We all had a great time. The Captain was well qualified, polite, and helpful and the sailboat was terrific. He had good snacks and a nice variety of drinks for everyone.

Fun and sunset at sea

Fantastic outing with a great guide

Our whole family enjoyed sailing around Barcelona with Jorge and his son Oliver. They were wonderful hosts and Jorge shared interesting information about the sights and the city. We were especially thankful for Jorge’s accommodation of our family when circumstances caused us to be late for our initial booking time. He worked with us to find a better time so that we could really enjoy ourselves. The boat was comfortable and the ride was thoroughly fun and relaxing with plenty of space for our family and the other on the trip. Highly recommend!

It was the perfect two hour sail. Captain Jorge was great his 50 foot vessel was beautiful. And his hospitality was appreciated.' Perfect way to get the layout of Barcelona from the sea!

Jorge was wonderful! We were fortunate to be the only couple on the trip which made this more personable. Great refreshments and snacks plus my husband really enjoyed taking sailing lingo with Jorge, who also provided us with some non touristy type places to check out. Great experience!

We had a wonderful time on Jorge's boat. He knows the city and the sea and was the best host. It's a beautiful boat and very comfortable layout. We would highly recommend using him.

Gentleman George

This is a definite five star experience. George the Skipper is such a gentleman and made us feel most welcome. The trip was as advertised with snacks and drinks on board. George spoke to us through the trip and highlighted landmarks and the background to Port Olimpic. It was a pleasure.

Our afternoon sail with Jorge was both beautiful and relaxing. Jorge provided helpful info to find our starting point and was friendly throughout our trip. Recommend this outing for those who seek a serene outing rather than a "party cruise".

Lovely small group sailboat outing

What an absolutely lovely way to spend an afternoon in Barcelona!!! The sailboat was very roomy, there were 11 people, and the captain was very personable, informative and kind. Drinks, snacks, and great relaxing music were all included. We loved this tour!

Geeat family trip

Great family trip! We were together with an other family and it was very relaxed. The boat was clean and very well maintained.

Relaxing, Great Views, and Accommodating

Jorge is an amazing guide and person. My friend and I were running 20 minutes late, after we spent almost 20 minutes finding a taxi. I told Jorge to move forward with the sail, as we didn't want to hold up any other passengers that were already on the boat. Jorge offered to do the sail at a later time that day, which we thought was so generous, seeing as how he had no fault in the matter - it turned out the other person on the sail had no problem waiting, and Jorge even spoke to our taxi driver to tell him exactly where to drop us off so no more time would be wasted. Once we arrived at the boat, snacks and drinks were offered (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) and we left right away. Jorge is extremely kind, accommodating, and knowledgable - we felt completely at ease with him and with the sail. The views were amazing, and the experience itself was very relaxing. I would definitely recommend the experience to a friend!

A beautiful day on the Mediterranean Sea

It was a beautiful day on the Mediterranean Sea. We enjoyed the relaxing afternoon, soaking up the sunshine and the view of Barcelona coastline. Our skipper was friendly, but did not provide a guided port tour as well as live commentary en route as promised in the online description. Jorge answered any questions we had about the buildings or the area, but otherwise he was quiet.

Sailing on the Mediterranean with Jorge

Jorge was an amazing captain! All the 5 star reviews he has gotten are accurate! We will be sailing with him for all our Barcelona sailing trips in the future and recommending him to all of our friends. Highly recommend!

AMAZING Boat ride!!!!

Jorge was absolutely the best guide ever. Snacks and drink were provided. The most spectacular views I’ve ever seen. I felt as if I were living in a dream. I unfortunately got sea sick but Jorge was so understanding and helped me through it all. Kindest person I have met on the trip and best thing I have done so far. Truly a spectacular boat ride. It was gorgeous

Motor cruise and vineyard

Dennis the Captain was amazing the boat was fabulous the people are wonderful but in reality this is not a sailing experience it is a motorboat cruise from one position to another against the wind which makes it fairly rocky. The vineyard was incredible and the wine tasting superb. Apart from several clients getting seasick it was a wonderful day and highly recommended but just don’t expect there to be any sailing. Anyone who sails will understand, if you aim to go from point A to point B when the wind is directly towards you you will never do it within a time constrained framework

Exceptional, intimate yacht experience

We had an amazing experience! Jorge was very generous and made us feel at home on his boat from the very start. Brilliant host which made the views of Barcelona even more enjoyable. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a tailored experience of Barcelona!

