Great tour

Cokey was a great guide during the tour. We learned a lot from him about Bandung, Java and Indonesia. He took us to the south of Bandung to show kawah Putih and, hanging bridge, tea fields and hotsprings. Very nice day!

Our favorite guide!

We were on a three week trip through Java and Bali and Cokey was by far our favorite guide! We had special wishes because we wanted to see were our family grew up, Cokey very kindly helped us meet these wishes. He is very knowledgeable about the surrounding area and on top of that very funny! We had a wonderful day because of him and would most certainly recommend him as a guide :)

Stunning day out in West Java

We walked on an active volcano crater, took a long swing-bridge across a volcanic valley, took an open gondola back across the valley, saw beautiful tea plantations and much more all about 90 minutes from Bandung. The best part of the day was our guide Cokey - so knowledgeable, intelligent, fun, humorous and made the trip fabulous. Highly recommended!

a beautiful and memorable experience...

I visited Bandung in October 2023. I was a solo adventurer and it was my first time in the area. I looked at various smaller tours, private tours and private drivers. But what stood out to me was the offerings from Raja Tours Bandung. Specifically the private driver. For me this was perfect as I could customize the day to my liking within the time. As soon as I booked up on Klook I was contacted via Whatsapp with an acknowledgement and subsequent details - which was really nice. In my specific case, I am a keen follower of a youtube vlogger called Dale Philip. As a result of this, I requested the driver Mr Cokey ("cho-kee") as I could see how cool and well informed he seemed to be. Closer to the date, Cokey contacted me to confirm time of pick-up, the agenda and also any additional costs that I would need to envisage (eg. access to specific areas, parking etc.) Throughout the entire experience, he was completely transparent. I appreciated this alot. There are no hidden costs or agendas! I visited Tangkuban Perahu, Domas Crater and The Sari Ater Hot Spring. These were just amazing experiences and the scenery is breathtaking. I have to thank Mr Tamin the local guide who spoke english really well and shared lots of his knowledge of the area. He helped me take some beautiful photos and also ensured I avoid the crowd(s) where possible. There is no pressure to purchase anything or participate in extra activities such as frying an egg or mud massage; but if you have time, I would give it a go! The locals are so nice, friendly and smiley. You cannot help but feel welcome. This part of my journey finished with a lovely ginger tea. Thank you Mr Tamin and team. My love of coffee meant that my journey took me to have a delicious cup of Kopi Luwak. Definitely worth it for coffee lovers. I also had a guided tour of how the coffee is produced and a chance to see the cute animals too and how they are looked after humanely. Throughout this day, Cokey was wonderful as a driver but also with his knowledge of Bandung as a whole. He shared his tips and also his insights into where to go/what to do. Aside from this, we shared mutual interests and it was like I had met a new friend. I finished the day on the rainbow slide (well worth it, even if you are a big kid!) AND some delicious food at the floating market. I super recommend this. Because of my initial experience, I chose to meet Cokey again to explore the south of Bandung. Specifically, Kawah Putih, Rengganis Crater areas. These are literally "out of this world".. how amazing what Mother Nature can create AND you are standing right in it! It was like being on another planet. I then tried a volcanic mud treatment which was so appropriate and is amazing on your skin! Make sure you dip in the volcanic water! Its well worth it! So many properties to help cure or aid skin problems. We finished the day with a delicious local lunch. Although I have only summarized some of the things I did on my trip. I cannot stress how wonderful Raja Tours are. Extremely professional. I feel I have made a friend with Mr Cokey and miss Bandung dearly. I know I shall be back as ALL the people I met helped make my experiences forever lasting. Super recommend!!

What a memorable trip

Steven is a very good guide. When we chat a day before the trip I asked him to go to the coffee shop. Unfortunately, the coffee shop was closed but guess what? He brought hot coffee along with 2 cups for us. He offered me a mitten because he saw me freezing. Thank you Steven, it was a nice trip.

The tour was great! our driver, Mr Budi fetched us from the hotel on time & welcomed us warmly. Hes always checking on whether we are ok & if we need to use the toilets. He speaks English well too! We even requested for him for our second tour there! Nice meeting you Mr Budi!

Great tour to the north of Bandung with driver Ega - definitely recommend

We had a great time on the tour with Ega to the north of Bandung. Not only did we manage to see everything we wanted with some great insides in the country, the culture and the different places we visited but Ega gave additional recommendations, information and knew always the best places. So we could take some great pictures and admire the view with no other or just barley other people. Definitely recommend and it doesn't matter if you want to go south or north 🙏

Lovely experience exploring Kawah Putih

We had an amazing day exploring Kawa Putih and Mount Rengganis. We started the tour with going to the Rengganis crater. We went on the Suspension bridge, relaxed at the hot spring and explored the crater. After that we enjoyed some tea with an amazing view over the tea plantation in a cafe near the crater. On the way to Kawah Putih we stopped off at another lovely viewpoint. Kawah Putih is a really cool volcanic lake with dead trees around, it looks like from another world. After that we went for a nice lunch and ended the day with a foot massage (There's an option to get a massage, we got 10% off and the rest we paid ourselves but it's not very expensive). They bring you from the massage place back to the hotel. Cokey, our guide is super friendly and gave us a lot of interesting information regarding the craters but also about Indonesia in general. He also gave us some advice regarding our ongoing travels. Ropan our driver was also very kind and brought us everywhere safely. I would definitely recommend the tour! It's a great experience with lovely people and you definitely learn a lot more about the area and Indonesia.

