One of the best electric bike tours that I have been on

This was an excellent tour. We saw the main points of interest with very little effort. Ser (Sergious) the guide gave great information on the sites and was very pleasant. The electric bikes were definitely the easiest way to see Athens. 5 out of 5, one of the best bike tours I have been on.

The perfect introduction to Athens

We can’t recommend this trip enough! George is a trained archaeologist who will give you a fascinating tour by electric bike of this fabulous city, his home town. One of the surprising highlights of our 3 hour tour was witnessing the extraordinarily balletic and symbolic movements of the changing of the guard in front of the presidential palace. Unmissable! Touring the city by bike will give you a sense of the geography and topography of the city - there were so many raised viewpoints (mercifully easy to reach by e-bike) from which George pointed out other must see sites, such as the Stavros Niarchos Foundation cultural centre that we visited later . Back at base he took the time to share restaurant recommendations which were fantastic. Thank you George!

The best time I had in Athens was with them! They were genuinely nice people, always considerate of everyone in the group, and incredibly fun to be around. Their warmth and attention to detail made the experience truly memorable.

Hits all the highlights!

We were only in Athens for a day, so we wanted something that would allow us to see a lot of the sites. There were only four of us on this tour, and the guide stopped at each stop and provided some background on what we were looking at. Although you don't get to go into each of the locations, I thought it was a perfect highlight tour. A good intro if you have more time in the city and a good overview if you don't. The electric bikes made it really easy and fun!

Great experience! Bike tours are a wonderful way to see a new city. Our guide was very personable and knowledgeable. Bikes were in great condition and staff were very professional.

Best value and experience for a low cost!

George was very informative, respectful of Greece’s history, concerned about our safety and made sure to ‘catch some shade’ on a hot Sunday morning. We were even treated to the Sunday parade in an area with no crowds! We got all the videos and photos we wanted. Best way to cover a lot of territory with a guide. The electric bikes were awesome on all the hills.

Great way to see athens

Perfect start to an Athens Vacation!

This was the best tour and the perfect way to start an Athens vacation! Our guide, George, was amazing and so knowledgeable. The bikes were fun and easy to use and we saw so much and learned a lot of history from George. Would highly recommend this tour. It’s a great way to see a lot in a short amount of time!

Fantastic ebiike tour in Athens

Fantastic bike tour company!! Stergious was out guide and was very knowledgeable about the sites seen. We really enjoyed the changing of the guard and overall felt like we got a good overview of a lot of that part of the city. The pick up point was centrally located and right off the metro which was great. The ebikes were comfortable and powerful enough to get up the large hills….(we had our kids with us and this was the only bike tour company that accepted kids under 12 that I could find- they gave us bikes with seats on the back for the kids- I think there must be a regulation that kids under 12 can’t have their own bikes. Overall great experience- highly recommended!!!

Excellent way to see Athens.

This was one of the best tours we’ve taken. Stergios was an excellent guide, very knowledgeable and patient with us. It was a great way to see the city. The bikes were easy to operate and we were able to cover more ground than if it were a walking tour.

Definitely Do This!

Fantastic! Our guide Ste was a delight and made sure we all had a safe, informative tour of the major sights with short stops at each one. The e bikes worked well, but if you are not comfortable riding a bike, do not try this tour. You must be able to weave between pedestrian tourists. Ste makes sure to keep the group together and having a breezy bike ride is so much more fun that walking everywhere in a crowd or in the heat. Loved it!!!

The best ever start to our Athens trip

This was a fantastic tour . As another couple did not show we had effectively a private tour . Jiota was our lovely guide on our evening tour. Going in the evening was great because the temperature had dropped and the sun was just going down . Jiota is so knowledgeable about the city and her English is excellent. After a safety check and introduction to the bikes She took us to see many of the main sites and some we would never have known about . We also cycled through some of the districts such as Plaka , psirri and Thiseio , Monastiraki . This gave us lots of ideas for the rest of our holiday . We felt very safe and Jiota ended the evening by giving us a map and marking the route if we want to revisit anywhere. Also must mention Joel who was assisting Jiota tonight allowing us to leave the bikes and wander off. Great excursion with a great guide . Thank you

Great tour to discover Athens

Great tour. Our very kind and experienced guide (Stergios) helped us discovering the many beauties of Athens. A very pleasant experience, with very good electric bikes.

Good way to get oriented

Overall was good. Towards the end we stopped at the old Olympic stadium but felt like too long of a break. Otherwise was a good way to get oriented with the city. Certain parts it was super busy and hard to ride the bike due to people in street. Definitely not as open for bikes as other parts of Europe, but that’s no fault of the guide. If you have time to fill, it’s fun way to get around.

