City bus tour was great

Great way to see the city. Just be careful when hoping on and off, you get back on the correct line ro return to your destination.

One day to see it all with hop on hop off bus in Barcelona

We were able to see all the great sites with one bus ticket. We only had one day to see it all due to a late flight, and we got off at places we really wanted to see and received a great overview in eight different languages while on board.

Bad experience

Bus was crowded, no air conditioning, couldn’t open window. Head sets weren’t working, didn’t know what bus stop we were on. Horrible, do not recommend this!!!!

Wonderful way to see Barcelona

From the driver's..to the attendants. The maps etc .this was awesome. The sites were amazing.. Make sure you pick up the free headphones

True overall city experience

Best hop on hop off. We took an earlier excursion like this with a cruise line. Nit enough buses to allow for getting off and back on. THIS one was amazing. Truly no more than 8 minute wait. Not overcrowded. Both routes included to get the full city experience. Driver and attendant very friendly and helpful. Overall loved it!

Great way to get acquainted with the sites of the city.

We added the 90 minute catamaran ride which was very enjoyable as it provided a different viewpoint to the city.

Must do in Barcelona

This was the best excursion if you have never been to Barcelona before. We saw everything and our guide could not have been more gracious and knowledgeable. I would give 10 out of 10 stars if I could. I highly recommend this tour.

I suggest always doing the hop on and hop off buses every major city

I loved having access to the touristic points of interests 24/7. It was easy to find the pickup stops.

Enjoy the views, sun and sights of Barcelona!

There was plenty of seating available up top and the sights were amazing. We did one route completely and got off. Had lunch and got back on to do the second route. We stopped at Salts - The former Olympic dive and swim location with AMAZING views of the city. We really enjoyed this excursion.

Bus and boat ride

Highly recommended, a great way to see the sites including optional Catamaran ride from the harbour which can be taken outside of bus dates. Excellent few days at the start of our holiday which set the scene and location really well.

Bad Sound

We could not understand the narration thru the headsets. Most of the narration was for other trips and not what we were viewing.

Excellent way to see the sights.

Loved the hop on hop off experience. The buses were regular and we always managed to get seats together . We also thoroughly enjoyed the catamaran 60minutes cruise - would totally recommend.

Not as interesting and convenient as other Hop-Ons I’ve done.

No air in the bus, lines long. Hopping on and off easily would be unrealistic. We had hoped to use this feature to get around the city throughout our 2 day stay. The first attempt was difficult as it said you can “start anywhere” but we couldn’t find the stops. A photo of the signs might be helpful. Lines were long in the most popular spots. Unfortunately, it just didn’t work with our itinerary.

A day in Spain

My family had a wonderful day in Barcelona, we saw a lot of interesting stuff and the history was impeccable. This your is well worth it.

Great overview of city!

Great way to get an overview of Barcelona. We start with hop/on-hop off in every city and it did not disappoint! This company had many buses and eco catamaran tour was an added plus!

BCN bus tour

Bus tour was good. Bus was clean, on time, itinerary was very good and tour audio very clear and no static.

Good intro but a bit slow

Good intro to the city. Great way of getting to the castle and getting a few tips of places to see. But the queues at certain stops are so very long and it takes quite a while to get around a loop so be careful if on a cruise or other timetable.

Great experience, good recorded narrative! We loved leaning and seeing Barcelona all at the same time.

Land and Sea overview

Great overview of Barcelona from bus and the water - especially loved the catamaran ride on the water, great views of the city and other boats

Good with a few caveats.

Long line to get on bus even with prepaid tickets. I would recommend buying them when you get there, they sell them in the line to get on the bus. Some of the stops are a long way from the drop off (Park Guell). Pre-ordered a 48 hour pass for me and my wife, she only used 24 hours. Good for a preview of the town, and some basic stops. Be careful on the bus stairs , I bumped my knee on the edge of a cabinet coming down the stairs and took the skin off through my jeans. Two bus companies doing the same thing they look similar.

Best way to see the city!

Great tour with good selection of stops along the route. Comfortable seats and good audio. Was a little chaotic at the boarding point , but otherwise very good.

So far poor customer service

Out flight was delayed so we needed to change our date until the next day which they said no problem. Your tour doesn’t commence until you check in. However our bookings in our viator didn’t’ update. So after communication with several people prior we were still not able to access the tour we paid for. 7 tours with this company so I hope they reimburse us for this mistake.

On and off was okay

The windows was dirty, hard to find the signs. There were too many construction going on and it was not a good view. While riding in top of bus there were trees that were not properly trimmed that end up hitting us. Tour guide were not interactive with the people. The tour guide were boring and starts talking about history after bus pull off the site.

