First time visit to Barcelona made memorable.

The views at Montserrat were incredible, and Parc Guell and the Sagrada Familia were awe inspiring. If given a choice, buy the tickets for Parc Guell- it is worth the money. This was a wonderful company to work with. Marc Jacobs and his crew in the office were very responsive in helping me to plan this excursion. Our driver, Alphonso, was great, and our guide, Marta, was incredible. I really appreciated how she discussed the imagery in the Guadi works. Thank you everyone for a memorable day.

Best day of our trip to Barcelona

Fantastic day with perfect weather. Marta was an expert and took us first to Monserrat to beat the crowd. Fresh mountain air meets spiritual awakening. We had virtually no lines anywhere. We couldn’t get tix for Sagrada Familia but Marta took us to a lunch place where we could see it in full view. Park Guell was magical and a great way to end the day.

Great customer service

We booked this tour coming off a cruise ship. The morning of, I received a text that the tour time had been changed to a half of an hour earlier. I replied that I had to wait to disembark the ship. I also received a phone call, about an hour before my scheduled time. The representative was extremely nice and told me the Monserrat tickets had been changed unexpectedly, and someone would be waiting to pick us up at the cruise terminal. We were leaving the ship (at the originally scheduled time), and received a call that the tour would have to leave without us in order to make the Monserrat tour for everyone else. the company provided us a ride to our hotel, and picked us up so we could continue on the second half of the tour. They were very apologetic, and helpful. They also refunded half of the amount of the tour. The tour of the city was very educational, and the guide was exceptional. I would highly recommend.

Ask for Martha

We were met promptly at our ship by Martha, the fabulous tour guide. Her English was without accent! The whole day was long but covered important sites and helped orient us to the city. At the end we were dropped off at our hotel. No need for a cab. I can’t say enough about this excellent company, and how much I loved knowledgeable Martha. Ask for her!

We had good communication with Viator for this tour and pick up at ship went well. Our guide Marta was so informative. All the sites we saw were great. Nice having a small group. I would recommend this tour as it made our stay in Barcelona very enjoyable.

Great tour of all things Barcelona

We had limited time so this tour checked many of our boxes. Our guide Ricardo was fantastic…both personable and very knowledgeable/willing to answer questions. He even made an impromptu churro stop when the kids got excited about the idea. Pay the extra for Parc Guell admission and Sagrada Familia. Highly recommend the tour and Ricardo!

Did not get what promised

First they were not able to pick us up at the hotel so we met them at a meet spot they decided. I received a text that morning that I owed 20 euros for the trip which they will email me. Since I have no internet that did me no good and they claimed for tickets that were already paid for. So I thought ok maybe I missed something. At the Monastery I had told them we wanted tickets to see the Black Madonna which I was told they would obtain for me. When we got there I was told we have no tickets to see the Black Madonna we only have them to view it from the chapel over 500 feet up. So we had to buy those tickets. We then were the Park Guell Viator notifies the tour guide we now ow 30 euros. When I asked how it went up 10 euros in 3 hours there was some text about tickets but they did not buy any other tickets. They said they will email me when again I told them I do not have internet which does not matter to them. We get to La Sagrada Familia church which they were to get tickets for us to go inside after the tour. Surprise no tickets I showed the tour guide the email they were to get the tickets and she said she is just the guide . She text them and they said they knew nothing about it even though they said they were getting the tickets but don't forget to get the 30 euros from us. We have always used Viator in every country we visited but this will be the last time we use them with this kind of business practice. They ruined the entire tour with their incompetence. The tour guide was very good caught in the middle of this mess, They just lost a good customer and I will not hesitate to post online the disaster of both tours I booked with them.

Excellent day tour!

Christian was fantastic. He was on time at the hotel, took us first to Montserrat where we were able to get tickets to see the black Madonna and stopped for photos along the way. Christian is originally from Germany but loves in Barcelona now and really knew the places to visit. He took suggestions from us but also provided many excellent recommendations. We saw several Gowdi homes and had lunch in a local restaurant that we really enjoyed. We had been to La Sagrada Familia the day before so he instead took us to see other sights in the city. The tour was great. We thoroughly enjoyed it.

Great tour, Mark was excellent

Great tour. The tour covered a lot of interesting history of Barcelona. Our tour guide, Mark, was great. He was very patiently communicating with us and guiding us through the whole tour from booking to the actual tour. Our hotel zip code was listed wrong on Viator website. But Mark made extraordinary efforts to find us and called taxi to take us to the meeting point. Really appreciated it very much. We would highly recommend this tour company.

Informative, But...

