Barcelona - Fantastic food!

Must see - Sgarda familia - make sure you buy tickets directly otherwise you will find like me that your ticket is not valid( bought mine from top tours) The weather lovely - restaurants, squares ,markets, shops very nice …. Locals are not that friendly but all in all great experience. Must do sunset boat ride and cable car ride. All great!

Tour Guide Julie

Julie was one of the most informative and sweetest tour guides I’ve ever come across. You can truly feel her passion about history and my daughter and I have learned so much with her. She goes at a perfect pace and is very interactive. You should all definitely go and have a tour with the wonderful Julie!

Great tour

The tours were great only complaint is there is no transportation between the two locations. Both guides were great and informative.

Tour of Two must-see places in Barcelona!!!

We had a very good experience on this tour. We had Julie as a guide through Park Guell. The tour was great, but be aware there will be lots of stairs (uneven stars made of natural stone). The park is gorgeous though- absolutely recommend going (in non-skid shoes.) Miguel was our guide through Sagrada Familia. He was excellent and pointed out things we would not have known or noticed otherwise. This was also excellent- an absolute must-see!!!

Very Informative Guell & Sagrada tours

Guides were informative and fun for both Guell and Sagrada. Sagrada guide was very good at explaining all the details of Sagrada that would have been totally missed had we gone on our own.

Sadly disappointing

The Sagrada Familia tour was great but we missed Park Guell because we were dropped at the wrong entrance. By the time we got to the right entrance we were past time of the tour and were never able to locate the guide. The phone number didn’t work when calling from a US phone on an international plan. We asked a park employee to help. She tried calling from her phone and was able to get through. She said this kind of thing happens all the time. We pleaded with City Wonders, the company leading the tour to contact our guide but they just kept apologizing that they couldn’t help us. They claimed they tried calling but there calls received at the time they mentioned. I’ve been contacted while in Spain by other touring companies via phone so I know it wasn’t my phone that was the issue. When we asked for a refund they refused. It was very frustrating and the only way you get into the park is with a ticket that the guide had. This is not the type of service I would expect from a touring company, especially when all of the other tours through Viator have been so great.

Fun tours

Our guides Isabella and Miguel were knowledgeable and entertaining and added a greater depth of experience to our trips. We had a really great time. Miguel was v funny but also full of information. Isabella was lovely and so passionate about the history of the Sagrada Familia. Thank you x

Our tour experience in Barcelona - Dec 2019

We enjoyed the tour at the Sagrada Familia. We believe it is worth it considering the crowds to have it organized with a tour guide and fast lane. Regarding the Park Guell, it was not worth what we paid since the entrance to the area of the park that everyone visits is only 10 euros. Even if you pay for a taxi to get there and come back it is not worth the 100+ euros we paid. Furthermore the guide does not even stay with you the entire visit. They spend 10min telling us about the history of Mr Guell and the park and then leave. The rest of the tour is on YOUR OWN.. Bottom line if you have to spend money, just do it on Sagrada Familia... that is it.

Great guide, sublime tour!

I highly recommend to take a tour with this company if you are in Barcelona! Everything was accurate since the beginning of the tour: the guide with the flag of the company was easy to find in the big square and we got really fast into the church. Our guide was extremely knowledgable and explained every detail very clear to us. We are in love with the Sagrada Familia! Thank you City Wonders!

Great visit, awesome guide

I went to Barcelona with the family and I have booked the tour with city wonders, what an amazing city and it was great to discover it with Ioanna, we could tell she was very knowledgable and friendly (she even took some great pictures of us in Park Guell), really it was a great experience, we sure recommend the city and specially the tour, thank you for everything.

A wonderful day in Barcelona with Elisenda

We had no idea what to expect in Barcelona, but thanks to Elisenda it turned out to be one of the best days of our trip. What an unexpected surprise! Our expert guides took us comfortably and safely to many places like Park Guell and Sagrada Familia. They picked us up and left us with a lot of time and carefully monitored our time and traffic throughout our day to make sure we got back to our ship on time. We learned a lot about the history, people and city wonders of catalonia and we highly recommend this cruise port or this company, and especially Elisenda!