Shame on viator

Worst ever! Viator deleted our tickets on app for 3 persons 48 hours in Barcelona. Refused refund lost ,150.00 now contacted cc. So we had to rebuy to tickets. We have now cancelled upcoming trips. Too unreliable.

Barcelona Hop on/Hop Off

We always do a Hop On/Hop Off bus if available to where we are visiting. Gives us an ideal of what we want to see the major highlights. Then we can decide if we want a tour or do on our own. Viator always is a value for the money.

Terrible Service

This package was refused by at least 7 buses! We called Viator for help but they didn't respond for 4 days, at which we had already left. Their response was in an email, saying No, they wouldn't refund our money!!!

Hop On Hop off City Tour

Great the best way to see highlights of Barcelona. Highly recommended and inexpensive with a 60 minutes Catamaran ride.

Buses were a bit confusing with all the different companies. The trip was fantastic. the only way to see the city. Staff were very helpful

Scenic views and rest your legs.

Helpful! Download the app for bus locations and help with navigation to stops. We also mostly for scenic tour and the metro for most specific transportation. Going around the loop took about 2hrs so you have to take that into consideration if you have planned entry. We also did the catamaran tour. It was an interesting different perspective of the city.

Convenient way to combine...

Convenient way to combine sightseeing with transportation around the City. Also great when you need a break from walking but want to continue to see and learn about your destination.

Do not waste your time and money

We never used the bus portion as we could not find the locations to get on. Also the boat experience was a waste. There was nothing interesting to see.

Barcelona by Bus

We really enjoyed our Hop on Hop Off experience. We felt like we really got to see Barcelona. We enjoyed the Catamaran too.

It works, but needs improvment.

The busses need work. Several of the headset jacks did not work, were staticy, or the jacks just didn't stay in. The company says that the busses arrive every 15 minutes, but we sometimes had to wait 30 minutes for the next bus. One time I was told that the top deck was full, even though I could see open seats. Was then told that there were a lot of passengers waiting at the next stop. Your best choice with this is to do the complete circle without getting off, but paying attention to the attractions and areas that you want to go back to. The catamaran was pleasant, but I don't think it was worth the extra charge.

Book with the “Original Barcelona” Company Instead

Pay for this tour if you want to watch 6 of the competitor buses drive by for every one of City Tour buses and when it finally does finally come by, it’ll be full and you will have to keep watching competitor buses pick up their customers while you wait for the next one.

Not great

Long distance between stops, we never used the catamaran as we ended up waiting too much for the next bus to arrive. Narrative is not much with the headphones, pretty basic. I really wanted this to be a good experience but I feel we totally wasted our money, we paid for a 48 hour ticket.

Safe Seeing Barcelona, Italy

Barcelona is a huge city and traffic is dense!! We wisely elected to book the Hop-on-Hop-off. By doing this we had no stress of driving in traffic in Barceona, and we were able to learn much about the town, buildings, and people. The busses arrive at stops about every 10 minutes .

Drenched

It was raining and the bus was dripping water from everywhere. It was a horrible experience. Water was coming from the light, the windows and pooling from the upper deck

Excellent way to Discover a city

We were only in Barcelona for 4 whole days and wish we had done this tour on our first day as it would have given us a better insight into what Barcelona had to offer. There were 2 routes and we choice the Orange route as we had already seen some of the Green route by foot. Would recommend doing a bus tour first.

Nice

Hop on hop off was typical. Unlike other cities, like Madrid, the bus finishes the service around 6:30 pm or so. Too early. The catamaran tour was nice. This was in a one-deck boat. Somewhat crowded.

Best way to get around

Value for your money. Great way to see the city and get some history while you are at it. Well organized and clean facilities. Can’t go wrong with this tour.

Fabulous Tour from Bus Roof Top

Loved the entire two routes Red/Orange and Green . Terrific audio and wonderful views from top deck . Saw all of Barcelona and fell in love with the city . Thank you Barcelona City Hop on Hop Off Tours !

Great service.

Wherever we go we use the ‘Get your guide’ service to pre book tickets. This ‘Grayline’ service bus is great. Covers two routes and takes you to all the major attractions in Barcelona with a frequent and efficient service. We get the 48hr ticket which allows us to do the whole tour firstly then, use it to pick out our stops. Only criticism is the audio guide - earphones are supplied - great but, it can be hit or miss whether your seat terminal actually works. Don’t know if frustration causes it but, people have been throwing their earphones on the robes of any bus shelter they can? Piles of them. Don’t know how often they are removed. Either way, great service and recommended.

Great way to spend a day in beautiful Barcelona

The bus was a great solution to seeing Barcelona in a day. The audio guide was very clear and the complementary head phones were comfortable to wear. Our favourite part was getting off the orange line near the train station, and walking down to the harbour for a seaside lunch. We then walked along the beach and caught the green line to see the other side of the city.
