Amazing tour of Barcelona on ebike.

I highly recommend this bike tour. We did the Highlights of Barcelona three hour tour. Pay the extra and get an ebike! Our tour guide Lilly was very knowledgeable and safety conscious. And, biking in Barcelona is easy with their very bike friendly bike lanes. We enjoyed the tour and got a real taste of the city. I recommend doing this so you can see what might be interesting to go back and visit.

Great tour and dependable bikes

We loved our tour. Pau Martrat was our guide and he went above and beyond to make the tour special for us. As a local Catalonian, his understanding of the city’s cultural and historical significance was just what we were looking for to gain a better understanding of the area. We love sports too so he brought us to the top of Montjuïch to see the Olympic stadium and surrounding area. We will recommend his tour to friends.

Family-friendly bike tour

My family and I really enjoyed our bike tour of Barcelona! Catarina did an amazing job navigating around the city in a kid-friendly way and showing us the highlights. She explained things well for my boys and was happy to stop for a beach break! It was wonderful!

Great way to see Barcelona!

Great way to see Barcelona! Very relaxing bike ride, stopped often for pictures and commentary on the sights. The guide was fantastic with many great tips and insights. Highly recommend! The ride was easy, pretty much flat. Anyone can do it.

Look elsewhere to explore the city

Not as good as expected. Barcelona is meant to be a cycle-friendly city, but it really isn’t, it’s crowded and traffic is a nightmare. The bikes weren’t a good standard, and mine didn’t adjust properly making it uncomfortable. Our guide was ok, but our group was too big as we had up to 15 people making stopping difficult, and didn’t have many chances to take good photos or learn about the city.

Ok but look around elsewhere

Whilst Barcelona is meant to be a cycle city, it was not as enjoyable as expected. The group was too big - there were at least 15 of us! This made navigation and stopping difficult, and the opportunity to take photos lacked. At times we didn’t know which direction we were going as the guide didn’t give the best instructions and the bikes weren’t as good quality.

Very informative and funny Tour. We had great weather conditions in October. The bike trails are save, but busy. 😀

Great guide who imparted his knowledge.

Augustine our guide greeted us with "Kia Ora" which was very thoughtful, he had lived in our country for a short while before arriving here in Spain. Great tour with excellent info provided, bikes easy to use, we enjoyed it immensely.

A Trip Favorite

Favorite event of our trip! Great overview of the city, we enjoyed doing this at the beginning of our stay in Barcelona. Nice to have someone else do the navigating. Great blend of history and backstory and riding around.

Our guide, Katarina, was so knowledgeable and friendly. Excellent guide. Her stories and knowledge of the architecture, artists, and history of Barcelona made the tour so much better.

A 'must' when in Barcelona.

A great way to explore the sites in Barcelona (especially if you're just beginning your trip). We managed to cover a lot of the city and was a nice balance of cycling and stopping to look at the attractions. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable, friendly and fun. Water was provided which we weren't expecting which was a nice touch! Would definitely recommend.

Worth it 100%

Went solo and had an amazing experience. Met people and our guide was great and funny. I explained I had been to some locations and he took us to one to show the others where I had been. Highly recommend even as a solo traveler.

Best way to experience the lovely city of Barcelona!

Wonderful guide (Augustine), Gaudi buildings, actively experiencing the city, relaxed vibe amongst the small group, excellent picture-taking opportunities, beach, cathedrals, parks, pier, etc.

Awesome bike tour

This 3 hours bike tour was just perfect to discover the main city points. It was the first activity we did when we arrived in Barcelona. We had a lot of advice from our guide, this was so useful, thank you Jekaterina !

Interesting city bike tour

My wife and I really enjoyed the tour. The cycle pace was fine and Alejandro was a friendly and well informed guide. We had a number of short stops where he told us details about local sites including practical information like where the nearest public toilet was. His recommendation to visit Casa Vicens Gaudi was great, we walked there afterwards and loved it. Happy to recommend the tour to others.

Excellent city tour May 2023

We went on the tour this morning. Alberson our tour guide of Argentina was excellent, informative and funny.

Excellent bike tour

We were ale to pull up to the favorite tourist sites and the guide provided excellent commentary. The route was flat and mostly on bike lanes. While it was crowded we had no trouble navigating around the city. A very worth while bike tour - don’t miss!

A breeze through the city.

This tour was a great deal. Our guide, Agustin, was so lovely, providing some great tips and ensured everyone was safe and looked after throughout. I'd definitely recommend doing this on one of the 1st days of your trip as an introduction/ orientation of some of the major hotspots of the city. We saw a lot during our 3 hours. I cycle a lot but this is perfect for the novice cyclist. The ride was a breeze through the Barcelona's great cycling infrastructure. Crusing along Barceloneta is a memory that will stay with me for a while!

