Fantastic Tour and Guide!

We had a fantastic tour of Cape Sounion and the Temple of Poseidon. Our guide/driver, Apostolis (Tolis), was fantastic and really made it a memorable trip for our family. We were worried about the drive given we have young children but it was a comfortable trip and we were given as much time as we needed at the sites. Would definitely recommend!

Wonderful

We had a great trip to Cape Sounion and Temple of Poseidon. We had just arrived in Athens and arranged for Tolis to pick us up and take us directly their. It was a great trip and wonderful way to begin our Greek holiday. Tolis recommended a wonderful seaside restaurant for lunch run by a lovely family. There we were, having lunch on the sea with the view of the Temple of Poseidon behind us. Truly a great day! Thank you, Tolis!!

Great driver, great view, great experience

Tour operator was flexible and accommodating when I wanted to add some friends to the car and add a second pick up spot. Driver was knowledgeable and friendly. Temple of Poseidon is a must see and I am very glad we did it comfortably in a private car on our own schedule. Great tour, I would recommend to anyone

Fun day trip to Temple of Poseidon

Our guide Demetrius was very friendly and knowledgeable. We visited the Temple of Poseidon first we got there before it was open and they opened early for us. It was a beautiful spot and it was amazing to be there by ourselves. We added on a stop to an olive grove for a tasting and tour of the farm. It was a really nice day, I would highly recommend.

Fabulous tour to Cape Sounion

Our group of 6 spent a delightful day with Valerius, enjoying the drive along the coast and visiting the fantastic ruins of the Temple of Poseidon. We went in the morning, so that we had the temple nearly to ourselves without all the tour buses. Valerius was very informative and delightful company, and on our way back suggested a great restaurant in the Pireus area by the water that turned out to be our gest meal in Greece. I highly recommend this tour.

Without a doubt, one of the best...

<p>Without a doubt, one of the best tours we have taken and we take a lot!. A bit more cost for the private tour, but it felt like a friend was showing us the sights. Didn't have to worry about the always whining/late back to the bus fellow travelers- just us and our guide David. And David was amazing: friendly, smart, let us set the pace, answered our numerous questions about the sights and the country. Our pictures and memories of the day trip to Sounion are wonderful.</p>

<p>Excellent half day tour. Our guide was very knowledgeable and the scenery is excellent. It's well worth doing this tour. Remember that you will be on an exposed peninsula so dress very warmly in winter!</p>

<p>Our driver's duty was simply to drive us there and back, this was basically a private taxi however I think the rate was a little better than a taxi simply because it was booked and paid for in advance. Our driver was very pleasant and we had a good conversation on the ride over and back. The temple itself, even if you get there another way, is definitely worth the trip. Very much intact with beautiful views from the temple over the water and surrounding area, this was maybe the most beautiful of all the temples and ruins we saw because of how well preserved the structure was with the backgrounds. It was also nice that we were there in April, when it is their Spring so the grass was green and new and there were lots of wildflowers.</p>

This is worth seeing - Poseidon is...

<p>This is worth seeing - Poseidon is my favorite so I couldn't miss this - Its a beautiful ruin and well kept - Scenery is very pretty - We did go to the cafe at the bottom of the bay and the food was delicous and well priced - Owners were nice and welcoming. Our guide was nice but did not see to have much to say about the ruins - Just thought we would hear more about the history there.</p>

Only if you have a lot of free time and want to see another Greek temple

An interesting visit to another ancient Greek temple. It is a different option, but it takes a lot of time that could be used to explore the city of Athens on your own, if your trip is for a short time. Only if you are very interested in Greek history and mythology, since there are many other beautiful beaches in this beautiful country from which you can contemplate beautiful and free sunsets. It also does not include the ticket to access the temple. The explanation is NOT in Spanish.
