It was a unique experience, cycling through quiet and green scenery so close to the busy and noisy Bangkok. Tour is very good organised, it was just the three of us. We got lots of information on plants and animals living in this area. Bikes were comfortable and in good condition. You need to have a good balance as the track in the jungle is narrow, It was a really good fun. We had sticky rice mango at a local shop at the end of the tour which was fantastic, and even someone with gluten intollerance like me could enjoy some treat.

Nice Bike Tour!

The bike tour with Aod was great. We, a family from Germany with kids 12 & 13, had a lot of fun despite the heat and it was nice to see a quieter side of Bangkok. The bamboo bikes are also very cool! We rode through the jungle and through a park. We fed fish, watched birds and had lunch in a nice restaurant. For dessert we had sticky rice at a street stall. Aod was very nice and took many photos of us. We recommend the tour to anyone visiting Bangkok.

Fabulous blend of nature, culture, exercise food and beauty all packed into 3-4 hours. So much fun and totally safe

Fantastic variety of cycling, of nature seeing and hearing about all the different plants, fruits and herbs we discovered along our route, of culture when visiting the floating markets and of food when sampling so many local specialties! The most amazing 4 hours to spend on a Sunday morning with such wonderful hosts/ guides. Felt very safe and totally looked after. So many special picture memories too that were taken on our trip and sent over to us soon after we finished. Could not recommend highly enough. A must do trip for sure!

Fun experience

Great experience! Our guide Aod took us around the island at a comfortable pace. The provided lunch and snack at local spots were delicious. A very fun experience to get a break from the crowds of Bangkok! I would recommend and book again.

Bamboo bike tour in Bangkok

Fabulous trip on the bamboo bikes, Aod was a great guide, very knowledgeable and helpful . He took us for a lovely Thai lunch, and also stopped off to have the famous Thai pudding of mango and sticky rice, which was delicious. Lovely to see another side of Bangkok and such a great afternoon. Would totally recommend 👍

An amazing introduction to Bangkachao

Aod and King were so so lovely! I was the only person on my tour so I got a personalized tour that included stops at a local market, park, and bird watching spot. Aod took so many photos of me and was overall so pleasant and answered all my questions!

Oad and his wife and his daughter are very friendly. Four of us went together as a family. We had a good time. We were able to experience other side away from hustling and bustling of Bangkok. Roding the motor boat was a bonus. We really enjoy it. We highly recommend it.

A joyful trip to a beautiful Island

it’s an amazing experience, specially for getting a few hours away from the busy center of Bangkok. This tour is being conducted on an Island in Bangkok, which has a lot to offer. From traditional culture of the people, to remarkable views, and a nice path through jungle for riding a bike in. The guide was dominant and helpful, and shared some interesting information about many things regarding our tour. I had the chance to see a beautiful performance on the Island, which made this tour more valuable to me. All in all, I would recommend this tour to those that want some adventure and peace during their trip to Bangkok.

Incredible experience in nature right near Bangkok!

I loved every minute of this tour with Aot and King! They were wonderful hosts and patiently explained about the plant and animal life and the local area. They also took lots of pictures for me! The lunch and local market (held on Sat and Sun) were also highlights.

Excellent experience

Excellent expérience with our guide Sugar. Very calm, quiet and relax. We enjoyed the easy tour of 16 km. Nice green area far away of the crowded city.

Aod took me on a great tour as sent me photos promptly. The bicycle bamboo and nice, the river boat was also very cool.

Safe and fun tour with Suger

Our guide Suger made sure we were safe on the road and always kept checking on us throughout our tour. Suger is funny, attentive and caring person and you'd feel lucky if you get him as your guide! We got to feed those big catfish, koi and rhino fish in the park and even saw some turtles swimming around. Love those creatures 🐢🦎🐟 We were concerned about the rain as it was early September with 85% chance of thundershower all day. The weather turned out be perfect ☀️ Axel, who handles the booking, also reassured us in advance over the WhatsApp about the weather. My bf found the mountain bike a bit uncomfortable and painful on his bum but it looked very cool on the pictures. Suger gave us options to choose from the regular bikes and bamboo mountain bikes that you see on their website at the beginning and I was happy with my regular bike. There are many street dogs and cats on the island🐈🐕

Super fun and must do tour on bamboo bikes!