Great experience! Easy...

Great experience! Easy bike ride with many stops along the way. Tour guide was very knowledgeable of each stop and was able to provide helpful tips for sights to see outside the tour. No better way to see a city than riding a bike!

Great value

Katrina our guide was so considerate, she kept an eye on us at all times. Katrina shared her knowledge, passion and recommendations for the city. We were the only ones on the tour which led to a very personalised informative morning. Thank you for a great time, will definitely recommend to friends and family. This was the only tour we did, it was great value for the price and gave us an insight into Barcelona history.

Affordable and fun way to discover Barcelona

Very friendly and knowledgeable guide named Sascha. 3 hour ride through Barcelona was a fun way to discover some highlights of the City.

Ordinary

For a start the bikes were very worn. Lacking proper gear and bell coverings. Brakes not all working on each bike properly. A couple of our bikes had only two gears. It’s like the good ones are on display but they bring out the old worn bikes for the tours. Description mentions helmets provided, didn’t even see one. Felt very unorganized and almost like we had to ensure we were all still together as group. Our tour guide was lovely, however it was very hard to hear him as he spoke softly. We set off with a group of 8. By the time we reached the second stop we’d lost two of the others. Luckily they found us after about 10 minutes. Ordinary experience, would not do this again.

Enjoyed good experience to see city

Good experience to see city. We were family group and all enjoyed. Guide could read up on other buildings. But knowledgeable on main sites. Safe too

Enjoyable tour of the highlights of Barcelona

We were a small group, 6 people, us and another family. Our friendly guide showed us the main highlights. It's always fun to discover a city by bike. We did a similar tour in 2014 but there's always something new to see and learn. Be aware that in Barcelona, the bike paths can be on either side of the road, so always keep an eye out when crossing.

An awesome way to see Barcelona

The tour was a highlight of our trip! Our guide, Katharina, was fabulous. It's a great way to explore Barcelona. We recommend going on a tour early during your stay so you can decide what you want to go back to later.

Fantastic city tour

Amazing tour Shaun and Natalie

Absolutely amazing tour, tour guide octavio was brilliant, explained how to keep us safe and what we can and can’t do. His knowledge of Barcelona is great, we loved listening to him explain about everywhere we went. Thank you very much Octavio we had such a great time, favourite thing we did in Barcelona and we would definitely recommend it to anyone wanting to see Barcelona and learn about its interesting history.

Great way to explore the city of Barca

I was searching the things to look in Barcelona and decided to take a bike tour. I am so glad I did it, because it really is a great experience. My tour guide Octavio was the best. He explained and show me many interesting things. Highly recomend!

If you want to see the sites of Barcelona book this trip

We had a fantastic bike tour visiting most of the main attractions in Barcelona with our wonderful guide Bou . He is a trained journalist and actor, which are great combinations for a guide. We learnt about Gaudi's architecture and Barcelona's interesting history. Barcelina ciclo tours promote this trip as being in the top 10 bike tours in the world and I can see why ... 5 stars.

Bou the Bold!

Just finished a wonderful cycle tour with our amazing guide, Bou. If you are in Barcelona you must do this! In 3 hours we saw the whole city; from the famous Guadi House to the port; from La Sagarada Familia to the beach and plenty of stops in between including the gothic quarter, parks and squares and sites of historical interest. Bou was a very friendly, informative guide giving us detailed and insightful information and answering all our questions! Thank-you Bou!

This tour was a very good. It was an excellent way to see what BCN has to offer. They deliver a good service overall. I recommend it.

Awesome tour guide, Mauricio!

Our tour guide, Mauricio, was very patient with our group of 4. My parents are 60 and 70yo, and us 2 in our 30s had a blast. It was their first time and we were lucky we were the only 4 in our group that signed up so we had a private tour. Highly recommend it and great way to explore barcelona. Do it on your first day!

Evening bike tour - great way to see Barcelona!

We found this company via a brochure in our hotel and decided at the last minute to do it. We didn't reserve but instead showed up at the meeting place outside the Hard Rock Cafe. We were a group of five but had two others join in -- so a group of seven overall. This was the perfect size! We were met by Moritz and then took a short walk to the bike shop. There, we paid and were outfitted with a bike (excellent condition) and a helmet (if we wanted it -- which I would recommend). The bikes also had a pouch in front, which was really convenient to store your phone / camera. They also provided some water in each pouch. Moritz was an excellent guide! He was funny and knowledgeable and safety-minded and attentive. We saw some great sights (both off the beaten path and the usual touristy things) and Moritz had some great stories to tell. At the Magic Fountain, we got off the bikes to explore the paths while Mortiz kept watch of the bicycles. But the rest of the time the information was provided while on bike. The pace of the tour was super with frequent stops. I don't think it was strenuous at all but it was busy and you had to continuously be on the look out for wayward pedestrians, mopeds and cars. Barcelona is not the most bike-friendly place I've been. If you are a nervous cyclist, I would carefully consider doing this. Moritz did say that it was the most crowded evening he has EVER seen -- but there were a lot of people walking around Barcelona and many of them don't like / respect bikes. However, there are some really good bike lanes / paths. Moritz was very careful to keep us together and gave us instructions at each stop as to what to do if we got separated. I'm really glad I did this and would recommend the company and Mortiz.

