its really nice tour , both driver & tour guide are very good & helpfull . This tour would be the best on Oct - Des because the waterfall will have more water but still worth to viist in any month

History and nature at its best.

Fantastic trip to the River Kwai and Erawan waterfalls. My guide Guanwisa ( known as Lisa) was superb. Picked up a very nice traditional place for lunch after insightful tour of the JEAT Museum and the bridge over the river Kwai. The second part of the day we hiked in the Erawan National park with some swimming in the waterfalls. I was lucky enough to be the only one on the tour so had an amazing VIP experience. Lisa pointed out number of plants around with a bit of insights of their use. She was also very attentive and ensured I had plenty of water and some awesome pictures. Kudos goes also to the driver, Nuvo, who made sure I was comfortable. He used Likk for translation of more complex sentences which worked fine.

A wonderful day trip away from the city

This is a wonderful day trip for anyone looking to get out of the city. History and nature combined,both the guide and driver were incredibly friendly and helpful. The trip is too short to get to the very top waterfall and have time for a dip at each level. I made it to level 5. For those wanting to see the waterfall at its peak, our guide advised November is the best time. Still stunning in the dry season though.

Day Trip From Bangkok

As a solo female traveler I felt very comfortable and well looked after. The driver, Fang was professional and the guide Na was excellent. She took many nice photos and was very knowledgeable. Highly recommend.

OneOf the best tours.

Great tour. I was the only one and it was perfect. Na was a great tour guide. I was able to do and see everything I wanted to River Kwai, Death Railway and Erawan Falls is a must. I definitely wiould donut agai.

Small group tour

Tour guide was lovely, bought us water and ice cream 😊 helped me take tons of photos at Erawan falls!

Very informative if you like ww2 history. The boat ride was fun. And then the waterfalls were stunning. But make sure you can climb the side of a mountain. It's all paved/ concrete but HOLY COW are there some straight up climbs! Couldn't have asked for a better guide!

Excellent

Our tour guide, Lisa was great. Very informative and friendly. Worth the 3 hour drive from Bangkok and the hot, sweaty walk to the top of the waterfalls.

Erawan falls and river kwai

Our guide Na and driver Noo took good care of us. Very funny people. Really appreciated the hike to the falls. Bring good shoes it can get steep. The museum tour is done in 15 minutes

Best time !!

The travel guide was beyond nice and very funny. He made the tour 10x better and he was very knowledgeable about the sites we saw.

Great Guides

The tour guide was amazing and very well versed on Thailand and its history. Since it was only the two of us it felt like a private tour the ride was nice and air conditioned and I was able to take a nap along the way to the museum since we had to wake up super early. The entire experience was nice and I highly recommend it

Thank you Frank and Na! Frank drove us safely and swiftly to every destination where Na was our ever helpful guide, filled with positive energy! And she's an excellent photographer! The trip itself was very nice too. Well organised , with good timing to avoid the crowd at Erawan waterfall. I had only hoped the boat trip was a bit longer (I like boats) but on the other hand, then we would have been later at Erawan. You can't have it all.

We loved this trip. Smooth pick-up, drive, drop-off by comfortable car (it turned out to be a private trip) - plenty of time to see the sights, swim in the river, under the waterfalls, or walk up to the top of the waterfalls. Guide and driver were very nice and helpful :).

Nice way to get out of the city

The trip was really nice. Especially, while it’s so hot in Bangkok, it was really nice to get out of the city. Our guide was really kind and took lot’s of pictures. All in all the waterfalls where the most fun part. The bridge was also nice, but more an extra on the trip. The waterfalls where a bit touristic and your had to rent a life jacket in order to be able to go inside. Other than that the trip was very fun!

Well-rounded escape from the city for a day

The waterfalls were really nice and the main reason I took the trip. It was perfect to get out of the very very hot city for a day. Overall a well rounded trip with a little bit of history, a boat ride and some nature and swimming. The mandatory life vests take away some of the adventure feeling, but I guess that keeps it safe for the non-swimmers.

Erawan falls not to be missed

Fantastic experience. We loved the whole trip. Seamless transportation to the museum with our lovely driver who although not speaking English worked very hard with google translate to look after us fantastically. Met our guide Na at the museum. She had so much information for us, made sure everything flowed well and got us to the bridge just in time to see the train coming through. Erawan falls is amazing and not to be missed for nature lovers. We went to levels 2-4 and had time to swim in each. Na took our phones and got some excellent photos of us in the water before leaving us with some free time to explore. She recommended not going any higher than level 4 due to it being dry season and water levels being low but had photos to show us of how it looked when in full flow. Lots of travel ( understandable if you look at a map and see where these sites are compared to Bangkok) but very comfortable. Overall fantastic day out

What a great small group tour ;)

We did a full day visit of the Jeath war museum, visit on the death railroad and finally a few hours at the beautiful Erawan Falls site. We visited these sites in a small group with our guide Lisa. She was very friendly, very helpful, she also gave us great historical and cultural facts... we had a great day!

My only suggestion would...

My only suggestion would be to spend a little bit more time in Kanchanaburi visiting more sites. Excellent guide!

Very nice longtail boat tour

Dominic was such a nice guide, we really enjoyed the boat tour. Perfect to discover hidden places in Bangkok. We can really recommend it.

Swimming at waterfalls

Great Erawan falls, great swim. I reached the 5th level. Less crowded than the lower ones. Good leisure for someone living in Bangkok as for tourists. And Na is very good as a guide.

