A time back in time

We had a wonderful tour with Manu who explained all of the monuments in detail! He had a great sense of humor and made sure we got to do and see everything we wanted. I would definitely recommend the tour!

Manu was fantastic - Jewish moms perspective with a 10.5 yo

My daughter 10.5 and I went on this trip yesterday. Our group was so lovely and our tour guide Manu was so positive and great. All three towns and the picturesque stop were fabulous. Vic was cold so dress warm. Any town in the morning starts off colder than Barcelona and then by your second stop you don’t need to layer abd we sat outside for lunch comfortably. He had a restaurant he loved for paella that was closed for the holiday but we had great fish, ice cream, some paella, veggies and fruit at the buffet before bisalu and all drinks were included including sangria and my daughter sat with two lovely women in their 20s who were fantastic with her. Manu didn’t pressure anyone to eat in the same place and just wanted us to be happy. We are Jewish so seeing the mikvah was really important to us so we walked up the back end and could see through the window the oldest mikvah preserved from the 400s. You could spend all day walking through the streets of besalu. The Jewish preservations were smaller there than girona but there is one narrow street and preserved house abd some remains from the synagogue. After seeing the mikvah and his summary of how that defines a neighborhood helped clench my daughters appreciation for our history. The second medieval town was out of a story book too Paso?!?! The van was very comfortable and we had such a great day. We could have spent another hour just taking in everything but the trip itself did not move too fast .. we felt like we enjoyed it all. It’s just everything you see is so amazing. You can see the Pyrenese from a distance. We did girona the day prior on our own via train which was a nice intro before seeing Besalú as well. The churches in Vic are stunning. The churches in besalu were not reconstructed from the earlier erra to the same extent and were amazing as you can appreciate their simplicity and the ways they were constructed.

We had such a wonderful Medieval villages tour with Manu! He is very enthusiastic, knoweldgable, and positive! He has a very warm personality and his laugh and jokes are contagious. We were smiling and laughing all day long! Cant wait to go on another tour with Manu!

Best trip ever

Our guide, Manu, is very knowledgeable and humorous. The whole trip was fun and smooth. Even I traveled alone, but I felt like traveling with a family. He made everyone in the group so welcoming. I loved everything about this tour and will definitely join again when I am in Barcelona.

Awesome tour

Please for your best time in Barcelona.. beat the crowds head out to 3 amazing medieval villages and countryside with this tour. Our guide Miquel made sure everything was comfortably timed to enjoy everywhere went. Ending the day with an incredible meal at the beach in the most amazing village. It reminded me of Santorini, Capri, and Cinque terre... this is called Calella de Palafrugell. Sincerely The Emmons

Best tour locations and guide Miquel we have had. The unbelievable medieval villiages bit wow... time relaxing at the best small fishing village on the Mediterranean we've been to without crowds, loads of blue windless skies to enhance the day. Thank you for this memory Miquel. The Hendersons

Montserrat Barcelona with Miquel

We did a private tour with Miquel. He was a wonderful, witty, and very knowledgeable. He was good driver too. The pace that he went was perfect. My family really enjoyed our day touring Montserrat, Besalu and Tosa Del Mar.

Marvelous Miquel

Organized a private tour with Miquel after hearing from a colleague about their great experience. He showed us a wonderful time covering Montserrat, Castellfollit de la Roca, Belsalu, and Tossa de Mar. He brings great energy and is thoroughly informative, attentive and entertaining. Even with the traffic and motorcycles, his driving would be something his wife would be proud of! Miquel - thanks again for a great day. Decent Experience

The experience was decent overall. We had good company and saw areas outside of the city we wouldn't have otherwise been able to see and learn about. The reason for 3 stars is because we had a hard time understanding our guide's historical knowledge at points, the drive was WARM (I was sweating in the back seat with others) and because we arrived back in Barcelona much later than expected, making our evening plans more challenging.

Laughs and Discussions

We spent the day with Luis visiting four small towns with history from medieval times. He was very knowledgeable about Spain and had a huge repertoire of facts - mingled with some great stories. The day flew by - could recommend this tour enough!

A great day in Barcelona

We highly recommend this tour. The locations are beautiful, Our guide Arnau was knowledgeable, funny and attentive. The transportation was comfortable, the food was very good, even the weather was perfection :) It truly could not have been a better orchestrated itinerary.

Pasé un día grandioso en este recorrido super interesante, todo fue como lo esperaba: el traslado muy confortable, con tiempo en cada lugar para recorrer tranquila. Muy destacable la guía de Nuria que fue muy generosa con la información, muy didáctica para contar y muy cálida en su trato. Lo super recomiendo

Excelente excursión a pueblos medievales

Fue realmente una excursión muy ilustrativa de la vida y costumbres en los pueblos de l medioevo catalán. Muy interesante la vista de los volcanes catalanes. Siempre asesorados por nuestra guía Nuria quien nos trasladó en un cómodo vehículo y nos habló sobre historia y gastronomía catalanas. Imperdible !

Vale la pena este tour por completo

Excelente tour que hicimos, el día nos toco con sol y fresco. Conocimos lugares, personajes que ni sabíamos que existían, nuestro guía, el buen Oriol se portó magnífico, nos explico a detalle todo, sabe mucho de los pueblos que visitamos, nos brindaba tiempo por si queríamos visitar alguna tienda de recuerdos, el restaurante donde paramos a comer fue de primera, tiene las 3 b, bueno, bonito y barato. Aparte nos comento de otros lugares que hacer y ver en mismo Barcelona, una experiencia que la recomendamos.

Outra Cidade da Catalunya, construída no século X, tem 2500 habitantes, com muita influência Árabe, Romana. A ponte, a torre, o arco da entrada, suas ruelas, nos fascinam, encantam. Fica a 1 hora de Barcelona, inclua no seu roteiro, é linda demais! Dos filmes e livros, para vida Real.
