Accommodating and interesting!

Our tour guide, Brunella, was wonderful! She was patient with our children and even helped us by conducting the tour in a mix of Spanish and English. We appreciated her pacing and delivery of information to keep it interesting for an 8 and 10 year old. We would highly recommend her for this tour.

My family of 2 adults + 2 children arrived in Barcelona at 9am after a 7-hour overnight flight from the US. I booked us an afternoon tour allowing us the morning to shower & eat before pushing through the day to get us set to local time. Frederic was a fantastic tour guide, guiding us through the old part of Barcelona at our jet-lagged pace. The Iberico ham & Manchego cheese in La Boqueria food market was delicious as were the churros with dipping chocolate. We have already recommended this tour to friends who will be visiting Barcelona in the future!

Most memorable private tour

Julie was amazing with our kids who are 6 and 3 years old. The tour was centered around them; We were on a scavenger hunt to find dragons and other monuments around Barcelona that was so fun and education for adults as well. Julie was a walking talking encyclopedia about Barcelona’s history and current politics. The tour was 3 hours, packed with fun for our group of 2 kids, 2 adults and 2 seniors.

Diego went above and beyond with us. He is very knowledgeable and was great with my daughter. We (the adults) learn so much from him.

Ideal tour for families

Sharon was phenomenal! She was prompt and easy to communicate with before meeting up. My 4 kids of various ages were all equally engaged throughout the tour (10, 7, 4, 2). We included playgrounds and snacks at the boqueria for the kids to break it up for them. We learned so much! My husband loved the jamón, he can't stop talking about it.

Perfect tour for kids!!

Perfect tour for kids!! The adults and kids (age 7) in the family enjoyed learning about the history of the city, buildings and statues. Very kid friendly.

Great for kids & adults!

We took our 8 year old daughter, who has a short attention span, and she really enjoyed this. We covered a lot of ground and saw a lot of different hole-in-the-wall finds as well as some larger attractions. Diego, our guide, was super informative and did a great job keeping our daughter engaged. Well worth the value.

Perfect tour for family’s with young children!

Our family had the pleasure of experiencing the "Churros, Hot Chocolate & Games" tour with Jennifer, and it was simply exceptional. Jennifer's warmth and rapport with our children made the entire three-hour journey engaging and memorable. Not only did we savor the best churros and hot chocolate in town, but her extensive knowledge about Barcelona's sites added so much depth to our exploration. This tour is the ideal blend of fun, food, and history, especially tailored for families with young children. We left with full hearts and a deeper appreciation for Barcelona, all thanks to Jennifer. Highly recommend!

The goat market was...

The goat market was incredible. Julie was great!! She was so accommodating with my kiddos who were melting down due to the time change.

Diego was the best guide

Diego truly went above and beyond for our family. He made a connection with each of our 7 member party. He made us feel safe and was very knowledge. He managed to make a 3 hour walking tour in the heat so fun and enjoyable! He made the tour interesting for our 6 year old and kindly answered the million questions from our 67 year old. We’re so glad Diego was our guide. He was easily best part of our day in Barcelona.

Definitely worth your precious moments

Ivanna was truly great. She is smart, professional, no nonsense, and adaptable! If you are thinking about it, just do it. She will take you to places that no one really knows about, she will take pictures for you that no one really can, she will talk to your kids like no one has before.

Wonderful tour for families

We absolutely loved our tour guide (Adrianna). She was great with the kids, built in little rests/time at local playgrounds, and made games that interested the kids. She was able to keep the kids engaged while walking for 3 hours- no easy feat. And she gave us adults lots of great info and sights. Highly recommend!

Amazing tour because of our guides!

We were able to combine our tour with our friends since we booked the same time. We left our strollers but our guides were able to help us find a place to buy some along the way during the tour. They were very informative of the city and very kind and fun. Our kids enjoyed it a lot!!

Barcelona with kids

Adriana was a wonderful guide giving the adults AND the kids her attention. She tailored the tour to both age groups and parents and kids both had fun! Meat and cheese in the market were great! Churros with hot chocolate was a hit with the kids! I strongly recommend this tour to families with little ones!

Excellent City Family Tour!

My 7 year old daughter and I did this walking tour and it was the highlight of our trip! We felt we really got to know about the city, its history and culture in this 3 hour tour. If you're looking for a tour that is informative, but also geared for kids then this is it. We even had time along our tour to stop at a local park so that my daughter could play and be a kid. Jennifer is such a great tour guide. You can tell she genuinely enjoys what she does. Thank you Jennifer for such a great experience!

Barcelona Family Tour!

The well-organized, thought-out tour given by our tour guide Sharon was the huge highlight of our European vacation. When you only have half a day in Barcelona with your family I highly recommend this tour

Great pace for kids! Super fun!

Lucia was awesome! The whole family had a blast! The tour was very customized for the pace of the kids! If we need to take a minute to sit and enjoy something we did! It was great learning more of the history of each neighborhood too!

Disappointing

None of the following was provided. (Direct extract from tour description) - Churro & hot chocolate for kids - Food and drinks - Funny games for kids, with prizes - Iberic ham for adults Storytelling was poor. It was just a guide showing us where to walk. Both adults and kids did not enjoy the tour or learn much. Guide said we could contact the operator for a refund for the churros and hot chocolate (she said the churros shop was closed). No mention about the ham. But it has been almost 1 week and there is no response from the tour operator. Contact only via Viator app. Silence from tour operator. Totally not worth the price.

