Beautifully crafted Marble Tomb

Built between 1622 to 1628 AD by Noorjehan in memory of his father Mirza Giyas Baig, this marble mausoleum is often christened as Baby Taj, due to its smaller size and intricate marble craft. We revisited the structure on a March afternoon. The entry costs Ra. 25 for Indians and Rs. 300 for foreigners. You have to remove your shoes before you climb on the structure. There are people, with whom you can keep your shoes for free. But they expect some tips naturally and Rs. 10 per pair is enough to make them happy. You can visit this place if you have time in hand during your Agra visit. The place does not possess glamour, size or historical Importance as compared to Taj or Agra Fort. But sheer beauty of fine intricate jali work on marble makes this place worth visit at least once.