Great Up Until They Cut Us Loose

Tour started off well; very friendly guide with enthusiastic commentary in perfect English. Then, he left us behind at the Sagrada Familia. We waited, he came back for us. A few minutes later, during a long stretch down a straight road, we got stuck behind a red light and the rest of the group carried on, turning off somewhere beyond where we could see. This time, guide made no attempt to find us. OK, maybe he was annoyed, although even then I would argue that it's still his responsibility to keep track of his charges. So we called the office and spoke to someone in person; NOBODY EVER CALLED US BACK. Having lost 45 minutes at this point, we decided to just make our own way back. NO APOLOGY. NO REFUND. Just a surly "are those our bikes?" So, what more can I say? Avoid at all costs!

Excellent, informative cycle tour

We did two tours on consecutive days. Our guide, Moritz, Was Friendly, well informed on the history of Barcelona and excellent company throughout. We visited all the "must see" sites of the city, each one enriched by Moritz's knowledge. In our opinion the very best way to explore this Diverse, interesting and wonderous city.

Ours was a great tour

The guide, Simon, was quite knowledgeable and also entertaining. We had some history, some nature, some beach, some architecture....very informative tour. The pace was good--city is crowded so there's some bobbing and weaving, but stops are frequent and the tour shows you a lot in three hours. A good introduction to the city. Highly recommended.

Recommend but

Showed up at the hard rock cafe as stated but couldn’t see any red t shirts so went to the office. Booked in okay with €2 off for showing my student ID. Friendly staff. We didn’t stop at the 17 stops however we both enjoyed (2 of us as a couple within a larger group of 8). Tour guide knew her history and made it interesting for all. Well worth going on the tour for both new and old visitors to the city, as you can always pop back and visit places that we didn’t have time to fully explore.

What a great way to see the city

We did the 11am tour and there were only 4 guest to the one guide. We saw much of the city and learned a lot of the history and architecture. The drink at th beach helped us beat the heat.

Great tour to see lots in Barcelona for a short time

This tour was amazing, our guide Moritz was really good with his english and the history of Barcelona. It happened so nicely that only my girlfriend and me were on the tour, just the 2 of us and Moritz took the time to explain everything in detail and show us the best parts of Barcelona. He even volunteered to take picture of us in front of the different sightseeing of Barcelona. If you are in Barcelona on a short stay and would like to see as much as possible and get to know Barcelona better, I would really recommend trying this bike tour.

Full city tour with water front as well.

A wonderful full city center/waterfront tour with EXCELLENT guide Aga Lomza! Nice sized, fun group. Aga kept everyone together and organized with knowledgeable narration of cities historical sites and features. The city is easy and FUN to see on bikes with the right equipment and guide!

A Fantastic Way to see the City!

A group of 6 friends went on this tour with Agga, who was a wonderful tour guide. She shared her knowledge of the city and it was both interesting and engaging. She also took us to a bar on the beach front as part of the trip, where we enjoyed a well earned cold beer! The bikes themselves were good quality and the route was generally easy. We saw a lot of the city in 3 and a half hours. Well worth doing the tour at the beginning of your trip to get your bearings.

Superb!

Did the tour This Wednesday with Moritz our guide. Met in Place Catalonya and walked to their office, 5 minutes away where we were given bikes and safety tips for the tour. Then off ... visited all the key sites in an around the town centre - at an easy pace, stopping at each point of interest. Moritz was enthusiastic and knowledgeable, speaking clearly (perfect English!) and maintained our interest throughout. We learned a lot - the Ciclotour is an excellent way to kick off one's tourist-visit to Barcelona. Strongly recommended!

Tour many neighborhoods

Our group of four enjoyed seeing so many different neighborhoods as we enjoyed the afternoon biking nearly 9 miles with our guide. It's a good overview of the city. If you go, make sure your bike is in good repair and sized to you before you set out. We did the afternoon tour and traffic increases as it gets dark, and can be daunting as pedestrians, skateboards, motor scooters, and taxis compete for the same road in some areas. Our guide sped up as darkness fell, just when I wanted to slow down.

Barcelona - even better by bicycle!