Gaudi highlights La Sagrada Familia Basilica and Guell Park were well presented and the visit was worthwhile to each, including the inside tour and museum at the church. We pre purchased timed tickets to skip the lines at the church. Visit to the monastery at Montserrat felt rushed and less informative. The funicular to the highest point was not operating and time would not have allowed hiking at the summit. Driving on a bus to present highlights of Barcelona was frustrating because there was only one stop (panoramic view). The tour started late because of some participants and ended earlier than advertised. The tour guide was well informed, pleasant and helpful.

Great way to see a lot in one day

I booked this tour as a shore excursion because it had great reviews and was way more affordable than the cruise ship tours. I was not disappointed. In Monserrat, the guide gave us the lay of the land and then plenty of free time to explore on our own, which was great for me as I have some mobility issues and walk slowly. This place is gorgeous, especially the views of the mountains. In Barcelona, we saw a lot both from the bus and on the ground; it was a nice variety and the tour guide was very knowledgeable. I preplanned with the tour office to skip inside of Park Guell as that was too much walking for me and they graciously gave me alternatives for my free time in that area. I felt like they were very attentive to my needs, which is rare in my experience. I highly recommend this company!

A good private ship tour

We were involved in a private tour from our ship. A group of 8 people. We were picked up in a very comfortable mini van and we had a very knowledgeable and friendly guide. She first took us for a great view over Barcelona before we headed to a view of Sagrada Familia which we walked around( outside only). Such interesting info provided. From here we headed to Parc Guell and visited inside stopping along the way to look at buildings also designed by Gaudi. And then to Monserrat. Definitely a full day but we were back to the ship on time. Booking process was easy. We would use these guys again

Our guides, Ricardo for Montserrat and Paula for the Barcelona highlights tours were very knowledgeable and spoke excellent English. They made the tours interesting. We had our tours booked and airport pick up when our flights were changed on us. Barcelona Day tours switched our tours and pick up to accommodate us. We would use Barcelona Day tours again

Excellent tour with an outstanding guide!

Our group of 6 people took the "Barcelona City Tour and Montserrat" with Marta who was our excellent guide. She covered everything on her itinerary with professional and very friendly courtesy. She kept us engaged and on course all day. There was not a question that she could not answer. We liked her very much, and also her driver Joan, who did a wonderful job navigating the city. Fantastic experience even when dealing with the unexpected

Had a wonderful experience working with the company. We used them for airport and cruise ship transfers as well as a full day Barcelona and Monserrat private tour and Marta our guide could not have been more caring and knowledgeable, even when one of our party got injured very early in the tour. She made sure to attend to her comfort while adjusting the tour to meet our needs.

Best tour guide

Marta the guide made this tour- she was so knowledgeable and we really appreciated how she answered our questions and gave us the history of the area. The van was clean and the driver pleasant. This is a great tour if you don’t have a lot of time but want to see as much as possible. Thank you again and a huge thank you to Marta who answered our college kids numerous questions about history. Definitely recommend!

Made Our Barcelona trip very memorable!

It was a great experience all the way from the booking till the end of the tour! Mark Joseph was very helpful and responsive, helping me book the tour. Our guide Irina was exceptional!! Our group can be difficult; she was pleasant, accommodating and very patient. The information she provided during the tour was great! Since this was a private tour for our group she made sure she engaged all of us. Would definitely recommend this tour company, itinerary, and our lovely guide Irina! :)

Beautiful experience

Great tour. 5 of us. The tour guide was great, good information and communication. When we got to the Montserrat we were able to choose to stay a little longer and do the cart up to the mountain, incredible views. The overall tour was great, able to see Barcelona's amazing history and architecture. Only thing was we didn't really have time to get a proper lunch. I recommend this tour.

The driver explained the entire trip to You before You began the trip. The driver was knowledgeable and professional about each site You visited.

Super accommodating

This company was most accommodating to us. travel plans were changed due to Covid. They accommodated us at the last minute arranging for a tour which would pick us up and drop us off at the airport based on the hours we had available. Then when the airlines canceled (A big thumbs down on Vueling who we still haven’t been able to reach and never gave us notice they had changed our flight times twice. We only found out when uploading our Covid data-definitely do not recommend them), Barcelona Today accommodated us for a full refund the day that we should’ve arrived for the tour. They responded rapidly to emails and also with sympathy to our plight. Their prices were reasonable when we shopped around, the reviews were excellent, should we ever return to Barcelona we would definitely tour with them

Surpassed our expectations!!

