Athens Scuba Diving Experience for Certified Divers with pick up

We did a shore dive south of Athens. Was a super hot day so perfect for diving!

Super helpful, knowledgable and friendly staff! This was our first real dive and we felt super comfortable. Equipment was in great condition.

Absolutely wonderful!

Oh my gosh, what lovely experience! My husband and I are decently experienced divers but we haven't gone diving in a few years. Denae was so patient and personable,making sure we remembered everything and assisting with gear. George at the shop was so friendly, you can tell they both love what they do. We had an awesome dive...Denae pointed out all kinds of critters we never would have seen, and we saw an octopus! Afterwards they suggested an awesome restaurant with an incredible view of the city and even dropped us off. Can't say enough good things about this operation!

Blue Hole and Beyond

Great day from start to finish. From getting picked up then fitted for our gear we were off to the Blue Hole for an awesome dive. After the dive we took a nice drive along the sunny coastline to see the Temple of Poseidon. Very cool. It was also nice to get video and pictures to remember our special day. Thanks to George and everyone else at Extreme Divers for an unforgettable time.

Spectacular experience

Nick was our guide we did a refresher course at a lake near the blue hole and then the dive at the blue hole. Nick was amazing! Super fun and informative making the experience spectacular such a great experience. Highly recommend!

Superb fun-dive

A great experience. This was a first dive after completing PADI Open Water Course 10 months earlier. Evan, the dive master, gave a very detailed brief of the dive beforehand and made sure I felt safe and comfortable. Evan has very professional and knowledgeable approach which I appreciated very much as I have been extreme sports instructor in my previous life and can spot a qualified pro when I see one. The scuba equipment was in very good shape and good quality. Evan took pictures and videos through-out the dive and sent them to me few days after the dive. Evan also gave some tips how to spend some time in Athens, and we had a very interesting conversation of current affairs in our respective countries as well. Evan also offered to drop me off to the metro station so I could make my way back to Athens center. Simply a great experience!

Best Scuba in Athens

I cannot say enough good things about George and Evan. From the ease of scheduling the dive with George to the fresh pastries Evan bought for us when he picked us up a tour hotel in the morning. Everything was perfect! George and Evan are both very knowledgeable, professional and kind. It was my first dive in 5 years. I was with my two sons, and it was their first dive since completing their Padi Certifications. The dive was both adventurous and fun. It was our first time in Athens and if/when we go back, we will be definitely using Extreme Divers again.

Blue Hole dive

Extreme divers was very good and safe. The dive site itself was a little rocky and it’s a good walk up and down uneven rocky terrain with all the dive gear as it’s a shore dive to the Blue Hole. Our guide was very attentive to make sure we were safe. If you have hypertension bring a Drs note to assure you are well to dive. We also stopped at Poseidons temple which was an added cost but a wild drive down the coast, BEAUTIFUL day all around! Nice hotel pickup and drop off as well. Thx!!

Very responsive and accommodating staff/owners

I highly recommend Extreme Divers to any scuba divers heading to Athens. The name turned me off initially as I am not extreme in any way and am a beginner diver but they were so quickly responsive to my emails that I decided to book the dives. Our instructor was very knowledgeable and very in tune with the experience level of each diver on our boat and was able to somewhat personalize the dive for each experience level which was awesome. George (one of the owners) is an absolute gentleman and very knowledgeable of Greek history which made the experience so much better for us history nerds. They make the logistics of diving so easy from pickup to equipment handling to drop off at the end of the day. No stress at all. I will definitely be back!

Friendly and helpful dive centre

We don't get to dive anywhere near as often as we'd like. So, my wife and I (PADI Open Water qualified) jumped at the chance of a couple of dives in Athens. Everything was made incredibly easy. we were collected and dropped off right at the door of our hotel. The staff at the dive centre we all super friendly and knowledgeable and we had 2 really enjoyable dives. Highly recommend these guys to anyone that wants to dive when you;re in Athens.

Lovely people and nice spots

Wonderful day! Amalia is a wonderful instructor and travel mate! George, who runs the business, is very kind, too. He offered me a solo dive with Amalia at Vougliamani and a drive to Poseidon Temple at Cap Sounion for €120.

