Amazing experience with very qualified team.

Amazing experience with a very experienced crew. Watching the sunrise while floating in the air is an experience everyone must do. We had a very anxious passenger and Duncan our pilot was so aware of her needs and fears and helped her get through the fear and she had the most wonderful time. Marco was a character with great stories. The light refreshments were simple but perfect. Packing up the balloon was also a great experience. We highly recommend this experience as a must do while in Alice.

The best thing you can do in Alice Springs

This was the best thing we did in Alice Springs! We were picked up by Marco from our hotel and taken to meet our pilot, Duncan who had us airborne ready for the sunrise. It was also the full moon so we had the best of both worlds as one came up and the other went down! A great experience - so peaceful while the balloon is floating through the air, and then exciting when the noise of the flames comes in. Not at all scary, even for those who don't loev heights. An easy landing followed by champagne topped off the morning. Highly reccomended!

What an Adventure!

Such an amazing adventure! The Ballooning in Alice Springs staff were friendly and fun while also very professional about their work! We felt safe even though they made this experience exciting and fun! Answered all our questions about ballooning and the area! We saw a few kangaroos and a most beautiful sun rise! Thank you for a wonderful memory!

Perfect way to end a trip

The trip was fabulous, even though we nearly ran out of petrol on the way to the balloon site. The staff were fabulous, very caring, understanding and explained everything in a fun way that had people listening. I didn't go up in the balloon, stayed with the driver and we chased the balloon which was very good however I do not feel it is worth the price to chase and not go up. I would happily recommend this to my clients and friends.

Worth every cent...highly recommend. Great pilot and crew. The view is amazing and learnt from the pilot about the surrounding area.

A must-do experience when you visit Alice Springs

Had pickup and drop off directly from our accomodation by a friendly member of the crew. A 5:45am start on a cool morning, but soon warmed up in the balloon basket when the flame burst into life. Fantastic to see the size of the balloon, and learn its cost, needed to lift 20 people. Once in the basket, we had a safety briefing and practiced the landing position. In the air, the flight was so gentle. So quiet, and no breeze, when the flame was not roaring. There was a glorious sunrise just after take off. Our pilot kept us aware of our surroundings, and some of the history, with Alice Springs in the distance. Back on the ground, after a gentle landing, we were encouraged to help deflate the balloon and pack it up. A fun thing to do, and made the whole process faster for the crew. We were enlightened as to the history of the tradition of having champagne after the flight, which we duly drank, with snacks for breakfast. Having seen the ballon and basket packed onto the trailer, we were returned to our accommodation in Alice Springs. All in all a great experience, with a great crew. The only other thing I would like to have seen, would be a second balloon on the trip, that we could see and photograph for some air to air pictures.

Sky floating

The brisk pre-dawn morning watching the sun rise as you float through the sky. A quiet view of the morning sun as it rises to greet you. A truly magical experience, shared with new friends. Back on the ground, the fun of rolling the envelope was a team sport event.

Fantastic experience

Fantastic experience. Real highlight of our trip. Was a bit nervous at first but there was nothing to worry about. Seeing the sunrise and also kangaroos below us was wonderful. My only criticism was that there were 24 people in the hot balloon which I assume is the maximum and it felt a bit tight on space. That aside it was a really amazing thing to do and I would highly recommend.

A great morning

This tour was amazing. The pilot was so informative and the views of the sunrise and the outback were fabulous. The refreshments to finish off the morning were an added bonus. Loved it!

This is why you get up early!

This has been on my bucket list since I've had a bucket list. The trip did not disappoint. What a beautiful morning, a great ride, even longer than i had hoped for. And enjoyed a beautiful sunrise. Would recommend making sure to do this when you are in Alice Springs. The floating above everything did not freak out this doesn't love heights girl...

Exhilarating/amazing/great memories

This event is exhilarating and is so surreal when you are 4,000 ft in the air. It has always been on my bucket list to do and I am so glad I could conquer my fear of heights to take this journey. The pilot and crew Marco/Katelyn and Duncan were absolutely amazing and their professionalism could not be faulted . I would do this event again. Balloon ride in Alice Springs - WOW!

The entire experience was very unique. Set-up, balloon ride, put away of balloon, breakfast. Great staff.

spectacular view

Seeing the sunrise from above was truly spectacular. The pilot gave some information about the area and the whole flight was very smooth. Landing included. After that we received our certificate and got to drink some champagne accompanied by some snacks. Would totally reccommend it!