Highly recommend

Our guide (I think her name was Nana) was so friendly and did a great job! There were only 2 of us so it was like a private tour, which was awesome. The falls are so refreshing, didn't realize that they were fresh water, which made the experience even better

In search of waterfalls

What can I say, Na our guide was awesome! so enthusiastic, helpful and full of information. She is the master of taking great photos and helped take some shots for me while I went for a swim in the falls. Frank our driver was excellent and safe. He was always prompt and on time. The company overall was great with their communication and made sure that I understood everything before the tour. Highly recommend this tour with these amazing people!

A perfect nature and history escape from Bangkok

A mixed-activity day trip escape from Bangkok. I loved walking the bridge over the river kwai, climbing up and swimming in the various waterfalls. The boat ride, JEATH Museum and Dam stops were also great. My guide and driver were both lovely and so helpful throughout, I was very lucky to have them!

Mostly a great experience

The tour didn't feel worth the money. Only one bottle of water was provided for a full day outdoors. The tour guide was kind and took lots of pictures for us, however she kept yelling for me to get in the water when I didn't feel comfortable to. The tour was very rushed. All in all, the sites were interesting and beautiful, but I would have preferred a less stressful environment and more amenities for the price we paid for the tour (like lunch and more waters). Still a solid 4 stars.

Waterfalls and temples

Our tour guide Nan was a lovely experience. The drive was a bit but well worth it. The river tour was lovely. I’d gladly take her tour again. The waterfalls are definitely an experience.

Great Day Out

Enjoyed the long boat ride up to the Bridge. The time spent at the Waterfall was amazing. The guide Na was very professional and helpful and went above and beyond to ensure that everything was done correctly.

Great Experience!

The whole day was very nice. The museum and the bridge was very interesting but the highlight was the emerald waterfalls. I could experience all 7 levels and it was just wonderful. Totally recommend this tour!

Started Out Stressful But Ended Up Wonderful

We had a great time on this tour. Our guide, Na, was terrific! She was cheerful, helpful, knowledgable and a fantastic photographer. I have never had so many wonderful photos taken on a trip. She kept my phone camera a lot of the time and suggested poses and made them look flattering. And she was so much fun to be around; we are smiling widely in all the photos. The Bridge on the River Kwai was very interesting and we walked along the whole bridge. We even got a photo with a train going by. After we paid a little extra to spend 45 minutes in a well done museum where we learned interesting history that we wish would have known before. After we got home we were looking up all kinds of things and are looking forward to watching two movies about the making of this bridge by prisoners of war held captive by the Japanese. Then we went on to the lovely Erawan falls. It wasn’t quite as beautiful as we thought it would be because the water was brown, not blue like in the pictures. And there was a lot of mud. We went up three levels and Na took all kinds of wonderful photos. We swam in the third level and Na helped us get in and out of the water. It’s a bit treacherous and there is a lot of walking involved, even though we only went up to the third level. The swimming was lots of fun! I would love to give this tour a 5 but I can’t because of the poor organization of WanderSiam. They are a new group and I hope they are able to improve. The start of the tour was a bit of a disaster because we had to take a long taxi ride to get to their office and they gave us the wrong address, which caused all kinds of stress and added to the cost of our taxi. The night before they told us we had to be there 15 minutes earlier than planned and we were unable to have breakfast at our hotel, which starts at 6:30. The first 2.5 hours were a taxi ride with a driver who was pleasant and good but the only word he knew in English was “toilet”. Once we met Da at the River Kwai things went from stressful to wonderful. The price was very reasonable because we were with the taxi driver and/or the guide for almost 12 hours. We got back to Bangkok at 7:00 pm. Luckily we met a very interesting young man, who was with us on the tour and we chatted the whole time on the way back. I would highly recommend this tour if WanderSiam could improve the startup.

A fantastic experience

A fantastic experience. Our guide Lisa was excellent, very knowledgeable and friendly. The waterfalls were beautiful however if you have any mobility issues it could be a problem!

One of the most beautiful places I have ever been!!

I done this tour with Na, the best guide I could have hoped for. She is really good at her job and really enjoys telling you all about the bridge and Erewan national park and its waterfalls. I would 100% recommend doing this tour.

Great experience

Absolutely fun filled day. Guide was amazing from the start to finish , very informative great knowledge of history of the bridge.was lucky enough to watch the train pass . waterfalls were amazing even though didn’t get to swim due to Mother Nature.would highly recommend this be prepared for a long day due to travelling time. * recommend watching movie before coming .

Beautiful Erawan waterfall

Iʼm delighted with the excursion, especially for those who enjoy hiking and beautiful nature. I was fortunate to be the only person in the group, which is rare, and we were able to maintain a good pace to see all seven waterfalls. Moreover, it had rained heavily the day before, and the rivers were full of water, making all the waterfalls full and rushing. I really enjoyed the tour guide (Nakwan if I didn't misspell) as she was energetic, very friendly, and during the tour, she was my best friend.

Perfect Day Trip of culture and fun

The best day, action packed but not rushed, plenty of time to take in the amazing views. River ride to the bridge over the River Kwai is great. Lunch with a beautiful view over the Mekong River. And then Erawan Falls to cool you down at the end is perfect! Lisa is a great host and Frank the best driver! Best for couples and independent travellers
