Best ever

This was one of the best things i have ever done. From start to finish it was top notch. . Nice central pick up and drop off in Barcelona. Excellent cafe stop for coffee and croissants pre and post ballooning. The Staff was amazing the whole trip and the actual ride was a once in a lifetime experience. Don’t debate going, Just go and you won’t regret it.

Definitely worth it!!

This was our kids’ first ride in a hot air balloon and Nicolas did not disappoint! We hovered over Vic, even pretty low at times, for great views of the oldest parts of the city. The whole trip and crew were great from start to finish.

Had the best time doing the Balloon ride! Woke up & it was a rainy morning thought it would be called off but was picked up on time at the meeting point. A great morning all the guys running the trip was very friendly & knowledgeable! The actual ride was so much better than we expected fantastic views 💗 would defo recommend 🎈

Amazing experience and a must try

Everything was just as stated. The van driver Dommi and our Hot Air Balloon driver Angel were wonderful. It was an amazing experience made better by the ballooning company.

Wonderful experience

Everything was wonderful and the people were very professional as well as friendly. They made me feel safe and enjoy the experience. At one point I felt lightheaded and they were very concerned and took good care of me, provided water, and took care of every need.

Awesome Flight!

We absolutely LOVED the experience. This was our last day and we ended on a high note. The views were incredible from the snow capped Pyrenees Mountains to the local town Vic. A very smooth flight! The crew was FANTASTIC! A must do while in Barcelona.

A beautiful and scenic ride highly recommended!!

This was my first time hot air ballooning and it was a really beautiful and scenic ride. It was incredible to see the balloon being unpacked and blown up! It was so peaceful being in the sky and the ride was not as scary as I had imagined. I will treasure my flight certificate and I highly recommend this excursion. Only 2 criticisms: Although the detailed description said brunch and champagne, we only had crackers and champagne. Also, we had to help pack up the balloon after our flight. While I didn’t mind, passengers could get hurt because of the heavy weight of the balloon. May not be a good idea to ask passengers to lift anything. Other than that, excellent excursion that I would do again!!!

Great ballooning

Excellent experience with very smooth ride and landing. The tour operator sent an email confirmation the day prior regarding pick up time. The car ride from Barcelona to Vic was 1 hr with a stop at the local cafe which served delicious pastries. We had about 1 hr inside the ballon. the team was fun and provided lots of information. We were ask help out in the end which made it quite fun also. We got back to Barcelona by noon. It was a wonderful experience.

Balloons (Globos) definitely worth doing!

Had a good time. It took Santi(?) a bit to warm up to us, but he was fun and laughed at all my jokes, so he was awesome! Do it if you can.

Such a beautiful experience! I recommend taking advantage of the transfers. It's an extra cost but takes the stress out of the journey. The team were amazing, very professional! Communication was perfect! A quick stop for coffee then over to the field to watch the balloon being blown up, so cool! It's so peaceful up there! An impressive landing, with such precision! Then refreshments and a chat about the experience. We had the best time!

Amazing Experience!!!

My wife (Paula) and I had the most amazing experience!!! The pilot (Jordi) was incredible, the flight truly a lifetime experience!!! He nailed a perfect landing!!! The person who picked us up (Josef) was delightful and wonderfully helpful. We highly recommend this to everyone!!!!

Sailing above Catalunya

Lovely, professional people who went out of their way to accommodate us. The trip was stunning and relaxing. All 6 of us would highly recommend this excursion. Communication was easy and efficient.

What an excellent trip ! We were picked up early (6am) from our hotel by Santi for a 45 minute drive in the minibus to a restaurant in Vic where we had breakfast. Then it was a hop into the Land Rover, with the balloon and basket on the trailer in the back for a quick drive further up the hills to our take off point. Watching the balloon being unfurled and inflated was great fun. (We did a time lapse video which is worth doing to see the ballooon growing !) Before long we were up and away ! Wow! Wow! Gently rising up into the sky with Santi at the helm. An experience of a life-time. We headed towards the Pyrenees, with their snow caps glistening in the morning sun. We reached a maximum height of 2100 meters, that's high and the views were amazing. It's chilly that high up so wrap up warm. We got some amazing photos and Santi gave lots of commentry on the area and how he gets us moving across the sky, not just up ! After a very gentle landing we helped Charlie and Santi to pack up the balloon, then celebrated with a champagne toast and a certificate presentation. After a short drive back to the restaurant from the morning, we enjoyed a traditional Catalan lunch with Charlie and Santi which was delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed their company and the stories they told of their balloon expeditions. 100% recommend this trip. First class from start to finish and worth every penny. Thank you Santi and Charlie :-)