Excellent experience 7 mile biking in Athens

Excellent tour led by Famous George. Many sights with stops explaining the importance of the sights to Greece and the Athenians. Great time to do this as it was not very hot. Bring your sunscreen and a hat. Thank you We love bikes and thanks George for a great experience.

Brilliant introduction to Athens city

Brilliant way to see a new city…. On an electric bike… our guide was super knowledgeable… took a 5pm tour so missed the heat of the day… amazing way to start our mini break to check out where we want to come back to!

The ebikes were great, easy to operate. The tour route was well thought out, with plenty of stops for pictures at various historical sites and bathroom breaks. Our tour guide was George who was very entertaining, informative and organized the tour to accommodate everyone in our small group which we appreciated. He also explained historical aspects of the neighborhoods we rode through and gave recommendations for eating establishments and libations outside of trendy tourist spots. We all agreed it was a great way to soend the morning and familiarize ourselves with Athens.

Most fun we had visiting Athens!

Great way to explore a taste of Athens and learn a few of the better (and lesser) known sites. George, our tour guide, was so welcoming, knowledgeable and entertaining! Bikes were great and fun to ride. Safe even for our 11 year old son. Tip - do this tour first, so you learn about the places you want to spend more time on your trip.

Fun and relaxing

Fun way to explore Athens and a lot less tiring than walking tours. I recommend riding in the afternoon as it's not as hot.

Had a really exceptional ride around town. George did a great job of both information an safety for us on the ride. Our 2.5 to 3 hr ride was easy with their bikes...lots of power an easy to ride. We had just got in town an had a very good handle on the main sites in Athens. George gave us some ideas of restarants to visit, an areas of Athens to check out an stay away from.... Enjoy

MUST DO!

It was the absolute best way to start our vacation! We went our first afternoon after our plane trip from west coast of US. No jet lag here. Sergios is a fantastic, knowledgeable and interesting tour guide. The sites were amazing. And the bike was easy to use for a novice to an E-Bike. Not to be missed.

Fun and fascinating facts with We Bike Athens

🚲 Shout Out to We Bike Athens 🚲 We loved our guide, George, who was relaxed, with his mix of inimitably Greek humor and playful/joyous cynicism. We laughed as we explored the less-known Athenian sites like the house of the founder of the modern Olympic Games, Zappas, to the more well-known 2500-year old first Olympic Stadium, Panathenaic. And what about the changing of the guards at the presidential palace—I knew nothing about it and was so impressed by the choreography, movement and discipline of the soldiers — not to mention their costumes. George was full of fascinating facts about Athens.

very eventful tour with a very emphatic tour guide! I miss it very much! We started the tour in the morning, which was good because it was very warm at midday, even though it was only the beginning of April

Athens electric bicycle tour

Fabulous electric bike tour with George the Great. Just the two of us on the tour as out of season but did not disappoint. A great and fun way to see all the essential sites of Athens. The biking was easy due to the electric bikes. George was knowledgable about the area, taking us to places we wouldn’t have thought about going. Found some great photo opportunities and saw the changing of the guards. Would highly recommend.

Our guide George was very friendly and offered so much local history. It was so great to get off of our feet for a couple of hours and let the bikes move us around! This experience makes us want to take EBike tours in other cities and countries.

Brilliant and quick way to see the most famous sights in Athens

Brilliant way to see/experience the most famous sights in Athens. 8 stops on the 8 km route around town. Vey humoristic and knowledgeable guide, very good at English as well. The e-bikes worked well and made the tour effortless even with steep inclines. If we'd had more time in town, we would have back-tracked the route on foot afterwards. A huge recommendation to anyone wanting to see the sights on a tight schedule - remember sunscreen (even in October).

Such a fun and perfect way to see the city of Athens. George our guide was super knowledgeable and funny and managed to have us see the changing of the guard at the Presidential Palace.

Great way to see a lot of Athens without walking all over the place a lot more ground gets covered. Fun and enjoyable!

Great Ride.

We really liked the bike ride. Little scary at time for riding around and through people and cars. Very crowded in the afternoon. Still a fun way to see some Athens sights. Our tour guide was great.

Great activity

This was an amazing excursion for us! George was fantastic. We were on a cruise and took a taxi to his shop. I would definitely recommend. We are 47 and 51 y/o and joy seeing the sites and hearing about them but not necessarily going on the tours, so it was perfect for us.

Best way to see Athens

Guide was awesome and views and sites were remarkable. Secret treasure stopping points that were off the beaten path and not crowded with tourists.

Nice tour around Acropolis and main sights - highly recommended. Electric bikes are of good quality.
