Excellent guide, excellent driver, comfortable car and very fun trip

Excellent trip, excellent guide, excellent driver and excellent car. The day trip was very educating and I learned a lot about Buddhism and Thailand. The guide had really good attitude and could answer the questions I had, really nice person, very good English. I felt like really being taken care of. She also helped everyone by taking pictures of them for them so we wouldn’t have to worry about taking only selfies, but actual pictures of us. Also the restaurant we had lunch at was excellent, they did everything to our taste and it wasn’t expensive. The car was convenient and had good air conditioning and comfortable seats and we got even a bottle of cold water. I recommend this trip with all my heart!

Our visit of Ayutthaya couldn't have been better! Perfect balance between guided tour and autonomous exploration!

We booked a tour at the regular price and were expecting to go with a group of 10 or so tourists to see Ayutthaya. Luckily for us we were the only two people who booked a tour that day and so we got a private tour with our guide Tim and our driver. This shows their commitment to providing great service. Tim brought us treats, souvenirs and chilled Chinese herbal tea to give us an incredible start of our trip to Ayutthaya. Not only did we get to see all the listed locations but Tim gave us a lot of background knowledge on the sites we were seeing and she was always ready and nice about answering all of our questions - Ayutthaya related and otherwise! We also received great food and Tim also invited us to a sweet treat! A lot of effort, dedication and respect for the tourists is put into this tour and we definitely recommend it to anyone who wishes to see Ayutthaya in a day! Thank you once again!

Great temples for a first timer

Good tour guide, good places. We came from Angkor Wat, so we could’ve skipped this tour really. Lunch was excellent.

The day trip was amazing as was our guide Wan. She was very informative about Thailand's history and culture related to the sites we visited. The van had air conditioning which was very appreciated. Our chauffer also knew the roads well. We went early in the morning which was great considering the temperature was very high in the beginning of the afternoon. We highly recommend.

Good trip

Great guide, koi, was warm, friendly and a fountain of knowledge. This trip was fantastic but long and by the final temple was exhausted in this heat. Highly recommend it as this historic UNESCO site is well worth a visit.

Nice tour to visit the temples of Ayutthaya. The guide was very friendly and provided us with a lot of historical context.

Exceptional Host

Wan is absolutely the best, it was a fantastic trip and driver Nu was exceptional and helpful . Even though the day was hot we were given ample cool water and wet cool cloth to keep us comfortable.

Amazing Ayutthaya tour!

My guide was Wan and she was amazing! Even though the day was hot we were given alot of water + wet towels to refresh ourselves at every stop! The driver Nu, was incredibly helpful and kind as well! Best tour I’ve been on!

Lovely solo guid tour through Ayutthaya

I had a perfect experience today, I was fortunate enough to be the only person on that tour. It gave a great opportunity to listen carefully and have a nice chat with my guide. I was also lucky to experience lokal street food, instead of going to an restaurant. The driver also did his best. Overall I had an great experience today, I would recommend this tour to anyone who visits Bangkok/Thailand.

Don’t miss!!

Guide was amazing took us around a bunch of temples, gave good and entertaining information. Showed amazing picture spots and offered to take pictures for everyone each time. If you have extra time you should stay over night highly recommend don’t miss it!!

Very good experience on a very hot day

My girlfriend and I ended up having a private tour, as we where the only guests scheduled for the day. This meant the driver and guide where trying a lot to make us decide a lot on our own. Where to eat, when to stop etc. They offered water and a fresh coconut as to say sorry for the door that broke on the van. Very professional and good sense of humor from the tour guide,

Highly recommend

The temples were amazing! Our tour guide Tanya was incredible! So informative and really lovely to spend the day with, the driver was also very accommodating and made sure that he was close for the pick up after each temple and had cold water ready for us. Lunch was fantastic (Tanya helped us to pick out some delicious dishes) and was very affordable. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone, once in a lifetime kind of experience.

It’s a bit too long...

It’s a bit too long looking at temples all day. The lunch is a tourist trap! You’re better of taking a sandwich with you. I paid 150 Bahts for the worst spring rolls I’ve ever had. Others were shocked at the cost of their lunch too, but you’re so exhausted by the time you get there that you need food for energy to keep going—that’s what they’re counting on.

Authentic

Views were amazing! Our guide Wan warmed our hearts, and filled us with information! Weather was too hot, can't really complain about that though. Felt taken care of.

Nice experience solo traveler

Really good experience, Sunday (guide) was very good and informative. Even helped to use the overground after the tour had ended.

Great tour of the old temples in Ayutthaya. Piya was a great guide with lots of information about when and why the temples were built. He even pointed out all the best places to take great photos. The van was also quite comfortable. I'd highly recommend this!

Amazing walking tour with our guide Aoi

Amazing walking tour with our guide Aoi. We got picked up from the hotel on an air con mini bus and started the journey into Ayutthaya. We stopped along the main temples around the city and with very detailed explanations of the religion and symbolisms of all the temples. Also stopped to grab some food at a local place and got given plenty of water and breaks throughout as it was very hot. Thanks so much to our lovely guide for the tour 🇹🇭

Amazing tour guide!

