Bangkok Midnight Food Tuk Tuk Tour

An okay experience.

This was my second time joining a Tuk Tuk Food tour in Bangkok. My first time was 7 to 8 years ago and unfortunately this time, the experience was not as well as my previous experience. The guide is cheerful and friendly but the places brought to did not seem to be popular. For example, we were the first group at first eatery and later another group of foreign tourists arrived. There were only 2 or 3 local patrons. There were empty tables around us. The food was good but cold. The next place was a fruits shop, we had pomelo salad, mango sticky rice and mangosteen. The salad was delicious, the others were normal dishes one can eat at any stall. Again, the shop was not crowded. The fried kway teow was the best. Then we walked along the street of Chinatown with a stop at snack stall and we had quick snack. The Tuk tuk drove us past the temple whereas in my previous experience, i walked through the grounds of the temple. Then we went to a rooftop bar for 1 round of drinks and then the flower market. And ended our night. I expected more as my previous experience, I was brought to eateries which were crowded and the tour allowed us to skip the queues and experience popular local cuisines.

Awesome experience.

Everything about this tour was amazing. We stopped at about 5 different sites and each one was unique and delicious! Our tour guide was Preme and she was so friendly, eager, and helpful. Her English was great and she took the time to answer any questions about food in general. The tour is fun because it’s at night so it isn’t too hot and you get to see the city at night. Our tuk tuk driver was friendly and respectful. I would definitely book this tour again and recommend it to anyone who loves to eat good food!

A must do in Bangkok

We had the most amazing experience with our tour guide Mod. Everything was set out perfectly, the food is among the best i’ve ever had in my life. Mod was thoughtful, kind and hilarious

Bangkok Tuk Tuk Food Tour

Our tour guide was Chanya. She was absolutely amazing. When deciding whether or not to do this tour, we were looking at the reviews. I can honestly say, the tour was AMAZING! The food was delicious. Chanya was very knowledgeable about Thai culture, Thia food and other random facts. I highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants an easy way to experience Thai food culture and see Bangkok from a Tuk Tuk.

A night of great food

Excellent night. Great host in Will. Food was interesting and delicious. Driving around in the Tuk Tuks at night was a fabulous experience.

It's a Must Do

Absolutely enjoyable tour, tasting authentic Thai food and street food. Our tour guide Cat was informative and helped us to take pics etc. She was welcoming and friendly. Sweet rice pancakes were delicious and getting to sit at a rooftop bar over looking the river and beautiful temple was a highlight. Great bunch of people on the tour from all corners of the globe. Tuk Tuk driver was a real hoot and made us laugh. Great night out. Amazing experience

Must Do Tour

We do a food tour on every international trip and this one didn’t disappoint. It’s almost a must do in Thailand to truly experience the culture and have a guide show you new tastes at a curated list of places. Guide was friendly and made it a great time!

A Must Do For Travelers Visiting Bangkok

Incredible! Well organized! Amazing variety of foods that all supported local small business. Tour guide was well prepared to speak all the different restaurants and food we were trying. Very knowledgeable. Food was outstanding! Tuk Tuk drivers were also great. Felt safe and very well fed! Had more than a meals worth of food so definitely save your appetite for this tour. Cat, our guide, was awesome!!! This was our first time in Bangkok and am so glad we booked this tour. We would give this more than 5 stars if we could!

Amazing food and fun experience!

Jongkie was amazing!! Went on our honeymoon and she made it extra special. Great food and great experience. We went places we would never have gone on our own which made the experience so worthwhile.

Uniquely brilliant!

A truly unique and brilliant experience especially if you are limited on time in Bangkok. Do go with an appetite!! They food is insanely good, and there is a lot you get to try. Our tour guide Prim was brilliant as was our Tuk-Tuk driver! We would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Bangkok.

Great Street food tour!!

Our Tuktuk midnight street food tour was amazing! Bill was a great host and took time to explain all the dishes, how to eat them and where they originate from. Would definitely recommend!

Amazing food and Tuk Tuk Tour

May was a wonderful tour guide. We learned a lot about Thai culture and ate some amazing food. The tuk tuk were also a cool way to get around!

Wonderful and tasty night

I don't think I ever felt so full in my life, and this includes family gatherings. Our tour guide May explained all the dishes we had, from their origin and region to how they are said in Thai and even took care to ask about spiciness tolerance (absolute zero for me, that papaya salad was not level 2...😅). Had a wonderful time with a great finish at a rooftop bar with prime view to Wat Arun Ratchawararam. Our tuk tuk driver Samlan was super nice as well. Albeit a bit expensive, it's worth it

Great trip

Tonight we had a wonderful time with May guiding us through the colorful streets of Bangkok by night eating delicious food. I would recommend this tour to anyone with limited time in the city.