What a great tour this was! After we had a little difficulty explaining our taxi driver to go the meeting point, we met our guide Aod in front of the 7-11. He was so kind to give us some extra time to get breakfast. We took a longtail boat across the river, where we were given our Bamboo bikes and some bottles of water for the tour. The next 2,5 hours we spent cycling over narrow paths in the jungle and the park, had a freshly cooked pad thai for lunch, sticky rice with mango and a fresh coconut. Aod is a very friendly and professional guide who knows the area very well. We all loved this tour and absolutely reccommend it. Although there are many tours you can do, this is the only one on bamboo bikes, which makes it super special!

Unique experience

Very unique experience. Go in a weekday. There was nobody on the park and roads. I saw many birds and a couple lizards. It was interesting to see how people live in the island. Love nature!

Worthy

We went there for the company event. Everyone enjoyed and had a very good experience. The tour guides was polite and frendly and he can speak good English. I recoomended that this tour is wothy :)

Stop scrolling !! This is hands down the best tour in town. The bikes were new. The helmets were brand new. We fed the fishes, strolled through the market, visited temples and had fabulous food for lunch. It was simply fantastic I highly recommend it.

Great day on wheels

Great tour. The two guides were really nice and took good care of us. Tasted some really wonderful food and went places that we would never have found on our own. Would definitely recommend this tour.

Definitely a worthwhile experience

This was a fun afternoon cycling about a very picturesque place. Our guide was very enthusiastic and shared many interesting facts and anecdotes along the way. Definitely worthwhile, even if your cycling skills are a bit rusty. It's not an especially challenging ride, and there's lots of stops along the way, so this should be suitable for most people of all ages to participate in. Unfortunately my partner was unable to successfully navigate the narrower raised paths, so we were relegated to the larger roads, and therefore I suspect we missed some of the better scenery, but this was no great drawback. This is a highly recommended adventure for those seeking a bit of country charm and tranquility without venturing out of Bangkok. I would've liked to have seen the mushroom farm and bird watching tower, but these didn't make the itinerary on the day.

Great way to see green spaces!

This was a great tour! It says easy, but I am out of shape and I did not find it easy! We saw many amazing sights and our tour guide was very nice to us when I couldn't get up a hill. He had lots of things to say which was awesome and showed us great sights. The meal in the middle was one of the best we had in Bangkok so far! The only thing is the guide took lots of pictures, but I haven't received them yet.

City escape

Great way to escape the city and enjoy the nature. I takes only few minutes to cross the river. Very peaceful and perfect place for biking.

Island life inside Bangkok

It was such a fun escape from Bangkok. The bikes are so fun to ride. I’m picky about bikes but these are well-made and cool. The tour is relaxed and interesting. It’s nice to walk around the Honestly, but there are a lot of wild dogs so we didn’t go far.

Amazing Tour once again!

Did this Tour already a couple of years ago,but this time came back with my Management Team. We all had a great day, enjoyed the Island, the bike riding, the food and the Tour Guides. Bamboo Bikes are really cool and I loved riding them. Can only recommend this Tour.

We had a great time with Som. The tour started with a memorable "James Bond" river boat. We got our bikes and Som preceded to ride 12 easy miles on narrow concrete trails suspended above the jungle slough. The was alot of of food tasting at several locations. We went to the Floating Market, a temple, a mushroom farm. It was a memorible tour. Some took several pictures.

