Barossa Valley Wine Tasting- Great Experience

Bayden was very knowledgeable, entertaining and personsble. He had a great sense of humour and talked to us in a professional, yet relaxed manner. He is an asset to your company. Good selection of independent, but not too commercial wineries. The Rosenvale is worthy of a special mention because of the wine taster leaders' attention and knowledge.

This Barossa tour is worth it !

Informative tour with Baden our top tour guide. We had lots of fun, nice wine and have a nice memory of the Barossa. Would recommend the tour to our friends and family. Rosenvale vineyard was a highlight. We now know a lot more about the wine industry. Cheers 🥂

Fun in wine country!

This was an amazing tour! Very informative. Loved the extra stops at the dam and the town. The driver gave an excellent, informative and fun tour/talk of all sites. The wine tastings were extremely generous. We even had a case shipped home from Rosenvale. This was our 4th tour with Viator. They do not disappoint!

Barossa fun

Great guide with Brian. Good communicator telling us all the history and highlights of the Barossa. Vineyards were unique and great deals on wine and shipping. Each vineyard showed us something unique to them.

Satisfying experience

The tour experience was very good...the tour guide Brayden was very funny, disposable and attentive to leave and provide all the information and explanations about the history of Adelaide and South Australia and about the places we visited. I'd definitely recommend it.

Great experience with an amazing guide

In spite of being unlucky with the weather - was raining all day - the tour was magic! Our tour guide Baden was an excellent story teller and kept us entertained through the whole trip. I have learned so much not just about Barossa and wine, but also about Adelaide. First 2 wineries were nice, but not to my wine taste. But the last one was s small winery gem with an exceptional wine - so keep some space in your guts for the end of the trip🙂

Outstanding day in the Barossa

JR was a phenomenal guide. He was very funny and personal to every single person on tour. He is a wealth of knowledge of the Barossa valley. We learnt so much! All the wineries were great along with their staff. Would go again in a heartbeat! 10/10.

An absolute must!

First time visiting Adelaide and with so many famous wine regions this was an absolute must! I wasn’t disappointed. Had a fantastic day, hosted by JR who was knowledgeable, funny and just a top bloke. The wineries we went to were varied and all very enjoyable. Can’t recommend this enough, especially as a Solo traveller the group is a nice enough size to not feel left out. Had a blast.

A Day in the Barossa🍷.

We had a Fantastic day on this tour with Taste of the Barossa just last week. 3 wineries,a lovely lunch,an Interesting bus trip with our driver JR who was knowledgeable about all things Adelaide which was great as it was our first time to SA.. And with the right amount of humour to make us smile & laugh out loud .. Rosenvale winery was definitely the highlight of the day and my wines that we ordered arrived safe & sound to the Gold Coast yesterday. It was a Great tour and highly recommend.. Great wine

A good rebound after a disappointing tour with the same company 2 days earlier (McClaren Vale Half Day). The hosts at each of the 3 wine tastings were friendly - special shout out to Elle at Saltram who is as good as they come. The wines we’re also all much better, especially at Rosenvale. Why 4 instead of 5? I have no idea what Mengler Hill is but we didn’t stop there. I don’t particularly care but this is the 2nd tour I’ve done with this group and the 2nd time they didn’t make (or even acknowledge) all of the stops listed on their itinerary. If it’s nothing to see, cut it; if the tours tend to run long, don’t list it and let drivers make a call about whether or not to stop based on how the day is playing; but don’t list stops and skip them, which is apparently this outfit’s MO.

The whole day was absolutely wonderful. Beautiful group of people. JR was a fabulous guide, so informative, great sense of humor, made everyone feel special. Owners Dallas and Vicki ensured we were superbly looked after. Huge thanks to them all. Highly recommend this tour group. Great fun, great laughs, great memories made. 😊

Great experience

Very knowledgable tour guide which made the experience very interesting and memorable. Wineries were incredible, a lot of history and everyone we dealt with were all very insightful. The lunch wasn't very fulfilling after all the wine we'd been drinking but apart from that, we couldn't fault the day!

Baden was a fantastic tour guide. He friendly and fun, and was very knowledgeable about Adelaide generally but also wine and wine production. We stopped at 3 wineries in our tour, all of them very welcoming and generous with their tastings. It was a lovely day out. Highly recommended.

Superb tour guide, wineries, experience.

Baden was spectacular, funny, informative & great company. The whole day was perfect, the whispering wall was an experience I wasn’t expecting (but a good one!) & the wineries were brilliant. Rosenvale especially was a real highlight. Superb day, just the right pace, great group & learned a lot more about the history of Adelaide thanks to Baden. Highlight of my trip.

Excellent and great value for money.

Excellent trip. The tour bus driver Bruce was very knowledgeable about not just all things wine but local info. All the wineries we visited were great, the hosts' passion for the wine industry certainly shined. It was great to have had the wine tastings and lunch included which took out the guess work. Loved the charcuterie board for lunch, perfect size to soak up all that wine. Highly recommend this all in one tour package.

Had a fantastic day on the tour. Russell was very knowledgeable and full of information. Visited three wineries and enjoyed a lovely lunch at one. A great time was had by all.