Great first night in Bangkok

My friend and I loved this food tour. Our guide, Gimeo, picked spots that locals love and frequent. We enjoyed seeing Bangkok at night while taking tuk tuks from place to place. We had great crispy pork, egg noodles, mango with sticky rice, fresh fruit, tom yum goong, chicken satay and more. Doing this our first night, we figured out what dishes we liked and what we wanted to try more of for the rest of the trip! During these stops, Gimeo would tell us about thai culture and food preparation. The stop at a rooftop bar overlooking Wat Arun and the river was a great addition too and a nice place to cool off during the end of the Thai summer. Thank you so much for a great tour!

Best Food Tour Ever!!!!

I really enjoyed the food tour in Bangkok. Chanya was FANTASTIC. She made sure everyone felt welcome and taught us a lot about Thai food and the culture. She always made sure we had enough water, food and gave us hand sanitizer which was a nice touch to the experience. When in Bangkok, you must try this food tour experience, you will not be disappointed and come hungry!!!!

Best Food Tour in Bangkok! BOOK IT ASAP

Bill was an amazing guide! We ate so much food, and Bill made sure that all of the restaurants accommodated my husband’s shrimp allergy. He explained some of ingredients used in the dishes and the story behind each of the restaurants and the dishes we ate. There was so much food included we were so full and the Tuk Tuk drivers were friendly and great too. This was such an amazing way to see Bangkok, try lots of food and have a great time in Bangkok! Can’t recommend this experience more :)

Food tour

Bill our tour guide explained everything before hand had good flare into his tour. He wasn't boring or bland. Answered all questions anyone had. Had energy to 4 hours

A Night of Tasty Treats

Loved the tour. We got to eat so much delicious food ranging from fresh fruits to Michelin star chicken noodle stir fry. Our tour guide May was friendly and informative. Definitely a must try when going to Thailand.

Amazing Tour!

Our tour guide, May, was excellent! She was very organized, knowledgeable, and very cheerful. We loved ALL the foods in our tour. I wish I had a bigger stomach so I could eat all of them! We ended our tour in a rooftop bar overlooking the river with Wat Arun as our view. What an amazing experience in Bangkok!

An exhilarating ride through Bangkok agreed food scene.

Excellent overview of Bangkok street food scene. It includes several restaurants and a trip through China town where we tried several snacks on our way. Our guide Bill was filled with genuine energy and had a story to tell about each dish we tried and every place we visited. A highlight was a walk through the night flower market where we could see in raw form the vegetables and spices that went into the dishes we tried earlier. The tour caps with a visit to a Michelin Bib Gourmand chicken noodle restaurant, but my favorite was a very unusual chicken curry we tried earlier in the evening!

Highly recommend, great time with great food

Such a great tour! Olive was an amazing tour guide! There was plenty to eat and Olive made sure everyone in the group had something they liked. There are tons of places in Bangkok to try but having a guide helped get a variety with little to no wait. The tuk tuks are also so fun if you haven’t ridden in one! Definitely worth it!

Such a fun evening

We had such a great time on the food tour. The food was delicious and there was so much to try! Water at every stop and lots of delicious snacks too. Loved the China town part as well as the trips to the flower market. Lovely end to a fun evening having a cocktail over looking the beautiful bangkok by night over the river. Worth the money!

This was an incredible food tour!!! Our guide Mod was funny and informative during our tour and we were able experience so many different cuisines and locations around Bangkok. I highly recommend it as your first stop in the city, you will not regret it.

Tired of Pad Thai? Try all sorts of great dishes in Bangkok!

We really enjoyed our time on this tour. Neung was a terrific tour guide. She explained everything clearly, was very knowledgeable, and kept our large group organized and on time. We really enjoyed the food we ate, and this introduced us to some Thai dishes we had never had before that were really delicious. The tuk tuk was a lot of fun, and this is a much better way to experience them (since just hailing one on the street can be scammy). This is a great tour. My only note is that I actually think they could make it shorter by about 20-30 minutes, and it would still be worth the price of admission! Thanks, Neung!

Bangkok Food Tour

Bill was an amazing guide, he was very attentive and took care of every detail. We were surprised by the size of the portions at many of the stops. We should have skipped lunch and showed up hungrier. I would recommend this trip for anyone looking to get a feel for the city and sample a lot of food. Especially if you are fortunate enough to have Bill as a guide.