We learned a lot about history of Barcelona and had a good time. our guide did a great job. We were able to see a lot in a short amount of time.

The BEST tour guide of all our excursions!

Jennifer was terrific. This was our best tour. Highly recommend! Perfect for 3 generations. I would hire her again even if I didn’t have kids with me. C

Amazing tour with Jen! I can not say enough great things about her and the tour!! She was well informed and great with our kids.

Just ok

The tour was fine - we did stop at each point on the itinerary (except the market - La Boqueria - was closed as it was Sunday) and our guide did pull out a Spanish words list treasure hunt sheet at one point but it all felt a bit unprepared (our guide kept having to Google things?!) and not especially kid-friendly/ oriented. I wouldn’t recommend it.

Disappointing

It started out well enough with our guide Paolo helping us to get to the meeting point when Google Maps put us a little off the mark. And he recognized that my 12 year old might not be the “kid” age he was expecting but at least offered him to participate in searching for landmarks. Our guide talked a bit while we stopped at a few places but stopped sharing much of any details as the tour went on. He was pleasant enough but it seemed as if he was a distant relative who was forced to take us around town on his day off or something. He never once asked if we needed or wanted to change anything and it felt like we were just getting dragged around town. I could have learned more on my phone than I did on this tour and that was very disappointing. Most of the content that he did share was about political turmoil (an important and necessary share) but had few topics to hold my son’s interests. I can’t recommend this tour to families as it falls very short of expectations and previous experiences of private tours geared towards families.

Jenny was amazing!

We took several tours while on holiday in Europe and this was the absolute best. Jenny, our tour guide, was amazing. You can tell she really enjoys her job and loves Barcelona which enriches the tour. I was really impressed with how she kept my 11 y.o. with ADHD engaged the entire time. He had so much fun and is still talking about the tour. I highly recommend this tour (especially if you have kids) and to ask for Jenny.

SO worth it!

We had a fantastic day with Jennifer! She engaged our kids while still giving us the history of the things around us. And the food along the way was delicious! Great mix of both worlds, we are so glad we booked this private kids tour! Our kids are 6.5, 4.5, and 3.

Great way to see Barcelona with Kids

Jennifer was absolutely fantastic. Not only did we see a wide variety of sites but she was phenomenal with kids. We learned a lot about history, legends, played games and had a great time. We took our 6,4, & 3 year old and the loved all 3 hours of our time on the tour.

Great tour guide - fun and flexible experience

Holger was an excellent tour guide with great energy to keep the kids entertained and interested for the entire experience and treasure hunt! Kids absolutely loved it. Very knowledgeable and so much fun. Also very flexible depending on your children's preference...diverting to a beautiful old library because my daughter is obsessed with books and stopping at a cute little playground so mummy could consume a coffee and rest while the kids played happily in the park. Nothing was too much trouble. Great tour, fun and flexible which is exactly what you want when exploring the city with kids of different ages. High recommended

Jenn was our tour guide, she was amazing and was on time! She made sure to keep my daughter entertained the entire time and was very knowledgeable. My daughter and I learned a lot about Catalonia and the city of Barcelona as a whole. She was very patient with us as my daughter needed frequent rest breaks. Excellent for all aged children, especially the ones that are usually bored!

Jennifer was absolutely wonderful! My 10 yr old daughter is usually very bored with tours and has to be bribed to engaged. She genuinely enjoyed her day with Jennifer, learned a lot, and felt like she made a friend. The experience was 10/10 and I highly recommend if you want to learn about the city, its history, art, architecture, food, and culture. The pace was perfect for my 3 and 10 yr olds and we still covered so much!

Great intro to Barcelona

Jennifer was awesome. She walked us around through the different sections of Barcelona and taught us the history involving the Christians, romans, Jews, Arabs, and Christopher Columbus. We had got to see the market which was gorgeous and had treats while we were there. The churro stop was delicious.

Wonderful tour of a fabulous city!

Don't hesitate to book this tour. It was a wonderful way to experience a fabulous city. The tour guide adjusted content to interest our teenager. Very satisfied.

Good mix of culture and fun for the family

This walking tour was great!! Sebastian is a great guide, he shared his knowledge of the culture and history of the city, and was very interactive with our boy. We played games along the tour that kept him really engaged. Highly recommend this Family Tour!

We were disappointed with this tour and company

It was a nice start with the lovely and nice Betta as a guide. She had a good contact with the kids and a nice game with pictures for our 9 years old. The good ends here. We walked around Barcelona for 3h and unfortunately received almost no information on history, architecture, cultures, arts... nothing. When I book a private tour it is to receive some information and learn about the city. We could have walked around the city for 3h on our own and have learned more on our phones. I contacted the company just after the tour to let them know my disappointment, and no one even replied back to me yet (more than a week now). I could not suggest this company.

Intéressant et chouette -- Je recommande vivement !

Milena était parfaite avec nous. On a déambulé à travers de chouettes quartiers, et mes enfants ont du participer à une recherche de "trésors" (fontaines, lampes, etc.). Une façon très chouette de les emmener en les motivant. Je recommande vivement ! C'était la première fois que je faisais ce genre d'activités, mais certainement pas la dernière. Et, la prochaine fois, au début de nos vacances, pour mieux appréhender la ville dès le départ.

Pas pour les enfants

Visite simple pas du tout adaptée aux enfants, pas de jeux,... Ma fille était très dessus au vu des autres commentaires