Hot air balloon experience of a lifetime.

Do this!

This was fun. We had to get there early, before dawn, but it was worth it. Our group was small, so we all fit into one balloon. Take-off was so easy and gentle we hardly knew we were in the air. Unfortunately, winds aloft prevented the balloon from going higher than 500 or 600 feet. Nevertheless, the view was fantastic. Such a serene and gentle way to see the countryside. The landing was easier than anticipated but we still bounced a bit. The pilot then turned the basket on its side so we could slip out back to solid ground. Not to worry, it was well controlled. Packing up was un as we got to roll ourselves along the balloon to help with deflation. Champagne breakfast followed.

What an amazing experience, we where picked up by Kaitlin who was on time, friendly and efficent. We where given a safety briefing and where to stand. Explanation was given on how to enter the basket. Watching the balloon inflate was fabulous. On getting into the basket our flight was conducted by Deacon who was friendly and knowledgeable. We had a great flight and easy landing and felt 100% safe. After landing we helped pack away the balloon and then had drinks and food. Would highly recommend this trip. Farewell to Alice

We’ve lived in Mparntwe for 2 years and did this as a last activity the weekend before leaving town- it was absolutely beautiful and would highly recommend the experience. Claudia and Duncan were also wonderful hosts? Very friendly and knowledgeable about the region, it’s history, and of course ballooning.

A very memorable first time in a balloon. Hotel pick up in Alice was on time, Good briefing, friendly crew and excellent views as the sun rose over the 'red centre'. And fizz and nibbles at the end!

Amazing experience

Wonderful sunrise balloon tour in the outback, stunning views and kangaroo sightings included. The team was very welcoming and made the tour a fantastic experience; we learned a lot about how the balloon is operated too. We had challenging wind conditions but the team managed quickly. We also enjoyed the breakfast after the ride. Highly recommend and hope to be back one day.

Greatest morning trip

The weather was perfect the pilot was super nice and it was a great experience all around. The champagne hit hard on the empty stomach so make sure you eat breakfast xd

Definitely add this to your bucket list

Early morning trip, but well worth getting up at 3:45am. Such a peaceful relaxing flight. Loved every minute. The heat from the flames is intense so no need for a jacket when you're up in the sky. Once landed everyone works together to fold the balloon and get it back into its box. End the morning with some champagne and muffins

Awesome!

What an incredible experience; rising gently into the air as the sun peeked over the horizon. The quietness and serenity whilst floating over such a magnificent landscape was awesome and we even saw some kangaroos bounding along below us. It was magical.

Bucket List Trip

Absolutely amazing experience from booking, transport, flying in the balloon. WOW! Staff went above and beyond to make our flight the experience of a lifetime ✨️

Must do experience

The lift up from the ground and landing was done superbly by our pilot Duncan. The commentary of the history of the land is very informative. The light refreshments was good at the end of the flight and we got to help fold and pack the balloon up. 30mins was definitely enough. We got to see some kangaroos in the wild.

Watching the team unpack the balloon and set it up as the dawn breaks. The beautiful flight over the outback, so peaceful with amazing views. Soft landing out in the outback. The traditional "Balloon Champagne" after the flight. Helping out in packing the balloon away.

Ripped off

DON’T pay for the one hour like we did! People on the same balloon paid for the 30 minute flight and we all received the same amount of time! This was not an upgrade as we spoke to them directly. When we called asking why and how is so we paid $160 more than everyone else they just dismissed it and no refund. I would strongly advise to use the other company in Alice Springs! We have heard great reports about them since. Very disheartening at $415 each 😡 Think twice! As we feel ripped off

Fantastic hot air balloon flight at Alice Springs

This hot balloon experience that my wife and I undertook was brilliant to say the least. We were picked up by a small coach before sunrise and taken to a site just outside Alice Springs. It was evident that the staff were all focused on safety. The balloon took off smoothly and we had a great view of the sunrise. The pilot was informative and professional. We could not believe how smooth the flight together with the landing was. Most people assisted the crew to pack up the balloon. This was followed with a light breakfast including champagne. We were then returned to our accommodation It goes without saying that this company is first rate and we highly recommend it.

Fantastic Experience

My wife and I booked this for wedding anniversary. Everything from booking to drop off after was great. Very freindly people, very well looked after. The balloon ride itself was fantastic well worth evey dollar. Great experience.

Such an amazing experience, it exceeded all of my expectations and the crew were great! I was unsure about it but am so so glad I went. A few other solo travellers
