Hydra, Poros and Egina Day Cruise from Athens with Optional VIP Upgrade

Hydra and Aegina were very nice to see, but Poros did not have a lot to see so I wish we spent more time in Hydra. The boat ride is very long and crowded, so it can get uncomfortable and getting back late. It would be a nice thing to do if you had an extra day to spare but if you are in a rush then no.

It was a great way to see a few islands. Crew was terrific. We did the VIP option and thought it was worth it.

Acceptable but not worth the price

Food was good but overall it was too much caothic and difficult (almost impossible) to find a place outside on the deck. The proposed activities (not done) seemed to be expensive for the content.

Great day trip

Time at the islands to walk around. Staff on board provided excellent service and the food and drink options were not over-priced

Fun Fun

It was a great experience just not enough time at each destination.,hence the 1 less star. Great value for the money, would highly recommend upgrading to VIP, it was well worth it from the pick up, service in the lounge and drop off.

I had such a good time! I was very fortunate to be with a wonderful group of individuals. We've bonded over time, taking photos together and sharing our contacts as well. The islands are beautiful and the boat ride is very peaceful. The water was very calm, so there's not much need to worry about getting seasick for my trip in May. It was easy to find the pickup location. The driver was very friendly and polite. He made sure we got to and from our ship without confusion. DEFINITELY PAY FOR THE VIP option. It is worth every penny. The ship is very crowded and can get pretty warm. The VIP lounge is a little heaven to rest between islands with wonderfully caring staff.

Island tour

Great way to get a quick feel for the three islands. Opted for the VIP experience which was very relaxing with plenty of room. Seems like non-VIP Participants would need to realize that the boat had about 400+ people which could make it challenging to get a great seat with a good view.

Save your money and skip this excursion

Not worth the money. It is a 12 hour day with a majority of the time on the boat. Makes for a long day. The times they give you in each port is just too short. I booked it with the expectation that we would see Greek dancers. We heard them but never saw them. Not informative while on the boat at all. The music they were playing was horrific as well. Do not recommend..

Enjoyable

Very relaxing and beautiful views. Only had 30 minutes in Poros - no real opportunity to see and enjoy it. Otherwise very efficient.

Delightful Cruise to Three Stunning Greek Isles

This cruise to three stunning Greek islands was ideal--the crew were accommodating and friendly, the stops were just long enough to get a sense of each island (and sometimes, just to rest and have a drink while admiring the beauty of the coast), and the food and drink onboard was quite good, even not opting for the VIP upgrade. The pick-up and drop-off from a nearby hotel was well worth the cost--the port is not particularly close to downtown Athens! The ship was much nicer than I expected and made the day that much more comfortable and enjoyable.

Great Greek island tour.

Tour guides were excellent and provided lunch was good. Seeing 3 beautiful islands in 1 excursion was great.

Enjoyed visiting the different islands

Enjoyed seeing the different islands, and the gelato in Poros the food on the boat was good. We signed up for the tour in Aegina to The Temple and the monastery. We were suppose to be on the English/Spanish bus, they were overbooked and we ended up on the Russian/English bus they put us on there and added English. They some other people got on who spoke Spanish so our tour guide God Bless her spoke all 3 languages which took away from the tour. So we missed a lot. Plus not enough time on the islands.

Amazing Greek island tour.

Beautiful tour of three islands. We had a very good and tasty lunch. There were options for tours or just free time to explore at your own pace . Would recommend.

Nice way to see some islands

The trip was enjoyable and well organised. The there was a lot of hard sell on the optional events and tours. Plenty of time to explore but a written summary of options on each island would have been helpful (not the additional activities they wanted you to pay for).

Fantastic trip

Amazing trip and amazing service. The VIP lounge was fantastic and the staff were super amazing especially Costantinos, Maria and Timmis. The tour Guide in Hydra was super good and funny. Highly recommend!!

Choppy Ride to Poros

I want to give this trip a 5 star review as the weather conditions are not in the control of the crew. Almost everyone on the catamaran cruise in our VIP section got sea sick. We missed the island of Hydra due to weather conditions, however it was still a lovely day when we got to Poros and Aegina. Stay in Aegina was very short, we were on a bus tour of the island to the temple and monastery, however we only got 15 mins of free time on the island and that was too little for us.

A great day exploring three islands

We signed up for the VIP experience and we were treated like VIPs. We were able to visit three islands in one day and had good food on the ship.

Wonderful VIP experience

Absolutely wonderful! We opted for the VIP experience and so appreciated the hospitality of our hostess who saw to our every need. Beautiful scenery from the boat and islands. The live entertainment with authentic Greek music & dance was an unexpected bonus!

I highly recommend this...

I highly recommend this tour. My husband and I loved every minute of it. We upgraded to the VIP pkg. Our guide/waiter is so good at what he does. Always making sure we had drinks, food and were taken off the boat first. We enjoyed the entertainment in the front row, served lunch. It was a trip of a life time.

Short and poor time on the cruise.

The islands were beautiful, but the journey to them was so long I couldn’t spend much time on the islands. 30mins, 45mins, and 1hour. The cruise ship was quite dirty with stained, furniture inside, which has interesting smells. This was my first time on a cruise, maybe this is what all cruises are like? Racial comments were made by senior members of the staff… The islands were beautiful and I’d love to go back but I am deffos avoiding going via this service, especially how little time we had.