Bamboo Bicycle Tour in the Jungle of Bangkok

We finally chose an attraction we would pay for instead of getting lost by ourselves again and joined the bamboo bicycle tour in Bangkok. What looked to be a wet wetter ride due to the expected rain turned out to be a glorious jungle experience on a real bamboo bicycle. Amazing how green and quiet the area was compared to the last few days in the city. We could however still see crazy busy Bangkok city right in front of our nose across the river when we stopped to visit an ancient local community where they still live in wooden houses built on wooden poles. We saw blue red and green birds and some huge lizards roaming the dense green area. Our guide took us to the oldest temple of the province where faded old colorful paintings beautified the doors and walls. When we stopped at the local Thai mushroom farm we got the chance to taste some amazingly sour fruit and delicious fried mushrooms. After the tour, we decided to eat at the restaurant there. Everything was so local, delicious and cheap. The experience dining right at the river overlooking Bangkok watching the sun go down till the city lights began to twinkle was another treat. The tour guide ate with and after dark, we were surprised that he took us on a boat ride along the shore to watch for fireflies and we saw many. I never thought that would look so much like Christmas ;) The boat driver then dropped us at the pier again where we arrived before. I also never expected it to be so near to our Hotel at Silom road, we could almost see the hotel the whole time from what they call ‘the green Island or lung of Bangkok’. I can highly recommend this tour if you want to experience something completely else than the busy Bangkok city. Worth mentioning is that we saw they now offer also a homestay or hotel like stay right at the same spot the tour starts and looked so nice. Really cheap also, so next time I will bring more friends and stay right there because I love that place!

The other side of Bangkok

The owner and the guide are knowledgable about the area, and they both speak very good English, so you can hold engaging conversations with them. The tour was an eye-opener. As a local Thai, born and raised in Bangkok, I did not realize that such a place exists. Unfortunately, one could see signs of pending gentrification in the area. There's a visit to local "museum" that wasn't quite worth the time, although the owner was extremely kind and hospitable. The interesting part would have been him demonstrating how to collect coconut tree nectar, and churning it into palm sugar, but he told us he has stopped doing so due to his back pain. We could only learn from him how he collect them, and seasonality of the produce. One can possibly avoid this if you our request so and specify your interests: the owner of the tour company and the guide would be glad to customize the trip for you. The highlight for me was the first stop: a visit to local mushroom farm. It was not an organized and well-planned education session, but I managed to learn a lot because I can speak Thai with people in the farm.

Our experience

Absolutely recommended if you want to escape the hustle and bustle of Bangkok and get to know the habitat of the people from Bang Kachao. A +/- 15km bike ride through a beautiful green environment, combined with sufficient drink breaks and 2 stops to eat Path Thai and Mango sticky rice. @Sugar; as i told you, keep up doing this good job and keep showing people how beautiful your place is.

After a tropical rain shower, the guide Sugar picked us up at a red mailbox. Crossed the river in a small boat to get on my bike. A beautiful bike ride through green nature with an occasional stop. Visited a local covered market (floating market). Had a delicious lunch in a local restaurant. The guide was very attentive and helpful. He took photos and videos along the way (really great). Recommended!

Es war wunderschön. Tolles Erlebnis. Eine Seite von Bangkok, die man sonst nicht erleben kann. Aod der Giude konnte alle Fragen beantworten. Auch der schwimmende Markt - sehr beeindruckend

La jungle dans Bangkok

Pour ce tour il faut être à l'aise en vélo, car les passages sont étroits, a l'aise en anglais, si on souhaite les info culturelles et il faut aimer manger, car le pad thai suivi du riz gluant arrosé de lait de coco à la mangue fraiche tiennent au corp. Aod, mon guide, est adorable. Ce tour est une merveille de sérénité comparée à la frénésie et au bruit de Bangkok. Le contraste est saisissant. Nous avons vu un énorme varan, entendu le chant d'un oiseau que j'ai pensé être un singe, une végétation incroyable. Cette île, préservée de l'humain est un paradis. À faire absolument.

The kindness of the two guides made me fall in love with Thailand.

I came here for my first solo trip overseas for 4 nights and 6 days. This tour was the most fun part of the itinerary. My guides AOD and KING (sorry if I got their names wrong) were kind to me, who doesn't speak English well, and were knowledgeable about the nature of Bang Kajao. The rich nature where only the birds sing can be heard, and cycling in the cool air was amazing. AOD was very good at giving instructions on how to pose when taking photos, and sent me photos he took during the tour on Line. The mangoes I ate at the Khao Niao Mamuang restaurant on the way were the sweetest I've ever had in my life. I hope to see the two guides again.

Gemütliche Velotour durch Bankoks grüne Oase der Ruhe

Es war ein toller Ausflug, wo alles reibungslos geklappt hat, der Guide Aod und seine Frau haben sich total nett um mich gekümmert, ohne aufdringlich zu sein. Ein schönes Erlebnis, für alle sehr zu empfehlen.