The guide tour Aoi has been very helpful and caring. I was sick during the day of the tour so I didn’t see many of the sites but we went to many important tourist attractions in Ayutthaya. She is very knowledgeable about the sites and explain it very well. Very recommended!

Awesome visit to 2nd ancient capital of Siam

We had the full day tour and we thoroughly enjoyed the historical significance of our visit, but our guide’s English was very limited. He was a skilled driver and that was appreciated.

Not as expected

Unfortunately we didn’t enjoy very much this tour as it was quite hard to understand the explanations of the guide due his poor english level. In addition, the van didn’t have a functioning air conditioning system, hence also the trip with the van wasn’t very enjoyable.

Good guide, the guy is very nice and we saw the most important temples inside the car it's q bit hot, it would be better with AC instead of fans.

Enjoyable day trip to Ayuthaya

Very good trip. The guide was friendly and knowledgeable. The group size was small and the transportation was comfortable. The pace of the tour was just right with a stop for lunch. Had plenty of opportunities to take photos and wander through the sites. Would recommend.

Delightful Ayutthaya Temple Tour

Piya was a wonderful guide, we had a smaller group so he tailored the tour to allow us to see more temples and taught us so much about the history of the Thai people in a way that was fun and interesting. He also enjoys photography, and helped us take lots of amazing photos, showing us the best places to stand, and snapping photos for us. I highly recommend this tour, and doing it early on in your trip as you learn about lots of other fun things to do in Bangkok and the rest of the country.

Amazing day

Very nice tour. Perfect amount of time to every places. Makes it very simple to visit Ayutthaya, having an AC van to get from place to place. Our guide Sunday was very nice and provided the perfect amount of explanations, though sometimes difficult to understand. 100% worth it!

Super trip, super guide

a very nice trip to Ayutthaya, which is about 85km away from Bangkok. The first stop visiting a temple was outside the city. Second stop was in a restaurant. After that we arrived wat mahatat. Last stop were the famous pagodas. But best of all was our tour guide, her name is wan. She explaind every detail in a wonderful way. After returning to Bangkok, she led us thru chinatown.Thank you wan.

Nice day in Ayutthaya, good guide explanations and no rush. Beautiful ruins. Nice nature, Budhas and places to take photos!

Nice trip but poor tour operator

The trip were nice but the guide tour had a very poor english, it was very hard to understand him. Moreover, the restaurant we went for lunch were way too expansive for what it was and there were defintely an agreement between the guide and the restaurant. Felt a little scammed.

5 star tour

We had a very enjoyable tour due to our guide’s enthusiasm for the sites. We saw many fascinating temples, some which are less visited.

Historic capital

Guide very passionate and knowledgeable. Pleased it focuses on historical and no shopping or distractions. Spoke a little fast.

It was an amazing trip and our guide was amazing as well.highly recommended .it was really something to see all the old temples and history of ayuttaya.thanks and I will definitely visit again

A must

The Restaurant associated with the excursion had awful service. Rice served with vegetables first, meat came half an hr later. I was the kast to eat in a group of 8. By then, everything was cold. Knowledgeable tour guide, overall good experience. It was too hot and humid, some places do offer umbrellas free of use.

Great trip, great guide, inconvenient location; comfortable bus and only 7 travelers plus driver and guide.

All 5 sites visited were terrific and the place we were take for lunch on the water was good. You could choose to be outside or in the air conditioning which was great on a very hot day. We chose this tour for the itinerary and it did not disappoint. Guide was thoughtful, pleasant and very knowledgeable. Could have used more time to shop at some spots, but not a big deal. Biggest negative with this tour company is having to make your way to and from pickup spot, especially finding transportation on your own at the end of the day during rush hour without assistance. Unless you can get comfortable with the skytrain, transportation adds significantly to the cost of the trip.

Cannot recommend

Unfortunately I cannot recommend this tour. Piya, our guide, was lovely and had lots of historical information, but the tour is poorly planned, misleading, and takes advantage of tourists. I booked the 7:30am start time, assuming we’d be to Ayutthaya by 9 and see a few temples before lunch and the heat really set in. We didn’t leave Bangkok til 9:30, then stopped at Bang Pa In Palace, which is on the itinerary, but is not what you expect when going to Ayutthaya. Better to remove that from the itinerary. It’s a waste of time and money. We saw only one temple before lunch. They took us to an expensive restaurant with mediocre food and even worse service. We didn’t have a choice to eat elsewhere. I recommend the company pick a different restaurant or give tourists the option of several restaurants. Then it was 1:30, miserably hot and we’d still only seen one temple. The ruins are absolutely gorgeous, and I highly recommend seeing them. Just pick a different company or go in your own. Our guide was lovely though and had great suggestions for good photo opportunities and encouraged us to have him take our photos on our own phones.

Piya was truly a great guide !!

The tour was very nice and well planned. The guide took great pictures of us and had a good background knowledge about the places. He helped us with vegetarian food options and took us to a good place for lunch. All in all, it was very worth it
