We had a great time with Max. He was so happy to show us this city. Cheerful, knowledgeable, and safety-conscious. And learning to ride a Segway is easier than I thought. Highly recommend!

Fun way to see Barcelona

This was our family's first time on segways. Meeting at the skate park was helpful so we could practice using the segway before hitting the streets. We had fun once we got started and were eager to see Barcelona on our first day in town. It was reassuring to have two guides with us to help people if there were any issues.

Dany! Was the perfect guide. Sharing great knowledge, good humour and a really amazing time. I would highly recommend Dany and the Sedway tours we have used many times now as always such a great experience.

It was amazing! And our tour guide was just the best and patient when it was in high traffic areas and more difficult areas. He even took pictures of us at many landmarks. Highly recommend this company!

Great segway tour

What a great way to do some sightseeing in Barcelona! The whole team was very friendly and helpful- special thanks to Tiziana. Our guide Dany was very good giving instructions on how to use the segway making the tour really enjoyable, safe, fun and informative too!

Amazing Segway Tour

This tour was amazing! Oscar was a really good host and tour guide. His knowledge on the local area is very good and he is great at settling the nerves if you have never been on a segway before. This is a great way to see some of the highlights Barcelona has to offer!

Fun while learning

Our Segway tour with oscar was so much fun with some learning thrown in for good measure, He was very attentive to us all and mindful to keep us all safe. Segway tours are such a fun way to explore and learn about the city. I would highly recommend this tour

Great experience

I booked my tour the same day, and i can say that communication was easy from thé confirmation to the meeting point thanks to Tiziani . Our guide Oscar was funny, share some insightful information especially on the Port-Vell Villa Olimpica. Plus he was kind enough to propose and took pictures. Group of 6 person, we had a great moment, and i Will recommend it to everyone even if it is the first time using a segway, the instructions are easy to understand. Allez-y

A brilliant time

Absolutely amazing time spent doing this tour. Dany our tour guide was a great guy and very patient with beginners. So pleased we did this and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

Absolutely amazing, the Italian tour guide was charming and funny. As a first time Segway user, this experience was made so much easier by the initial coaching. Views were great, loved the park and the experience was made that much better due to the guide

Best way to see a city is on a Segway.

We love Segway tours because they usually take us to places that we would not have time to visit. This tour was no exception and we saw some great places that were not on our agenda. Oscar was loads of fun and very knowledgeable. Highly recommend this tour and we are in our 60’s so age is never a barrier. Best possible way to get a feel for a city.

Very good

me and my boyfriend went for a 2 hour segway tour and had a lovely tour guide (don’t remember his name) we were in a group of 4 with another couple and had an amazing time. we saw lots of the sights in barcelona and had opportunities for lots of photos. would highly recommend!

Unusual review, but here goes.. Booked this tour, flights across UK cancelled so couldn’t get to Barcelona to do this much anticipated activity (highly recommended by friends & my sons were really looking forward to this!) I msg’d operator immediately once flight were cancelled & we realised our holiday wasn’t happening. Their response was 5 star great customer service! Even though we were out of cancellation refund parameters, they immediately agreed to refund us 100% & started the ball rolling with Tripadvisor. Thank you! You made the nightmare of cancelled flights/accommodation/ activities that much easier to bare. I will definitely book this tour on our next attempt to get to Barcelona!

Segway is THE way!

AMAZING! Nuno was our guide and he was the BEST! We had such a great time, best way to see the sites. We aren't a huge touristy family, we like to see the main sites, a quick bit of history and move on and this was exactly what we got, was just perfect for us (2 adults and 2 teenagers 17 & 18) and we all loved it. Highly recommend.

Great tour

Very interesing facts during the tour. Driving the segways is a lot of fun and the groups are small. Our tourguide Oscar was great!

THE BEST THING I DID IN BARCELONA

We had so much fun!! Riding the Segway for the first time was pretty easy and fun .. loved how the our guide and instructor taught and showed us around Barcelona 😍 A perfect way to learn about the city without getting tired! Will love to cone again soon 👍👍

Highly recommend and loved Oscar!

We had the most fun segway tour around Barcelona with Oscar. He was so funny and showed us all around the major sites of Barcelona. My family of four, husband, myself and two teen girls, ages 16 and 18, did this tour and we all enjoyed it. We always try to do a segway tour on vacation as our kids enjoy doing that rather than just walking. We had to get in touch with them prior to our tour and they were so communicative and nice. We would recommend this tour!

Fun times on the classic Barcelona Segway tour

We covered more ground in 2 hours on the Segway that the previous two days combined. Our guide Akram was great and was fluent in both Spanish and English (plus other languages I think). Would recommend 👍👍

Great Tour! The absolute best afternoon!

Both Barcelona Sun & Segway and Akram (our guide) made our too-short visit to Barcelona great. I wrote to them the same morning that our cruise ship was arriving in town. They responded immediately with availability and times. The times would not work for our schedule, so they were willing to create a time slot for us that worked... what great flexibility! The directions they sent were perfect - including a photo of the meeting point. When we showed the taxi driver the photo, he knew where it was and took us right there. They met us right on time. Since it was off-schedule, we wound up with a private tour. We told Akram what we wanted to see, and he was super-willing to rearrange our itinerary to take us where we wanted to go. We probably visited 10-12 different sites during the re-arranged tour. Akram was very knowledgeable about what we were looking at, andd was able to explain what we were seeing and why it was interesting in clear, easy-to-understand English. We never felt rushed, even when we randomly stopped to take pictures, despite his concern with basically, making up the tour route as we rode. We didn't see more than a small bit of the cool stuff in Barcelona - when I return, I will use Barcelona Sun & Segway to check some more sites off my list. Both their customer service and the tour itself deserves 11 points on a scale of 10 :) NOTE: My friend had never segway-ed before; I had a couple of times under my belt. Akram took the time to get us both up to speed. It's really easy (after the first 5 terrifying minutes). Once you're used to driving the Segway, it is second nature. And Barcelona has a lot of bicycle lanes, so we were able to zip through traffic.