A wonderful day on the sea

I really enjoyed the VIP experience and highly recommend it. The service onboard was phenomenal and the perk of hotel pickup and drop off was well worth it. All three islands were beatiful. It was a prefect day trip.

Relaxing way to see the islands

The trip was very easy. You're on a boat most of the time but it let you relax after visiting the islands. Since we went on Christmas day, the islands were very empty but it let us explore without other tourists and made for great photos. Hydra was a lovely stop to see cats and donkeys. Poros was a very short stop at 45 minutes and all you see is the clock tower. Aegina was a longer stop and you can see an archeological site, churches, grab food and desserts, and buy pistachios. Since we went on Christmas day, many restaurants and stores were closed but it didn't really matter since we don't really go to touristy shops anyways.

Our whole experience on this tour was fantastic from the ease of booking, the price, pick up from our hotel and the VIP package. We had a lovely day touring islands; staff very friendly and organised. The VIP package is definitely worth the additional cost.

Excellent customer experience

I have to say Kudos and many Thanks to George our driver and to Costas our personal hostess while on the ship, Thanks to yall we had a great time, I can tell they really care for their clients. The trip is long but we'll worthwhile.

Too Long of a day, but great way to see more islands

Only having 45 mins at the second stop was unfortunate. I would have rather had more time at Hydra. Overall it was an okay time.

Great experience

Very nice and well organized tour of three beautiful Greek Islands. We got the VIP pass which was expensive, but worth it. You sit in a separate lounge area with excellent service and first on and off the boat. Well organized pick up and drop off at our hotel.

The VIP experience and staff was extremely fun and treated us very special! The islands were beautiful and amazing!

not a good use of time/$$

We had 3 middle eastern women & one man harassing us & a ship crew member watched them, but did nothing to stop it. No enough time at each island to fully enjoy our trip.

Best tour I have ever had, better than I could hope for.

The tour length and islands visited were exactly as the described; which was great, no surprises. The islands were lovely and the water was so beautiful. But best of all, the VIP experience was soooo worth the upgrade. We loved the separate air conditioned space but even better our host (Costas) and hostess (Dora) worked so very hard to make us feel pampered as they tirelessly served us and always with a smile. I will always remember their wonderful hospitality and generous spirits! What a wonderful day.

It was a long day with little time at each island. I'd recommend going to one or 2 islands for the days. And skip Poros. Lunch was terrible on the cruise ship.

Enjoyable

We booked the VIP cruise Hydra, Poros and Aegina. The experience was great. Our lunch was delicious, drinks and coffee served. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Only one disappointing factor, in Aegina we got a light buffet which was terrible! They served some salad with unpeeled fried shrimp 🦐. It was very oily, was just a mess! Apart from that we had a great time. I would advise the VIP upgrade, you pay more but it's fun and worth it.

Great excursion - Go VIP

The islands were very quaint and fun to visit. You see a lot in one day on this excursion. The VIP option made the trip much more comfortable.

A change to a hectic sightseeing tour !

Experiencing some of the outer islands was nice. Although very commercialized the back streets are very quaint with cobble stones and donkeys. All have beautiful scenic harbors. The boat ride it’s self was pleasant. The staff was also pleasant and efficient. A nice change to a busy Athens day !

Had a wonderful time. Everyone onboard was very friendly and professional. We were very happy with the service and the ladies in the VIP lounge were fantastic.

The only island wr really enjoyed visiting was the Hydra. It is more about the cruise than the islands

Excellent VIP Cruise but Be Careful to Confirm Return Transport Info

Cruise itself was excellent. Staff was extremely friendly and more than eager to make our experience as enjoyable as possible. Hydra and Aegina in particular were well worth the visit, though our time on the islands was limited. Poros was by far the least interesting of all the islands, but still a beautiful place to experience. Food and drink options were better than expected. Definitely would strongly recommend the VIP and hotel transport upgrade, HOWEVER, please be leery of any communication with Chat Tours. The driver gave us the wrong pickup instructions for our return transportation, and this wasn’t communicated to us by the cruise ship team. Then he pretended to not recognize us upon return and was unhelpful and rude. Just unacceptable behavior. Otherwise we would have given a 5-star rating.

Good way to experience some islands from Athens

On time pick up from hotel in the morning. Food and service in VIP area was good and loved that we were able to be the first off the boat at each stop to have the most time at each location as well as first to be able to get off and catch our ride home. Tours on Aegina are a little pricey for what they are but it was fun to wander the temple and try the pistachio ice cream on the cultural tour option. Would have liked more time to wander around Hydra

Amazing tour!

The VIP option for the tour was amazing! We had a private air conditioned area with endless drinks. The service was amazing! I had a love seat with pillows all to myself in a space that was quiet. I had the option to join the loud party when I wanted to. The VIP first off the boat was definitely worth it. I really enjoyed seeing the 3 islands . Most of the time is spent on the boat so having the private lunch with pick up, a tour, and everything included was perfect. Bring a jacket as there are winds in the sea. They do not sell jackets in the on board store.

Disgraceful, the bus was late and the rep who collected us from pick up point disappeared once we got to the port, there was no co ordination at all and we were left like 3rd rate passengers

An exceptional day with unforgettable experiences

Themis and George made the trip exceptional with all the historical information and answering all our questions. The van was clean and comfortable and made sure we were well watered. They were happy to wait for us should we take a bit longer.