Wow! I don't even know where to start! We were picked up at cruise port by Christian and a beautiful BMW and driven up to the monserrate for the morning. He stopped along the way at several sites so we could catch every image of Spain. The monserrat exceeded our expectations, it was breathtaking! We took a tram down to meet Christian, it was just a beautiful, perhaps the highlight of our trip! After that Christian took us to a local restaurant where we dined on local food in Barcelona. We then proceeded with the rest of our tour of the city, seeing everything we had wanted! Christian was very informative on his historical information of the city. It was a wonderful day with a wonderful guide! Our day ended with a drop off at Hotel, benefits of a private tour are too many to list, highly recommend, it is worth the money to get such exceptional and personal service!

Great Tour Company!

Our tour was fabulous!! We had taken a cruise and our boat got in at 8 am and our flight didn’t leave until that night. We were looking for a tour for the day. We had read the reviews on this company and they did not disappoint. They picked us up at our ship and made sure we had a ride to the airport when the tour was finished. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and very accommodating. I highly recommend this tour company!

Worthwhile trip. Simona is a gem.

Third time in Barcelona but first time to do a guided tour of these tourist spots. It was amazing! The trip was fully packed. Our tour guide Simona was like a walking and talking encyclopedia. She never stopped talking actually. And we learned a lot from her. Her passion inspired us to understand why Gaudi was a brilliant man ahead of his time.

Cruise pickup

What a perfect tour. We wanted a pickup from our cruise, a tour of Barcelona, and a drop off to out hotel. This was a great choice. There were a dozen passengers in a comfortable mini bus. Marta was a super guide full of knowledge to share. We had time to grab a bite to eat in Montserrat, and we were dropped at our hotel around 5. It was a long day, but we saw so much and had a wonderful guide to introduce to us Barcelona,a beautiful city.

Wonderful & enjoyable time with Barcelona Day Tours

I had a wonderful and an enjoyable time with the tour. Elena and Wilfredo were really fantastic and helpful. We were in a small group with eight people and it was a comfortable trip. At the end of the tour, they dropped us off in our respective hotels.

Excellent service

We took the 1/2 day tour to Monserrat. The guide and driver picked us up at a predetermined spot and time. The company maintained excellent contact with us prior to leaving Barcelona which is saying something since protests were just starting up in the city that day. They delivered on everything promised and when I return to Barcelona, I will take another of their guided tours.

FANTASTIC!!!!

Just back from Barcelona Nov.7 2019, EVERYTHING that Barcelona Day Tours advertised was perfect and our tour guide Marta was EXCELLENT. Tour was exciting, the pick up and drop off ,spot on! Booked online from Australia. Constant contact with this company with questions and nothing was too much for them. Picked up from our accommodation by Marta and Carlos....nothing went wrong at all...what a team. Marta is so intelligent and informative. Everything I needed to see in 1 day

Although we were in Barcelona for 4 days, we had many day tours booked and this tour allowed us to see all the sights in Barcelona as well as Monserrat in one day, including entrance to Park Guell and skip-the-line tickets to La Sagrada Familia. Marta, our guide was wonderful! I highly recommended this tour and company.

Beautiful and surprising places

Our Guide Simone was very knowledgeable about Barcelona and Monserrat. In park Guel We walked around while she was taking care of some of our tour that had a hard time getting around but when we went back with her she opened our eyes to things we didn’t know to look for before. There were protests in Barcelona So we chose not to go inside to see La sagrada familia. Simone did take the people that wanted to go. Monserrat was amazing. We did not know what to expect but it was magnificent.

We had to cancel.

DW,Catherine, was in an accident a few weeks before our vacation. With a broken pelvis, we had to cancel. Within two days of notifying the :"Tour", we were refunded, with no problem.

A great day

We booked direct with Barcelona Day Tours, the process was seamless. From the timely pick-up from the shipping port to the drop off at the airport, the tour guide and driver were fantastic, with astounding knowledge of the places visited. First class Tour

This was absolutely a first class tour small intimate excellent tour . Our tour guide was well knowledged in history and in the city and she was pleasant . the tour bus was absolutely clean modern fantastic and had USB plugs for charging your phone which was absolutely a bonus when you’re taking 1 million pictures of such a beautiful phenomenal city. We had such a great day on this tour, I can’t say enough nice things about this tour company, very happy I found them on line. They even notified my husband when they couldn’t reach me of their arrival upon our pickup. First class all the way Thank you for the exceptional service.

Barcelona - most impressive tour

Wonderful tour - we booked directly through Barcelona Day Tours and their continual contact with us was greatly appreciated. The tour covered many parts of Barcelona and was well organized. Our tour guide spoke perfect English and knew an amazing amount of history especially concerning Guell Park. Pick up and drop off was precise and timely. Full day great overview of Barcelona and Montserrat

This was an excellent tour, Marta was very knowledgeable about the history of the city and surrounding area. The small group size of 13 as definitely a bonus. Hotel pick up and drop off was a big plus as well.