Convenient Service!

So glad that we booked this tour by City Wonders. We visited on a Monday morning and found that the Fast Entry accommodations came in handy as there were long lines for both the Sagrada Familia and Park Guell if we hadn't been with a group. Our tour guide was pleasant and knowledgeable, you could tell that she really cared about what she was talking about. Our tour group was small and intimate, we probably had a total of 10 persons in our group - 5 couples. I appreciated the fact that this tour wasn't too rushed and had lots of free time to explore on our own and take pictures at both locations. When researching which tour to go with, it didn't look like other tours gave you this extra exploring time. The shuttle van provided to us from Sagrada Familia to Park Guell was small and perfect for our small group. The only reason I didn't give a perfect score to this tour was the location of the Departure Point, which is pretty much in front of the Sagrada Familia. You will need to walk up the street to get there, as cars and taxi's must drop you off a street away as there is no car access directly in front of the church. Being that we were staying in the Placa de Catalunya area, which is the tour Point of Return, it would make sense that the tour Depart from there as well. But instead, had to find our own transport (taxi) to the Carrer de la Marina meeting point in front of the Sagrada Familia. Other than that, I would still recommend this tour for your Sagrada Familia and Park Guell visits as both are a fair drive away and the transportation made it convenient for us to schedule.

Intimate Informative Tour

A great tour with an awesome guide. Miguel was fantastic. He is very knowledgeable, well spoken and enthusiastic. The smaller group made it very easy to stay connected and really embrace the tour - we learned so much!

Awesome experience

Miguel was excellent, he manages the informal precisely, his English is on point and he kept us awake during the whole tour. Way to go Miguel!! Park Guell is a fascinating place and the Sagrada is just astonishing.

Huge disappointment

Nine months ago we scheduled tour of Sagrada Família and Park Gruell which was supposed to occur today. To our dismay we were informed that our tour was cancelled. After speaking to citywonder representative both at the meeting spot and via telephone we were lead to believe that the facility had been closed to the public starting in the afternoon unannounced and to the surprise of tour staff. This puzzled us as we could clearly see that public members were still inside the grounds. We spoke to a Sagrada Família staff member at the grounds entrance and showed them our voucher. She explained that the grounds were not closed as our guide had informed us and that in fact City Wonders were at fault as there was no 200 pm tour times that even existed on the schedule.

Well worth the investment

We were able to access the Sagrada Familia and Park Guell very quickly. Our tour guide, Arantxa, was so enthusiastic and knowledgeable about both attractions. Her passion and love was palpable. She also offered great insight into the community, where to eat, where to go and how to best take advantage of our stay in Barcelona. She was absolutely wonderful!

Great experience overall, highly would recommend

First and foremost I would like to thank our guide, Arantxa, for taking what was bound to be a really great experience and making it a truly fantastic one. The passion she spoke with in all aspects of the tour was very cool to be a part of. Overall Sagrada Família was incredibly impressive and something that isn’t really fathomable unless you see in person. Park Güell was also really wonderful and gave us some sights that we won’t ever forget. Don’t think, Go!

The Only Tour Disaster We Had in Spain

City Wonders aka City Dream Breakers henceforth, cancelled the second part of our Sagrada Família/ Park Guell Tour with zero notice. Arran, the last-minute substitute guide for Sagrada was given the unenviable task of telling those who had signed up “that the Park tour was cancelled per the previous day’s email.” Nobody in the group received an email. City Wonders was obviously understaffed. My wife and I - who are in our 70’s - took a taxi to Park Guell in the hope we could get in but all the tickets were sold out and we left Barcelona next day without visiting the Park. City Wonders refunded the second half of the trip fee and offered us a $100 voucher towards our next Barcelona tour - which we rejected as at our age, there will not likely be another tour. There are plenty of reliable, dependable and trustworthy tour companies in Barcelona. This one destroyed our Barcelona plans and broke our dreams, so keep looking.

Excellent choice to see Gaudi in Barcelona

Interesting tour, very informative and well organized, friendly guide and driver. We enjoyed the day of sightseeing Sagrada Familia and Guell Park.
