Must see Sunset when in Greece!

This was one of our favorite tours. Our driver Kostas was fantastic. He was on time, considerate, friendly and knowledgeable. We felt very safe on this tour as it is a lot of driving and stopping at various sites. Because I booked this a little too early our guide contacted us ahead of time to reschedule so that we made sure to be at the Temple of Poseidon at the right time to grab a bite to eat, walk around, get pictures and then get settled for the incredible sunset. I highly recommend this tour!

Amazing place, amazing guide

Fotios was an amazing guide. Very knowledgeable, helpful, patient and got us there right before the buses of huge crowds started to arrive. He shared the legend behind the temple and it gave us a great perspective as we took our time admiring the scenery without having to wait our turns for photo ops.

Poseidon Sunset Tour with Fotios was amazing. Very smooth ride and he gave us tips where to go and he was always very professional and friendly throughout. I would highly recommend both the tour and the driver.

Amazing Coastal Drive to See the Sunset

We had a great afternoon/evening with Fotis as our driver to see sunset at the Temple of Poseidon. We had some recorded commentary on the way out with Fotis pointing out sights. Sunset at the temple was gorgeous. Had a great conversation with Fotis on the way back to Athens. Highly recommend this trip.

Great trip

Fotis was a kind, considerate and knowledgeable driver and guide. He told us about the local interest sites along the way. We had a wonderful time at Posiedons temple. The sunset was beautiful and Fotis advised us to stay 10 mins after.most had left to see the temple light up. Amazing. Highly recommend this trip!

Amazing Sunset Tour

Kostas was prompt, friendly, polite and very informative for our subset tour to Poseidon. Nothing was too much trouble, the Mercedes van was very comfy and air conditioned. Kostas gave us a lot of information on the journey and even stopped to let us have an impromptu dinner overlooking the sea. Highly recommend Kostas and his team. We have been back to Greece and have found the team extremely helpful. We have used them numerous times foe all our trips and we were very happy.

We cannot express how wonderful George Samoilis was during our recent visit and private tour to the Temple of Poseidon.George was extremely helpful and knowledgeable and made our last minute tour absolutely amazing. Stunning setting

We had an amazing experience with this tour .. our driver and guide Marinos was very helpful and informative which added to the overall awesomeness!! the temple of Poseidon set on top of a hill with the Aegean Sea around for miles makes for a stunning location… the climb is not difficult .. you can sit on the rocks and soak in history and nature in a very serene atmosphere.. highly recommend this.. (if u have nausea from winding drives, it might affect your system)

Sounion Sunset Tour

This was a great tour! The drive down along the shore was comfortable and very scenic. Our guide, Charalampos was very knowledgeable and friendly. He provided great information, even my 8 year old daughter learned so much. Definitely recommend this on your trip to Athens!

Cape Sounio Tour

My review is referenced to the Cape Sounio Tour, which was very well organized and farely priced, especially if you have children or teenagers with you (oher vendors charge them fully). Our guide, Charalampos/Charis, had a huge knowledge about history and was willing to answer all the questions you may have in mind. He took care a lot and gave us valuable information about buying tickets and where to be at which time for the sunset to get out the most of this trip. So thanks again! Peter, Switzerland

Amazing time with George!

Best time ever with George. Took us to a fabulous restaurant by the sea for fresh fish! George was friendly, knowledgeable, and was present when we needed him, and disappeared when we didnt. Enjoyed trading stories of daring dos and life in Greece. Very flexible when we pulled an audible to get dinner after buying tickets so we didn’t have to sit around at Poseidon temple. George and I are such good friends now he told me he’d pay for my seaside villa near Athens. Amazing! I’m also appreciative of the fact he’s going to also buy me a yacht for sailing around the coast! You are too kind George! Book it! You’ll enjoy the tour and views of Poseidon at sunset…

A great time in a magical place with wonderful people

I bought my ticket at the Acropolis stop with Irini, and she is really sweet: she not only helped me choose the activities the company 'Sights of Athens' offers, but she also became a great friend. I strongly recommend talking to her if you come to Athens, especially if you are traveling by yourself (like me), she's very caring and helped me a lot. The tour to Poseidon's Temple is unforgettably magical! The place is fantastic and the sunset makes it even more divine! With the help of Irini, I also went to Delphi and decided to buy the hop on hop off bus ride, which was very fun! Moreover, Dimitris was the one who guided the Delphi and Poseidon tour, and he is extremely friendly and fun! I had the best time!

It was excellent as we arrive on time for the beautiful sunset on the temple. The guide gave us plenty of information too. Excellent 👍

10 Star Tours

Absolutely AMAZING tour! Called when we arrived at our hotel in Athens, we were very fortunate they had availability that afternoon, went out with the wonderful Tasos, and had an unbelievable time! We were so impressed we scheduled a private city tour the next day! He picked us up in a Mercedes and zipped us around the city, to all the major sites, at our leisure! We also scheduled our return shuttle to the airport with them! Same price as a cab, no waiting, not rushed, and a vehicle big enough for all of our luggage! We didn’t have to sit in the back seat with two bags like we did on our way to our hotel :-)! And by the way, they picked us up at 3 am for our flight, the van was waiting for us at 2:45! 10 stars from me, would hire them again without hesitation!!

Super guide, super visites!

Nous avons profité d'un moment magique avec notre super guide Akis au Cap Saunion et nous avons eu la chance de le voir à nouveau pour Delphes. Belle organisation !

Une après-midi magique en famille

Nous avons passé une fin d’après-midi magnifique ! Le chauffeur nous a emmené dans des endroits magnifique. Il s’arrêtait quand on voulait pour prendre des photos. Nous avons eu tout notre temps pour voir le temple Poséidon avant que les autres bus n’arrivent. Nous avons pu manger tranquillement en regardant le coucher du soleil. Je recommande vraiment cette activité.

Belle balade

Chauffeur très agréable. Cette activité permet de découvrir le sud d’Athènes avec ses plages avant d’arriver au cap sunion avec le temple de poseidon magnifique au coucher de soleil

Perfecto!

Contratamos este tour privado y no pudo ser mejor acierto. Y todo gracias al guía, Giorgios, una persona tremendamente amable, simpática, profesional y muy implicado en hacer del tour una gran experiencia. Para empezar, llegó muy puntual a la recogida y ya desde ese momento se mostró muy atento. Nos llevó (4 personas) en una Mercedes muy cómoda y con muy buena climatización. Durante el viaje, tanto a través de la audioguia en castellano como él explicando todo lo que podía (en inglés) hizo del trayecto una experiencia muy agradable. No pudimos llegar al Templo de Poseidón debido a que uno de los múltiples y graves incendios que asolan Grecia, afectaba a la zona y la carretera estaba cortada. Debido a que no se podía llegar y obligados a dar media vuelta, Giorgios nos llevó a un chiringuito de playa muy ameno donde disfrutamos de unas bebidas fresquitas y desde ahí, a pie de playa disfrutamos del atardecer. Ya de camino de vuelta, nos paró para visitar un famoso y espectacular lago. A pesar de no haber podido completar el tour con la visita al mencionado templo, por causas ajenas a la voluntad del guía, este nos hizo pasar una agradable tarde en su compañía y sin duda, que gracias a él, volvería a contratar cualquier tour.