1 day Barossa wine Tour

Prompt pickup from our hotel in a small bus which was expected. Greaterd by Jason our host who was great through the whole day. A few other pickups and we were off. Three vineyards and tastings, fresh deli platter for lunch at the second. Platters were shared in the personal group you booked. Bought wine that was mostly Cellar door. Left at 9am back at 5 30pm. Excellent day, would recommend and would do again. Thanks Jason!

Excellent 1 day tour Barossa Valley wine tasting

Excellent day, quick pickup from our hotel here, visited three vineyards, fresh platter for lunch shared with the personal group you were booked with at one table. Small bus and Jason our driver was great. Would highly recommend!

Fantastic day! Russel was a great tour guide sharing so much interesting information about Adelaide and the Barossa Valley on our way to the wineries. The Whispering Wall was a fabulous surprise! The winery experiences were all great and our lunch was off the charts. Beautiful experience for wine lovers like ourselves. Highly recommend this tour!

An Adelaide Gem

Booked this tour via Viator to spend a day exploring the Barossa Valley with some friends whilst on a visit to Adelaide. Baden our tour guide was phenomenal. His knowledge of the Barossa, Adelaide and Southern Australia was outstanding and he was only too happy to share this with our tour. I learned lots and enjoyed his commentary and interaction with our group. The three wineries were super, a particular favourite was Rosenvale. Would definitely recommend this experience to anyone looking to explore the Barossa Valley.

Sensational experience.

During the Anzac day week I travelled to Adelaide for a reunion with a group of Vietnam Veterans and their partners. We were fortinuate to get accomodation as the LIV Golf was in town but we managed to get accomodation at Glenelg. I had contacted Dallas from Taste the Barossa and booked two tours the first on the 26th of April where we were picked up from our motel and taken to the Barossa. From the moment we borded our bus our tour guide come driver "Thomas", Never stoped informing us of his beautiful city's highlites. I must add here that Dallad had to hire a larger vehicle than he usually uses to accomadate the size of our group at no extra cost .We stoped at three wineries, Rosenvale/ Wolf Blas and Lambert estate all of which were extremely imformative and benifited financialy from our visit. The next day was a half day tour of the Adelaide hills and Harndorf. Again very pleasent and extremely informative. I would like to thank Dallas and Thomas for adding to the success of our visit. Barossa Wine and Food Heaven

Salter’s Kitchen at Saltram winery served up a delicious lunch after an enjoyable wine tasting adventure. Then we were greeted at the gates of Rosenvale Vineyards with a glass of sparkling before hearing about the vines they call the Old Ladies at the front of their very expansive vineyard. The wines we tasted were amazing and they were so passionate about the process that goes into making wine, it seemed shameful to waste a drop. An amazing experience thanks to our awesome tour guide Russell.

Autumn Break

Well organised right from pick-up thru to drop-off. Good friendly group and good selection of wineries visited. Brian was a great host along with his knowledge and sense of humour. Highly recommend this tour.

Relaxing wine tasting tour

Our tour guide JR is good and made us feel relax. Learnt more about wine making and enjoyed the cold-platter lunch at Saltram. Overall, it is a good tour and good value as all wine tasting is included in the tour. Whispering wall is good to experience too.

Just a great experience overall

The tour had a good itinerary and good choices of wineries. The wineries were beautiful, and the wine was really good. The stops along the way were interesting and added a charm to the tour. The tour guide, Brian, was funny and very friendly, he went above and beyond to make the experience great. The bus was comfortable too, which is useful when a good chunk of the day is spent on the bus. I definitely recommend it.

Fantastic tour! We had such a great time, Long enough in each place to really enjoy the wine, great lunch and some really fantastic wines, definitely worth it! Taste the Barossa tour w/ Jason

Truly fantastic tour, couldn’t recommend this highly enough. Our tour guide Jason was fun, friendly and full of knowledge. The vineyards and wineries available were all incredible and varied in their experiences, with (the exclusive to Taste the Barossa) Rosenvale being our personal favourite, as were the additional sightseeing parts of the tour. Left with an amazing experience, and some very nice, exclusive wines both in us and in our hands!

A highlight of visiting Adelaide region

Bryan,our driver, was knowledgeable and entertaining and filled us in on a variety of topics ,from local history, flora and fauna, etc. The first winery visited,the family run one,was our favorite. The winery's guide did an excellent job and we enjoyed our tastings and learned alot about the terroir, grape varieties, how the grapes were harvested and prepared for the wine etc. The other two wineries were OK.. but not as much detail provided by the wineries' hosts . The lunch was okay..maybe a little skimpy as many of us were very hungry. The planned stop for a coffee break was way too rushed . We were late arriving due to a mixup about picking up a couple in Adelaide. When we arrived in the little village for our break, we only had enough time to walk the 3 or so blocks from one end of the village to where the bus was waiting. No time to get a snack. As mentioned,we would have liked a bit more to eat at lunch..another piece of cheese, some bread etc. Our fellow participants were a friendly,jolly lot and we enjoyed socializing and sharing our adventures together. A highlight of our visit to Adelaide.

I would definitely recommend this tour to family and friends. I would encourage the guide to inform the visitors though that at the final vineyard there isn’t any sweet desert style wines available, so that they can buy more at stops 1 and 2. I absolutely loved the first winery stop, there was such a great range of wines for all wine lovers to fine a bottle and hey enjoyed.
