A Perfect Private Introduction to Gaudi and His Work

A beautiful day dawned in Barcelona as my husband and I began our incredible half day private tour with David. His knowledge about and passion for Gaudi - the man and his works - was infectious. David was prepared with images on his tablet to help frame the history and geography of the sites, and we traveled between each in style with the expert Tony at the wheel. Every detail regarding our tour was perfectly planned and seamlessly executed. Many thanks for the time and knowledge shared with us this visit. We hope to return to Barcelona, and will certainly seek David out for another adventure when we do!

So Meaningful

Loved our guide, our driver (definitely get the private car option) and the whole experience. Ester brought the Antoni Goudi experience to life in a meaningful way. She is extremely knowledgeable and passionate about Goudi, Barcelona, & Cantelonia. We booked this trip as the first thing we did on our first day in Barcelona and I am so glad we did. It set a great tone for our trip. Ester also made an excellent lunch reservation for us which we really enjoyed. The whole experience was something we will remember for the rest of our lives. David was incredible! He was extremely knowledgeable and showed us so many items of interest that we never would have seen ourselves! He made sure we didn’t miss a spot for a family photo. He is the best tour guide i have ever had and i highly recommend him!

Worth the Extra $$$

David was an excellent guide, well informed and very intuitive about our needs. He made sure that my wife was comfortable when she wasn't feeling very well. He created a skip the line experience at Sagrada Familia where it really does not exist. This one is worth it!!

Great half-day Gaudi tour!

We had a wonderful half-day tour of Gaudi's architectural highlights with David! He was so friendly and well-versed in the history of Gaudi and Barcelona! He thoughtfully planned our visits to ensure the fewest crowds, the best light, the most fun! His love of Gaudi and Barcelona was evident and infectious!

We had a wonderful time on our private tour. Our tour guide gave us so much information and history of all the sights. We loved learning and exploring with a guide and skipping the ticket lines.

Excellent tour of Barcelona

Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and it was definitely worth the extra $ for the private van service and tour. Our children are 21 and 19 and they really enjoyed it as well.

Absolute best tours we’ve had, anywhere. Extremely informative, but the best part is how much passion is behind it all. It is very apparent how much our tour guide, David, loves what he does. He has helped us appreciate Barcelona so much more than just the beauty on the surface. He provides stories behind the attractions and brings it all to life. His love for his craft oozes through and you can see the emotion behind his face explanations and storytelling. We had a tour our first time in Barcelona over a year ago and by chance happened to get David as our tour guide. We enjoyed it so much that we specifically booked him for two separate tours on this trip. We’ll book him always when coming to Barcelona and would recommend to anyone.

Phenomenal Gaudi Tour

We had the opportunity to visit 2 of Gaudi design homes, followed by Park Guell and then La Iglesia de la Sagrada Familia. The tour was exceptional. Our guide, Mercedes, was unbelievably well versed in all things Gaudi. She brought to life the life and times of Gaudi. She knew the intricate details of the Gaudi homes, as well as the other grand homes built during that era and how Gaudi's work differed and how it was received at the time. She started our tour of the Park by show the amazing detail and functionality of the aqueducts. She proceeded to the great arena and finished with the main entry views. Her tour structure left us in awe of the stunning work of art that is Park Guell. Finally, we went to the Sagrada. All that I can say is WOW,WOW,WOW. At every turn you are struck by the mastery of Gaudi. The light, stained glass light is almost overwhelming. Mercedes shared remarkable details of the project and it's construction. We end the tour with both of us in total awe. This tour was one of very finest we have enjoyed. We highly recommend it to any Gaudi enthusiasts. ]

What a wonderful experience!

This tour was amazing! Our tour guide Rosa was outstanding and tremendously patient, as we had 2 young kids. An air conditioned van picked us up from our hotel for a private tour of Gaudi’s best work. We loved Park Guell and we ended at Sagrada Familia. It was fabulous and a great way to see several amazing places without hailing cabs all day! Ask for Rosa!

Excellent experience.

Tayna really catered to my kids. Made it interested and had a lot of trivia questions. Her facts were interesting and we had a great time. Our driver was always ready to take us to the next location. We had a great time.

Tanya was amazing! She is an architect who is also a tour guide. Really appreciated her perspective and subject matter knowledge. Also, she did a great job of engaging my 13 year old son with interesting questions and having him find interesting symbolism throughout the tour. Highly recommend her and the tour.

David was very knowledgeable about my two favorite works of Gaudi’s. There were so many things of which I was not aware. David was very accommodating.

Fantatsic small-group guided tour of Gaudi masterpieces

We absolutely loved spending the day with David. Our small group toured Park Guell and then traveled by shuttle to the basilica of La Sagrada Familia, a magnificent work in progress that I have yearned to visit my entire life. David was knowledgeable and passionate about the architecture and history of our tour sites, down to the smallest detail. He gave personal, sincere attention to each member of our tour group. This tour was a highlight of our travels in Spain, and I would recommend it to anyone hoping to sample some of Gaudi's greatest works and the history of Barcelona.
