beautiful filming locations of GØT, guided by a fantastic guide and extra on the show. Whether you are the biggest fan of the show or never watched an episode, this is the tour you want to take to immerse yourself in the beauty of Northern Ireland.

The absolute best!

Loved this tour so much, obviously was a fan of the tv series but it was more the locations I wanted to see. Our guide peter and driver fra where both hilarious and kept us all entertained the entire day. Great value would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Belfast!

GOT/ Giants Causeway

Amazing. I have not seen the GOT but my 2 sons told me I had to go on this tour. It was marvelous. The scenery along the coast was outstanding. Our guide Pete was quite knowlegeable and also threw in a few jokes and puns. He also had a bit part in one or two of the scenes. Naturally we had to get his autograph. Our driver Stuart was also vey good at manoeuvering the roads. Giants causeway was a wonder to see. It is also a must if touring Northern Island. Rope bridge a little iffy but also a must. Enjoyable for any age.

game of thrones magical mystery tour

we had the most amazing experience, my friend her daughter and myself we impressed not just by the scheduling of the day to pack in so much, but by the depth of knowledge of our guide and the friendliness of the both him and the driver, they made our day truly special. overcoming a few technical difficulties, we were told not just about our favourite GOT locations, but about the history and scenery around us. We can fully recommend this tour :)

Fantastic tour!

We thoroughly enjoyed our tour. Our guide, Andrew, was so knowledgeable and entertaining. Great to hear his experiences as an extra on the set. We visited the Giant's Causeway, the Carrick-a-rede rope bridge, the Dark Hedges and many of the filming locations. Andrew organised the lunch for us, we preordered and the food came very quickly and was good. The whole day was a real pleasure.

Excellent tour

Visited Belfast to visit Game of Thrones locations as I'm a big fan and found this tour online so booked to do this as well as renting a car and doing some locations myself. The tour guide Andrew was brilliant, gave plenty of information about both Game of Thrones and the general history of Ireland. He was also an extra for several episodes so gave us some stories about his experiences while on set. The locations themselves were amazing, especially the Dark Hedges, Giants Causeway and Carrick-a-Rede.

Game Of Thrones Filming Locations Tour in Belfast

This is a must do tour when in Belfast whether you are a G.O.T fan or not. The sites that you are able to see are incredible, from Giant’s Causeway to the Hedges, to the rope bridge (plus a few stops in between, it was an amazing experience. Our hysterical and incredibly helpful tour guide Brian truly made our tour. Along the bus ride in between stops, he did such a great job explaining the history of Ireland with a very humorous and entertaining spin!! Tim our bus driver also was lovely, offering up information otherwise would have been unknown. We had a great time and highly recommend it!

A Great Day in The North

This tour was a perfect blend wit, inside info on Game of Thrones, the locations (of course), and the natural beauty of the Antrim Coast. Tour guide Sharlene and driver Seamus were a perfect team.

GOT tour

Tour guide, Andrew, was wonderful! Enjoyed the tour, but would have enjoyed seeing the quarry more than the Carnlough harbor.