Great Diving Experience

George and Evan are great. Everything was communicated very well in advanced via Email. Location of the Dive Center was easy reachable by Taxi. They also offer pick up services. Diving equipment was in a very good condition, everything worked perfectly. They also take pictures and videos during the dive. Thanks a lot ! Would definitely recommend to anyone who is in Athens.

Athens Blue hole dive.

This was a great dive. With all the obstacles during these times. They made the effort to get me a dive in with short notice. My only recommendation is to schedule it in advance if possible.

Awesome dives! Equipment in great condition! Luxurious boat! Could be also combined with Poseidon’s temple at Sounio and acquire cultural interest. I definitely recommend this dive shop.

Half day boat dive with 2 dives

These guys were great. They spoke very good English and were really informative, helpful and reassuring. I felt totally safe at all times. The equipment was top notch. The boat trips out and back were really good fun - smooth and quick. If you fancy a dive in Athens I wholeheartedly recommend these guys.

Diving with Extreme Divers

We had a great time diving with Evan. It has been a while since we last dove and he was very patient while we got reacquainted with diving. The blue hole was amazing and visibility was great! We would definitely use Extreme Divers again if we are in Athens.

Incredible diving at the Blue Hole in Athens

I had a couple days to kill in Athens so I emailed Extreme Divers very last minute to see if they could get me in on a dive. Sure, enough they emailed me right away to let me know I could head out to experience the famous “Blue Hole”, which is a well-like structure that descends 30 Meters down to the sea floor (though we only went down 20). The hole was an incredible sight and so fun to explore, would be very easy for beginner dives as it is spacious and surprisingly well lit inside. The dive also included a lovely swim along the reef where we saw an octopus, fish, worms, and many sea urchins. I get cold very easily but the water temperature wasn’t bad at all, I felt comfortable in just the provided shorty wetsuit. It was a spectacular dive! Evan picked me up at my hotel in the morning (for an extra fee) in a vehicle clearly marked with Extreme Divers on the side, and he was so professional and informative all day. He even drove us around to see some of the cool sights near where we were diving! The equipment was all in excellent condition and I felt very comfortable diving with these outfitters, definitely recommend to newbies and veteran divers alike!

Aegean Adventure

Spent an amazing half-day diving with Evan and my new dive buddy, Polly. Dived a blue hole and lovely wall (octopus, sea urchins, many fishes)...visibility was most excellent! Learned much about Greece along the way, and as is true of the best Dive Masters, Evan taught me practices to make diving safer, and more enjoyable!!! Thanks again for an extraordinary adventure, Evan & Polly!!!

Best Scuba Diving I experienced

Evan and George are both amazing persons. I had the pleasure to dive with Evan as my instructor. I booked the dive 2 days before and they prepared every single thing so both me and my sister will feel extra comfortable. Even though my sister didn't manage to dive, Evan made sure she will be safe and secured in the shore. I highly recommend to use their services, they are highly professional, but moreover they have a huge hearth! Thank you for your service!

Great dive at "fleves", everything was perfect, the guys are very professional, explanatory and also fun! The equipment was brand new and the dive site was absolutely amazing. Will come back as soon as possible.

Scuba dive in the Saronic Gulf, near Athens

I arranged for a dive while in Canada, at the end of a sea cruise. From the very beginning, the dive shop was very professional. I was concerned with the conditions and their equipment. The dive Master was extremely helpful and responded quickly. The dive was not off a dive boat, but from the shore, something a little different for me, but Evan, the dive master was quite experienced, and we put the BCD/tank on in the water. I had a real challenge equalizing, and was going to cancel the dive, but Evan helped me to slowly descend, and it all worked out. For me the dive was great, its was on my bucket list to dive in the Mediterranean, the last sea/ocean on my list. Evan (the dive master) was an extremely skilled, helpful and fun guy. While quite professional he was full of information about the local conditions and had been diving for many years. He conducts many more complex dives, but it was the end of season and I was lucky to be able to find him.