Fantastische fietstocht door de jungle van Bangkok

Vandaag, op 6 november 2019. Een prachtige fietstocht gefietst bij deze maatschappij. We werden netjes ontvangen door een netjes sprekende manager genaamd SOM. De toer begint met het oversteken van een grote rivier. Daarna kies je een fiets uit gemaakt van Bamboo, onder het genot van een koud flesje water. In alle rust mag je de fiets afstellen en daarbij wordt je geholpen. Onze gids was Jobe. Een vriendelijke Thaise meneer geboren in Bangkok. Vol rust en vriendelijkheid kregen wij alle tijd om ons klaar te maken, totaal geen haast. De tour bevind zich op een eiland trouwens. Het eiland bestaat uit bamboo, water en enkele velden en geasvalteerde wegen. De tocht gaat over kleine paden tussen de bamboo jungle door. Totale rust in vergelijking met de rest van Bangkok. Je rijdt langs de huizen van mensen en krijgt echt een kijk in hun leven. Zo stop je ook bij een tempel met een netjese uitleg van gids Jobe en krijg je op meerdere plaatsen een culturele versnapering en drankje. De Gids, Jobe, spreekt prima Engels en kan je echt veel vertellen. Wat ons het meest is bij gebleven is de ontdekking van een andere wereld binnen in Bangkok. Het vertelde niet perse veel over Bangkok zelf. Het was voor ons zeker de moeite waard op dit mee te maken en kijken er positief op terug. Dit komt absoluut door de glimlach, het onthaal en de gastvrijheid van deze organisatie. Op de terug weg, na dat de toer was afgelopen. Hielp De Gids ons als nog terug komen naar het hotel. Dit was even lastig vanwege het drukke verkeer. Besef heel goed dat de mensen niet perse een maandaalaris verdienen. Dus wij vonden het belangrijk en waardevol om de gids een fooi te geven en iets achter te laten bij enkele goede ziekenfondsen die je op weg tegenkomt. Juist door de personen die wij ontmoet hebben geve wij deze tour een 9/10.

Divertido

Sin duda lo recomiendo a cualquiera, el guía sugar fue muy amable siempre con una sonrisa contestaba todas mis preguntas, no solo me guió por la zona si no también me presento la gente y algunas de las constimbres. Me describió el lugar y su historia. Disfrutamos de un buen día sin lluvia y a mi que me encanta montar en bici fue la escursioj perfecta.

Fietsen in Bangkok maar net even anders

Even weg van alle drukte en chaos? Dan kun je in Bangkok ook een mooie fietstocht maken in de natuur aan de andere kant van de rivier. Onze gids Sugar liet ons alle daar mooie plekjes zien. Je kunt er vogels spotten en paalwoningen bezoeken. Contact met lokale bevolking zonder alle toeristen. De fietsen zijn trouwens van bamboe, ook leuk. Echt een aanrader!

Super fietstour!

Een prachtige tour door de jungle. Er is heel veel te zien. Ze zijn erg vriendelijk en kunnen goed engels! De fietsen fietsen heerlijk en tijd vliegt zo voorbij. Van alle fietstours die we in Bangkok gedaan hebben, vinden we deze veruit de beste! Zeker een aanrader!

Super tocht met een unieke fiets

Wij hebben een unieke tocht kunnen maken door de jungle heen op smalle paden met heel veel natuur. Goed begeleid door de gids en de lichte bamboo fietsen, fietsen geweldig! zeker een aanrader om te doen.

Tolle, sehr individuelle Tour

Wir haben als Paar diese Tour gemacht und hatten das Große Glück, dass wir alleine mit unserem Guide Teeraphan waren. Der Guide war super nett und war sehr bemüht uns eine tolle Tour zu bieten - was ihm absolut gelang! Er hat sogar die Tour etwas in die Länge gezogen, weil er wie auch wir noch Zeit hatten. Die Fahrräder sind sehr interessant gebaut, sehen toll aus und lassen sich gut fahren! Wir würden die Tour auf jeden Fall weiter empfehlen!