Amazing Hot Air Balloon Ride above a beautiful region of Catalonia

Had an amazing time. Felt safe the entire time, the pilot kept us updated throught the whole flight and told us random things about the surrounding areas. Be aware that you spend over 2 hours in total in a car, as you start the activity from Vic, but you have 2 stops for toilets, coffe and something to eat if you'd like. Be prepared to wake up early, in summer the meeting time is 6am. I went in April and it was at 7.

Hot air balloon review

Nicholas was very informative nice calm and collective. Good energy I took this flight on my birthday and the best experience I had. The day was beautiful the flight was smooth and best of all the views were gorgeous. Highly recommend.

A Fantastic Experience

We booked this online three weeks in advance at a price of £357 for two of us, so not cheap, but definitely worth the experience as neither of us had done it before. We met up with our guides at 6.30 am outside the Hard Rock Cafe, all on time and set off on the one hour journey to Vic, with a brief breakfast stop. We pulled up in a field and got to see the whole set up of the (two) balloons which was interesting to see and after 30 minutes and a safety brief we were in the balloons and ready to go. I won't lie I'm not great with heights and the idea of a basket being between me and a lot of fresh air wasn't the most reassuring of feelings. I was still holding on but really enjoyed the hour or so we were airborne, the quiet up there is almost surreal. The pilot was readily available to answer questions and made everyone feel welcome as we drifted over Vic before coming down softly in a field. We then helped put the balloons away before given a few snacks and a drink and our flying certificates. Overall an unforgettable experience and something I'd do again over another city, was it a little unnerving, sure, but you only live once and I survived and that's what matters.

A fun and unique experience

It was fantastic, everything was taken care of. The guides were experienced and fun and the balloon ride was very relaxing.

I would highly recommend this tour. What a great experience with amazing people. As someone who is afraid of heights, I wasn't nervous. The guides were wonderful. The views were amazing and so peaceful.

Worthwhile experience

Absolutely loved our experience. Nicholas was very friendly and patient, and his crew was very entertaining as well. Nicholas made sure that we had all the information we need and answered all of our questions. He was also nice enough to drop us off at a our restaurant after our trip.

February 2024 Balloon Ride

Great trip with great views of the Spanish countryside. Highly recommend doing this excursion. They drop you off to get coffee before flying and they get you back to Barcelona by about lunch time. Great half day experience!

Up, up and away!

Hands down best part of our trip. It was the first time for the entire family to experience a hot air balloon ride! The whole trip as very organized and guides communication was great! We were able to see the Great Pyrenees Mountains and medieval towns below!

Awesome experience which should not be missed !

This one is for our ever smiling pilot Nicholas. He made our first balloon trip not only enjoyable but also very interesting by sharing a lot of information about ballooning.

Views are amazing!

Great experience. I would highly recommend it. The views are great and you're on the balloon for about an hour! About an hour to go from pick up to where the balloon is. You do stop to get breakfast (your own money) and then the balloon. Then go back to the same place afterwards for a quick snack. You're back by 1230pm (at least the one I selected). Highly recommend it!

I had the most amazing time ever! Definitely worth the little extra you want to spend if traveling! Nico was so great and answered all questions, and gave details about where we were.

We want to go again!

Pick up at HRC was super easy — the guides speak great English. Our pilot and driver was knowledgeable and funny. The flight was surprisingly quiet (when not firing the jet) and still; I expected loud and windy. I really want to do the Pyrenees flight! The staff also take a ton of photos for which they provide a link to at no extra charge.

Just Amazing

The entire day was amazing! The pilot and his team are wonderful. They made the trip special in every way. The experience is one I will never forget.

LOVED Every Minute

This was the most amazing experience on our trip! The crew was completely professional and clearly experienced/well-trained. Our pilot had over 20 years of experience and clearly loved the trip as much as we did. Everything from the pick up in Barcelona, stop for coffee, trip in the air, and then driving back was perfectly planned. If you are nervous about heights or stability PLEASE know it is completely calm and tranquil up in the sky, not shaky at all and feels completely secure! We HIGHLY recommend this experience and loved every minute.