Fantastic

I would highly recommend to book this you will not be disappointed. Jorge is a lovely man and made this the best birthday experience I have ever had. There was drinks and snacks provided. You are allowed to go and sit at the front of the yatch to enjoy the view. This was my highlight of the trip. Thank you for a wonderful experience Jorge.

Horrible experience

My last sail with Jorge was a horrible experience. He forced me to take care of other guests and to steer the boat, even when I told him repeatedly that I did not want to. I had sailed with him a number of times before, when I volunteered to help him. But over time he became more exploitative. He expected me to do things when I was a paying customer. This is not the right way to treat people. I do not recommend booking with Jorge.

Private Tour frm SIR GEORGE

This guy George is an awesome sailor!!! I have to truly say thx George he took my wife and I, out sailing on a kinda private tour (just the 2 of us) in the Mediterranean showing us the site giving us great information about how to enjoy Barcelona. We were the only two and he didn’t cancel on us … I greatly appreciate that it gave me a chance to give my wife a lifetime experience as planned .. drinks snacks were included and his knowledge and hospitality were impeccable! This easily is a tour you should take and enjoy! It was worth the experience and we travel quite often, Egypt, Rome, Athens just to name a few … and George really stood out to me very friendly and we were all smiles afterwards. Took his advice and went up the mountain thanks again George!!!!

Very nice sailing trip, enjoying BCN skyline

Very nice trip. Been to Barcelona many times, but seeing the city from offshore is really a nice experience. Great skyline and nice spotting of luxury yachts in BCN harbour. Lucky with the weather; a very sunny October afternoon in easy sailing conditions. Trip was well organized. Departure on time, instructions very clear. Skipper Eduardo is very experienced and friendly and entertaining. We shared the boat with another family (so 10 passengers in total). Drinks and tapas available. Unlike other reviews that I have read, passengers do have total freedom to choose their spot in or on the boat (although suggested to remain upper deck if the sea conditions require so, which makes totally sense to avoid sea sickness) We had full opportunity to participate in the actual sailing and navigating behind the steering wheel, which was big fun. Children liked it too (even felt sorry that we had to return to the dock already).

Memorable

This was a lovely experience from start to finish. The skipper was excellent, friendly and warm and we all loved the drinks and snacks provided. I enjoyed meeting new people from Ireland and USA . The sunset was amazing and memorable.

A pleasant surprise!

This was a very memorable experience. The boat was beautiful! The meeting point was convenient. The captain was such a nice guy!!! It was such a perfect way to see the city from the sea. The snacks and drinks were pleasant. We booked just an hour in advance as other plans fell through and it was a pleasant surprise. I highly recommend!

My partner and I had an amazing time on this boat trip. The boat was clean, spacious and very comfortable and we were provided with drinks and nibbles throughout the 2 hour journey. The captain Jorge was super friendly, fun and chatty. He sent clear and concise instructions with photos the day before the trip which made it easy to find the meeting point. The group was small too which made for a relaxed environment. The trip involved a round trip out of the harbour into the open ocean, and we were lucky enough to spot a mola mola fish by the side of the boat! Definitely would recommend.

Great way to see the Barcelona Waterfront

The Cruise was very pleasant and everyone was fun and sociable. It was a little strange though that we were required to put our things below deck, then discouraged from going below deck, and if we wanted to use the toilet needed to tell him first. As a result, no one went to the bathroom and no one took any pictures except one guy who had his phone in his pocket.

Relaxing with new found friends.

Capitan Jorge was very knowledgeable about the city of Barcelona. It was very cool to get to see the city from the water. The boat was nice and comfortable. The selection of drinks and light snacks were good. The water was slightly rough the day we went out and the boat handles the waves well and Jorge is an excellent captain. He’s calm and easy to talk to. He was also concerned about how we were feeling with the waves. It was nice to see him being proactive instead of reactive. If you like sailing, this is a nice relaxing two hour cruise that was worth it.