City by Segway, fabulous!

I did this tour with my family (all adults 25-55) with Pablo the tour guide! It was fantastic and he was fantastic! Personally, at times I was scared on the Segway and he not only reassured me but helped me on the Segway and by the end I felt so much more confident and comfortable riding. It was so much fun! Pablo’s knowledge of the city was great and very informative. I would recommend the Segway tour to anyone wanting to learn about Barcelona in a very fun way!

Great Experience

Our tour was with Oscar and he was fantastic! We had a short lesson and off we went. I highly recommend it if you want to see more of the city in a fun way.

Excellent Fun along the Beach with a Lesson in History.

Small company but big in service. They respond quickly to all questions. I had several and they took the time to respond. When a company responds to your questions, no matter how innocuous they are, it shows they are a reliable company. Tiziana is the operations manager and she responds quickly to all your emails. Oscar is the actual Segway guide and he is excellent in his instructions. Plus he is funny and gives a great commentary of the places we visited while touring the beach front. And he keeps safety as paramount. We ended at the Ciutadella Park before returning to the Segway office. A note. They will send you a google map link for the meeting point. On this link you will see two Segway marks. One is the office. The other one is where you actually meet. It is in a park- The Graffiti Park of Barcelona, Jardin de les Tres Xemeies. So if you go to the park, you are in the right spot! Their Segways seemed to be newer models. At least newer than the one we had in Bermuda last May. Closest metro station there is Paral El. Meeting spot about a 5 minute walk.

Incredible tour of Barcelona

Oscar was incredible, the tour lasted two hours through Barcelona and its ports! It was so much fun!! And Oscar even gave me his gloves because my hands were cold!!! Lovely guy and lovey tour, I couldn't recommend it enough!

Great entertaining and informative history of Barcelona.

This is a great way to see a lot of Barcelona in a limited amount of time -- plus, man o man, Segways are fun! Our guide was great, made sure that we got photos at each photo spot, was very knowledgeable about Barcelona and gave us a great experience.

Bad customer experience

Due to unavoidable and unforeseen issues with travel, we had to cancel only about 6 hours in advance. I realize the cancelation policy is 24hrs but we didn't plan on canceling. I contacted the operator and explained and asked to have a refund. He offered a later time but we couldn't do that because of other reservations. He still wouldn't offer a refund. I would not recommend booking through this operator unless you are absolutely sure your flight/cruise, etc., will always be on time.

Great Segway Experience

Great team at Sun Segway Barcelona. Helpful kind and communicative. Our guide Oscar, was a delight - charming, caring and supportive. He got two over 70's to the top of a mountain and back down again safely. Great experience. Highly recommended experience. Great job guys!

One of the best things we did on our trip

We had so much fun zipping around Barcelona and our guide oscar was both fun and knowledgeable. I highly recommend everyone to give it a go. I had arranged the tour as a surprise for my boyfriends bday and they were even kind enough to provide him with a bottle of cava.

Wonderful and fun

Great tour with loads of historic facts and Oporto take photos. Our guide Oscar was very funny and very professional. I had two ladies with me that were nervous to do the Segway for the first time but they both did really well and one is now a Segway convert and will always Segway in a new city. It’s a great way to get your bearings. Recommended

Oscar was a fantastic guide. Smart. Funny. Kind. Informed. We loved our tour. Neither too long nor too short. Just enough history for teenagers and a good Segway speed.

Excellent tour, defo recommend

My 2 daughters and I booked a 2 hour Segway tour of Barcelona this weekend, we did the 10-12am tour so it wasn’t too hot. The tour guide spoke several languages and had excellent English. Oscar is very funny and friendly and immediately put us at ease & taught us how to ride confidently in a few minutes! He took us on an expert knowledgable tour of all the historic monuments, Beach, park and areas of the city we wanted to such as les rambles and port Olympia where we were going clubbing that evening. He also offered us half the tour in the mountains, a more scenic route at no extra charge if we wanted, however we prefered just to go around the city. He took plenty of photos for us too. A perfect excursion for any tourist, really helps you learn how to get around! I cannot recommend enough - defo check it out, worth the money (only €42 pp when booked online at sun Segway tours) The only thing I would say is the meeting point is at a skate park and there weren’t any signs up. We weren’t sure whether the tour was on but waited until 10am then Oscar arrived with his segways!

A lot of fun for the family

Our guide, Oscar, is very nice and knowledgeable. He took time to help us get used To it and was very patient while we took pictures. The store also let us store our luggages.

A wonderful experience!

This afternoon, we went on a Segway tour with Pablo - His knowledge was incredible, the places he showed us whilst out on the Segway’s were just brilliant, places we didn’t even know existed despite having done 2 days of walking around the city already. Brilliant, unique and fun.

A brilliant, unique and fun way to see the City with a knowledgeable personal guide. I learnt a lot and am grateful to Adriano, our guide, who looked after us. Ask for him if you want a guide who is passionate about the history and beauty of the City, answers any question, and makes it a unique experience which is much better than from a tour bus.