Fun day trip with excellent guide

This trip was awesome, especially because we had Cokey as our driver and guide. He is fluent, knowledgeable, organized, and friendly. The views were stunning and we got some great photos for friends and family. Favorite parts were Kawah Putih, the suspension bridge, and the local coffee at lunch.

Ega was our dedicated driver for the tour. As it is a private tour, Ega was very accomodating to cater to our requests. He provided recommendations to photo spots and food. Our tour guide and driver was Steven. He is very trustworthy, friendly, fun and very knowledgeable on all the tourist attraction places in Indonesia especially in Bandung. He is very accommodative to the needs and expectation of the tourist. He introduce us a wonderful tasty coffee which uplifted our health, energy and mood. Everyday we started on tour places with his great smile, fun talk and with his wonderful coffee. Wonderful and fun time in Bandung. Bandung Trip November 13, 2018

This was a long overdue review hahaha... Anyway, my friend and I had a wonderful time visiting the beautiful places such as Lake Kawah Putih, Tangkuban Parahu, and the European-themed Village (forgot the name) in Bandung in November 2018 not September 2022 (as dropdown list is only until here :)). Our driver Steven arrived on time, was very friendly and followed our requested itinerary. He was also a good photographer during our trip and recommend the place to eat. If you want to visit Bandung, you can book this private car charter. Kudos to the wonderful service.

Day trip with a friend

Steven was our driver and tour guide on our unforgettable day trip to Kawah Putih from Bandung. We started early in the morning and passed countless rice fields, strawberry plantations and finally coffee trees. Thanks to the early start, the temperatures were comfortable and there were very few tourists on the milky blue crater lake. The journey continued through tea plantations, where we had plenty of time to take beautiful photos. We also visited a strawberry plantation and a deer park. Steven adjusted the tour to our needs and we learned a lot about the country, people and food. He led us to a restaurant where we were the very first guests (new opening). The food was excellent. After the tour Steven helped us out by arranging a transfer for us to Jogya through his friend Ega at the end of Ramadan. We are still grateful to him and Ega for that!! We can 1000% recommend Steven.

Great trip

Steven was an excellent driver, knew the place inside out and had recommendations for everything, from sites to food. He was also really friendly and warm ,and accommodated all our requests. We had a really wonderful trip thanks to Steven and would definitely recommend him!

Volcano sight seeing north of Bandung.

We hired Steven to take us on a tour of the volcanos north of Bandung. He arrived on time, was courteous and the vehicle was in very good condition. He connected us with excellent guides and made sure we had a great day.

Very kind and thoughtful driver

We really had a great experience with Steven. He is really kind and honest, also very thoughtful and he helped us a lot with some personal questions and showed us besides the more touristic places also some local places. We saw so much during our 2 days in Bandung because of him. I would highly recommend him!

We had the pleasure to be driven by Cokey all day. He was the best! The communication about the dayplanning was very clear. Cokey is very good in managing your expectations. The whole day was a pleasure to been driven by him. He talks fluently English and knows a lot of Indonesia, the culture, the history, the people and all the dutch influences and inheritances. I have learned more from him about Indonesia this day than I have learned my whole life. Apart from his knowledge, he was also genuine interested in our story aswel. Off course we went to see beautiful sites of Bandung, more than we expected thanks to Cokey's guidance, but we will remember this trip mostly because of our special encounter with Cokey. Special: it was fun singing with him 'Geef mij maar nasi goreng' from Tante Lien (Wieteke van Dort). And -also very important- we felt perfectly safe the way he drives. So everybody who will have the pleasure of being driven bij Cokey: enjoy!

Our driver is Cokey, He is very nice and fluent in English. Although, our plan is so intensive ( we go to north and south of Bandung in the same day), he can manage our trip smoothly.

Beautiful places to visit: Ciwidey, Rancabali, Warung Kopi Gunung. Steven is a great guide.

Ciwidey was beautiful. The color of the Kawah Putih lake is greenish blue not white. The rancabali teaplantations are even more beautiful. Such a calming landscape. The trees are really old. We learned about the origin of white tea, green tea an black tea and about the lemongrass growing among the tea. Had a delicious lunch at Warung Kopi Gunung. Try the nasi liwet! Rancabali resort and Ranca Upas were nice to visit. Steven, our guide, could tell us lots facts and myths about all the places we visited and more. Very interesting stories. Very friendly guy. I surely recommend this trip. We had a fun day and learned and experienced a lot about Java and the Bandung area in particular.

Take a tour outside of the city life!

Steven was such a nice driver and tour guide! I wrote down some places I wanted to visit and he told what was the best route to take. He showed me the most beautiful places outside the city life of Bandung. Some places were very touristic to my taste, but I understand it because those were the hotspots and they were really breath taking. I saw beautiful green landscapes, te plantations, lakes and hot springs and at the hot spring I also did a mudmask. I had such an amazing day and highly recommend to do a tour!

The views were amazing and Steven, our guide from Rajatour could take nice pictures for us. He also accommodated to our request to go hotspring and even prepared umbrellas for us when it rained.

Best tour and guide

Booked a private solo tour to explore the Southern part of Bandung. My guide Steven was friendly and explained the history of the places that I had visited such as the Crater Lake! I also got to explore other places such as the tea plantations, deer conservation area, hot springs (with a zip line on top of it) and glamping! Steven ensured that the private tour was worth every penny!

A well prepared and nice driver for an amazing day

It was really easy to get a driver even on short term. He picked us up at our accommodation. The driver spoken fluently English, he was really nice and easy to approach. He knew the area well and even proposed multiple other options on what we could do during our day. We had a great time with him and he made sure we got anywhere safe and no one bothered us. It was a wonderful day with a wonderful driver, I would really recommend using this car charter.
