Our guide was great. She was very knowledgeable about the history and food in Barcelona. We did an amazing time!!

We had fun with Dai. She understood we were jet lagged so we took the 4th stop - dessert- packed up to the hotel. She went above and beyond as she managed to get a taxi in the pouring rain as got soaked. Thank you so much Dai for a fun tapas tour. My husband and I appreciate all that you did for us. Barcelona like a local

Thought I'd give this a go whilst I was in town, never really done Barcelona before. Glad I did it as it was much more sociable doing it as a group. Carmen gets everyone talking to each other. Really enjoyed visiting the less touristy food places, the food and hospitality was amazing and generally loved all the little back streets and snippets of history....such a beautiful place to visit. I recommend highly!

Wow....

Our evening with Violetta was amazing. She alone is worth the price. Tossing in the drinks and food, it truly was an eat better experience. Our five of us (including 3 teenages) had a blast trying different foods and drinks. She introduced us to the best vermut of the trip. As an added bonus, she also recommended a few additional places, including one of the best sandwiches I have ever eaten. You must do this tour if only to find out about the sandwich!!!

Fun tour

Loved seeing the small cafe/restaurants that are in business. Had some interesting food. Guide was knowledgeable and spoke excellent English. Good tour to see places you wouldn’t normally get to see.

Diama and the tour were amazing.

Diama was very friendly and knew her way around the area of the tour. We learned so much and loved all of the Tapas and local drinks. We would highly recommend this tour and Diama. Great introduction to our visit.

Delicious, informative and fun!

We were very lucky to have ourselves and our amazing guide Violetta for our food tour. We both tried things we would never have ordered and really enjoyed everything. The little botega’s we went to were so great and we would have walked past without our guide. Violetta was a warm, insightful guide and lovely to pass the time with and enjoy our treats. Such a nice way to spend an evening.

Solo traveler on a local food tour

This food tour was amazing! The little restaurants were full of character and I would never have found them on my own. Our tour guide Daiam was amazing, and shared food, history and culture with us. Like attending a dinner party with a local. And the other people on the tour were fantastic - I ended up going out for drinks with them afterwards. I will look up this company in other cities too!

Violetta was amazing. Best food tour I've taken. Her historical knowledge is fantastic and paired perfectly with the carefully curated food experiences. Nothing typical about this, all off the beaten path locations that you probably wouldn't find on your own. Highly recommend.

Another amazing gourmet tour and experience

A continuation of my Spanish holiday, our guide Inga was able to show some hidden gems in a large city like Barcelona, which I would have not known about. I was shown the difference between Valencia and Barcelona cuisines and it again it did not disappoint. Thanks for a wonderful and informative food tour.

We loved our walking food tour through Barcelona with our guide. She was knowledgeable and had a great way of giving us the history while making it interesting. Best Foodie Experience in Barcelona

We had an amazing time learning about the culture and the traditions of the foods in Barcelona. Our tour guide Violetta was awesome plus she spoke English. She took us to some really cool local Hotspot that we would have never found on our own. I strongly recommend this tour. We were able to ask all types of questions and she had all the answers. She also paid attention to things we liked and allergies etc. She geared our tour around our likes and dislikes, she was ahhmazing.

Great walking tapas tour of the Gothic District with a fabulous guide

This tour was so much fun especially due to our excellent, knowledgeable guide named Daiam! She gave us a wonderful tour of the Gothic Quarter and took us to 4 great places to dine (tapas dishes at the first 3 and dessert at the 4th). This is a very efficient way to try different types of tapas as the dishes are preselected for the group at each location. Also, we probably wouldn’t have found these hidden gems on our own. Our guide Daiam would share interesting facts about each of the places we visited such as how long the places had been in operation and, at one of the locations, she let us know that the man who greeted us had been working there for fifty years! Overall this tour was an excellent experience with a wonderful guide! I highly recommend this tour!

Highlight of our time in Barcelona

This tour was the highlight of our time in Barcelona. Violetta is a fantastic tour guide and brought us to hidden local spots we never would have found on our own. The tapas and drinks were incredible, the company was great and the gothic quarter was unforgettable. Do not hesitate to sign up for this tour if you have the opportunity!

Excellent guide (Damian) on an excellent tour!

Our guide, Daiam, was excellent! She’s very knowledgeable, very friendly, and her tour of the Gothic Quarter was very informative! The food at the various tapas and Bodega locations was excellent and the dessert at the patisserie at the end was “icing on the cake! I highly recommend this tour and this guide (Daiam)!

Ahhmazing tour and tour guide

We loved all the scenery and learning about the culture at the same time asking all the questions regarding the different types of traditions and food. The spots our guide took us to were ahhmazing the taste the smell and the environment were amazing. The was exactly what we needed plus the added bonus for us was she spoke English, since we don't know how to speak the native language. We would definitely recommend to anyone who loves food and drinks to go on this great tour.

Awesome time, DO IT!

We did the tour on May 3, 2024 with Violeta and it was an awesome time! Violeta was knowledgeable about the city, history and foods and took us to some of her favorite places. There are so many choices of restaurants and dishes, it was great to have some guidance. Violeta was very personable and friendly, and it felt like hanging out with a friend. This was a highlight of our Barcelona experience !

My friends and I had such an amazing time, we learned so much about the spanish culture and traditions. We all had the most extraordinary food from so many hidden gems all around the city! Inga was so incredibly friendly and welcoming, I definitely recommend booking her!!!

Sucha great tour. Our guide had such a great understanding of global cusines she was able to put what we were eating and drinking into context. Losts of great local knowledge and experiance as well. Highly recommeneded. 4 stops, so much food!

Wonderful Family Activity

Daiam was an absolute delight and so knowledgeable, even when we had obscure questions. She was wonderful with my slightly cranky son, too. The restaurants each had a unique style, and the food and drinks were all interesting and delicious.

A great introduction to the food of Barcelona

We had a great time on this walking food tour of the Gothic Quarter of Barcelona, despite how hot the day was. Our guide was lovely, and we tried many different foods at several stops, from tortilla de patatas, potato bravas, bomba, pastry and coffee, tomato bread, manchego cheese and jamon iberico, olives and anchovies, and more. The quality of the food was some of the best we had while in Barcelona. The only negative would be that the amount of food that came for us at some stops was way too much for two people, and our guide didn't really help us eat, so we had to leave some food on the table, which didn't feel good. Despite this, we really enjoyed this tour and would recommend it.

We had a great tour with the amazing guide Valentina. Interesting stories and the tapas was so good. Plenty of food and drinks on the four stops. Also, they handled coeliac (gluten free) perfectly with separate tapas.
