Rainy walkabout in Barcelona

It was raining very hard and my family grudgingly went to meet up with our guide Chrisa. It turned out that only my family showed up and had a sort of private tour. She was very pleasant , energetic and very knowledgeable. We were glad we came out in the rain for this tour.

Magical history and archtecture tour

This was an amazing and insightful tour. Genuinely enjoyed every minute. Paulo our guide had deep knowledge of the history, lore and architecture of this absolutely magical city.

First time in Barcelona. This had to be done!! Onno is Very good at what he does. Very informed. It’s sort of like a crush course to Barcelona. U get to see all the important city corners you can easily miss otherwise …. Highly recommend. The hearing device is very useful… Happy😊👌🏽👍🏽

Not worth the money

I would never leave a negative review- but the tour was uninformative, inaccurate, overpriced. Our tour guide had just started giving tours in English as well, which was great- but for the price I would have liked someone more fluent, charismatic, and overall better at story telling. This tour was also worse than our free one. Additionally, the tour says that it’s about Gaudi but they barely even scraped the tip of the meaning behind his architecture, or even talked about his life. It was like she assumed we already knew everything about him. Overall, terrible- I wish I could get my money back.

Amazing tour

Had a thoroughly enjoyable tour with Melanie. She was so knowledgeable and nothing was too much for her. She was sweet and so kind. After the tour she then went on to recommend some places to eat on a budget and other sites to see.

We’ve been to Barcelona several times and wanted to get a refresher on the various neighborhoods….Las Rambles, Gothic Quarters, and where the Romans were located back in the day. At the same time, we didn’t want a tour that would chew up a big chunk of the day. Our tour guide, Melanie Olivia, did a fantastic job. Historic journey through the neighborhoods of Barcelona

Yannis was a fantastic guide, he immersed us in the history and Catalan culture as we walked the oldest and most significant neighborhoods of Barcelona. He also pointed out many architectural details that otherwise would've been over looked. The tour was fun and educational, I would highly recommend.

Highly educational!

I have been on many walking tours in many cities - this was probably the best walking tour that I've ever had. Yannis was phenomenal. He took us through the history of Barcelona in a highly engaging manner, while walking us through the old city all the way through to the newer parts of the city and several Gaudi buildings. He did a fantastic job of maintaining the group (not easy to do), and made sure that we could hear and had good shade throughout. He also had many suggestions for how to best enjoy the city. Please bring 1 euro per person for the headset rental and bring metrocards since there is a metro ride that is needed as part of the tour. This is probably the best "first tour" of the city since it introduces large parts of the city to tourists - then it'd be best to take a deeper dive into other areas that you learn about from Yannis.

Well Worth The Time!

We were a smallish group of twelve. Our tour guide Evan was great. Everything you would want a tour guide to be - well informed, fun, funny, vigilant and evidently enjoying what he does for a living. Excellent English which was a bonus. The headsets allowed us to all hear without straining. Also got to experience a brief Metro ride and realize that it’s a manageable system. It’s a great tour for those whose knowledge of history is only an inch deep!

5 Star Tour Company!

This was a great introduction to the city’s architecture, identifying the different styles and time periods for each. We saw many of the main attractions (La Rambla, some Gaudi buildings, etc) but also got to see some places a little more off the beaten path (Roman columns). Our guide Evan was very knowledgeable, engaging, and funny. The audio headsets ensured we could always hear the tour, even in busy areas. This tour did involve a train ride that they will help you get passes for if needed. There were not any stops where we could sit so plan to be on your feet. This tour company is small but amazing! If you’re short on time or would like a tour with even more historical content and storytelling, check out their Spanish Civil War tour. It was easily the highlight of our time in Barcelona.

Our walking tour trip was excellent ! Fun , answered all questions , had images of maps etc for more detailed explanations, began on time , was the best of all of our reservations. I would definitely recommend this tour as the beginning of your stay in Barcelona. If you have few hours or short of time to visit Barcelona you can have a glimpse of everything in this tour. La Sagrada Familia outdoor tour

Checking out the Sagrada Familia with our guide was awesome! He had a knack for making the detailed facades come alive with stories and insights. Each explanation, from the joyful Nativity Facade to the somber Passion Facade, was super engaging. It felt like he not only shared facts but really showed us what makes this place so special. Definitely a memorable part of the trip!

The tour was absolutely amazing. It consisted of fun facts, political and historical knowledge, so a great mixture of everything. My friend and I really enjoyed it and would always recommend it. Best of Both Worlds

Great tour! Lots of architecture history from the Medival times until the 20th Century. Really enjoyed seeing both sides of Barcelona.

Good overview of architecture

Good overview of a couple of spots in the city. Our guide Evan had a lot of good knowledge to share. Note that you need to ride the metro at your own cost so if you are on the fence about buying a family or multi ride ticket at another time in the trip, take this into account.