Terrific TT Tour

Tuk Tuk’s were exciting but the selection of local food dishes was awesome. Also well combined with the Lotus Flower folding and rooftop bar drinks. Good allocation of Guides to customers and all spoke good English, especially Bill. All up I have to say great value for what we got!

One night in Bangkok

Informative and fun tour around the food markets in Bangkok. Bill our guide was super helpful sharing great information on not only the food we were eating but the area we were visiting during the tour and also the various areas of Thailand represented by the foods we were tasting.

Great Adventure. Recommended.

We had a great time, everything was delicious! We were very impressed by the care taken to ensure chilli levels were catered to. The finale was so beautiful! Ticked so many boxes on our tourist wish list and a few others we didn’t even think of.

Good food, good tour

Our tour guide, Ice, gave us a great overview of the local Thai foods! My girlfriend is vegetarian, and they did a great job making sure there were meatless options at all of the stops

Average food tour for price

The tour guide did a nice job keeping everyone engaged and riding a tuk tuk around Bangkok kept the temperature bearable. We’ve been on many food tours while traveling throughout Asia and this one is a mid-level experience. Food portions are not big, so if you’re a picky eater, you may be hungry at the end of the tour.

In May we trust

May was wonderful. She had to adjust the normal itinerary because of the festivities going on with Songkran. But she didn't miss a beat since everyone had a great time. We had so much food, it difficult leaving some of it behind since we had more places tl go to. Highly recommend this gem for anyone looking to do some eating, sightseeing & riding around in a Tuk Tuk without any fear of being overcharged.

Lovely tour across different areas of Bangkok!

Great little food tour and so good to be able to get around by Tuktuk which didn’t limit the tour to one area. Also nice to see the flower market, China town & try a variety of sweet and savoury dishes. Our guide May was lovely and explained everything well! They even accommodated my “no pork” diet, the last stop of a bar with view was also great.

Just not a good night!

Our guide was bored and the food wasn't anything extraordinary or anywhere I couldn't have gone myself. As a solo traveler, I was randomly assigned to someone to share my tuk-tuk with. This was no problem until the end when we needed to separate. Long story but I ended up on a dark road on a random street corner waiting for a Grab while my Tuk-Tuk drove off. I took both this one and the Chefs Tour and I have only the highest recommendation for Chefs Tour. Pass on this company and use them, I'm sure you won't have regrets!

A great food tour of Bangkok!

Was a great experience! May was a lovely tour guide and was so accommodating to my peanut allergy which made the whole experience much more enjoyable. Would highly recommend!

Tuk tuk food tour!

We had a good experience with Ice, our tour guide, for a tuk tuk food tasting around Bangkok. Ice took us to 6 different spots which included food, walking around Chinatown, and a flower market. A highlight was a fried chicken noodle place that was delicious! We ended on a rooftop with a gorgeous view of multiple different temples. It was the day before songkran so we were also provided phone protectors, a jasmine lay, and squirt guns.

You won't regret it, unless you don't like food.

First time in Bangkok. By myself. Best decision I made was booking this tour. You get to see alot of Bangkok. Sure, you are speeding by it at night but it shows you what you might want to go see at another time. The food was great at each place we went to. It also included a trip to the flower market which wasn't even on my list of things to see. I'm so glad I did get to see it. Very worth it. The tour ends at a bar with an incredible view. I would definitely do it again!

Must Do Food Tour!

This food tour is a must do in Bangkok IMO. It was definitely the highlight for me. May, our tour guide, did wonderful and spoke English well. Make sure to go hungry because we ate for like 5-6 hours straight. The smallest restaurants earn Michelin ratings here. Food was great. Best fresh sticky rice I had in Southeast Asia!! The other pomelo & prawn dish (Yom Sum O) was amazing as well. The flower market was also beautiful. Highly recommend this one. Bring your own tissue & soap for bathroom use, an appetite & wear comfy shoes.

Great for vegetarians!!!

I was nervous booking a food tour as we don't eat seafood or meat...would we have anything to eat? Would we feel like the tour was a waste of time? From the moment our guide met us, she made us feel at ease. She had arranged for vegetarian options at all the stops. We didn't miss out on anything. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone with dietary issues. Most tours I looked at said "not for vegetarians." This tour guide, Mai, really went out of her way. Thanks!

Amazing ! Must do if in Bangkok !!

This was such an amazing experience ! We did this with our 3 children aged 15, 11 and 11. It was great to go to different places and try lots of traditional Thai food. Loved the time in the flower market and china town really felt we were experiencing local culture. Our guide @Jongkie BKK had a great energy was very knowledgable and really encouraged us to try everything ! The Tuk Tuks were great and lots of fun travelling around in them to different food places . Thankyou for such an amazing tour 😄👍
