Nice experience for the buck!

Our guide was friendly and drove us to the desert. We sandboarded, ate a nice buffet, got on a camels (for 2 minutes only, don't expect anything more) and saw belly dancing and falcons. The camp is nice. I would recommend!

Desert safari

This is the place to absolutely visit for a desert excursion! They are very welcoming. The guide is very nice. Even young children are fans (5 and 3 years old) they love to play and surf on the sand and ride a camel... For sure, we'll come back inshAllah . Thanks again, it was great trip!

An amazing adventure

We had an amazing day with our really friendly and obliging guide Noushad. We were driven very safely by him and also the pick up and the way back to the Hotel were way uncomplicated! We‘ll come back!

Evening Desert Safari tour

I have just returned from an evening desert safari tour and am absolutely buzzing after the most amazing experience. Faisal Marly was our driver who was so professional, friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. My friend was nervous but he made her feel at ease, he explained every step of the trip to us and kindly offered to help us with photos and nothing was too much trouble. I cannot believe how brilliant it all was and have never laughed so much.

Excellent experience, car was very beautiful and comfortable. The driver Ameer, besides being an excellent driver, was really very kind and attentive to our needs. The places visited were very suggestive. Tour recommended

A fantastic ride with Sharafudheen

Had a wonderful trip with Sharf (Sharafudheen). He picked us from a alternate location other than we booked, flexible on time when we did some last minute shopping before trip. He had very good knowledge of both abudhabi and dubai, drove responsibly and explained all our questions. he even volunteered to take pour pictures. In all, a very pleasant experience and would recommend sharaf for the trip.

Abu Dhabi desert safari

We made the trip to Abu Dhabi to visit the Louvre, which we did... but also embarked on the dune safari. A very pleasant afternoon/evening, great driver (Faysal Marly) whose skills were shown on the dunes! He also paid attention to each of us so that we would have our fair share of experiences: camel riding, hanna painting, quad driving, sand boarding, and posing with the falcon. The food at dinner was good, and both the female and male dancers were impressive.

Very disappointed

After careful research in wanting to do a desert safari in Abu Dhabi and reading the reviews we decided to go ahead and book. Our driver was 40 minutes late in picking us up. When he arrived he couldn’t speak any English at all. The car was dirty with rubbish in it. He drove Abu Dhabi to the sand dunes with no communication at all. He proceeded to play his music very loud. When we arrived there were other groups with their guides who were taking photos and talking and laughing. Our guide said again nothing and sat in the car! The camp itself was really good with henna tattoos, camel riding, belly dancing which was very entertaining. The bbq food was plentiful and delicious. It’s just such a pity that we ended up with a driver who didn’t show any enthusiasm and care especially after reading all of the positive reviews.

Not bad, but also not amazing... you get what you pay for.

I'll start by saying that Abu Dhabi and the UAE in general is an expensive place, so for around $70 bucks you get a 6 hour tour that includes Dune Bashing (about 15 minutes), Quad Biking (3 short laps where your limited to following the guy), Food (buffet style - it was decent enough but nothing extraordinary), henna, sand boarding, arab attire, photos with a falcon and a depressing visit to a Camel farm. That is good value for money dont get me wrong!!!... I'd say it's great if you're looking for a day out with the kids. But the whole thing felt very mass produced and not really the authentic experience that I was looking for, if you're after that extra special day that really stands out then pay the extra $$ and book something more personalized. I also paid $5 for a small Budweiser can, not my proudest moment.

Fun desert day

Great tour and wonderful guide Khalid. The jeep was very comfy, the drive through the dunes was great fun. Camels, birds, dune surfing, fires, dress up, henna, dancing and food all provided as described in the brochure. Great music and atmosphere and the dancing was particularly good. One tip is to ensure you provide a phone number for the driver to contact you re pick up as the driver did arrive early.

I had great time with my siblings, everything available for entertain the kids,especially the bike and ride the camile.The weather is cold little bit, but the fire torch it's help to set around.

Awesome experience and a very friendly and courteous staff members, specially Faisal Marly, our driver. Out of all the drivers I rode with, Faisal by far is the best.

Excellent Experience

Excellent desert safari. It’s great value for money and you get to try a little of everything in the evening. We thoroughly enjoyed the camel ride, dine bashing, hawk holding, quad biking and henna tattoos. You could also do sand boarding and the sunset over the camp was epic! They provide free soft drinks and also have alcohol available to purchase. The camp is beautifully laid out and the buffet was very good. Our guide was brilliant and could not fault him. I don’t typically give 5 stars for anything less than perfect but this tour came close. Only very minor complaints would be a bit of a wait between the sun setting and dinner and being a little cramped in the car as it was full. But these were not major issues in the slightest. Would highly recommend

Great value, full diverse package, nice driver (Faisal Marly)

Pickup & drop-off from Al Raha Beach in a Toyota Land Cruiser, about 45 minute drive towards Al Ain. Cars then gather up while they deflate the tires for better traction. A fantastic dune bashing ride after that. Hold on, get you camera ready on video. This is just super impressive and super cool. Our driver, Faisal Marly, has been doing it for 8 years and makes it look effortless...I saw some dune driving lessons offered on the net and may try this next... Plenty of opportunities for pictures at the pause or the camel farm visit before arriving to camp. Camp can host a few hundred people and was maybe half full on Dec 30 so never felt crowded. Tea, coffee, Arabic coffee (qahwah) and soft drinks included. Alcoholic beverages for purchase. Climb the dunes, try sand boarding, Cath the sunset. Depending on what package you booked you have quad ride (3 laps of the circuit) and/or camel ride (very small lap). Henna, traditional dress up and pictures, including with a live falcon offered. Two dance shows presented. Buffet dinner with Indian and middle eastern food. Shisha (narghile smoking) offered. Little souvenir store and your personal quad/camel picture for sale @40AED each. Toilets are quite decent. The staff is very friendly (starting with our driver Faisal) and helpful and the whole thing very well organized. Amazing value for the money at ~70USD per person for a 4.5 hour tour + 1.5 hour car transfer.

Awesome experience with nice Arabian food

From pick up, to Dune bashing, shows and lovely Arabian BBQ dinner, everything was organized perfectly. Although I had high expectations, they’ve been exceeded by far.

Nice trip. Good value. Driver Nazar was helpful, professional and polite. Food was good. There could be a few more sandboards at the site. The dance, performances were just right, not too long..

Fabulous family adventure

We have done desert safari before with Off Road but we had our family staying with us over Christmas and decided to treat them to dune bashing experience.Our driver this time was Mr.Faisal Marly and he was absolutely brilliant .Calm, polite , professional ....My little nephew was very nervous during the dune bashing and eventually started vomiting all over the car....we then realised we lost one of our phones while we were dealing with my nephew and trying to clean him up...through all of this .Faisal was kind, patient, understanding... Our guests had a truly unforgettable desert adventure and massively enjoyed not just dune bashing but desert camp and dinner and entertainment ....and said this tour was highlight of their visit to Abu Dhabi.

Amazing experience!

Did the desert safari on the first day of my long travel around the world. It was an amazing day and thus awesome start of my travel. You get a lot of value for money, there were so many things / possibilities like dune bashing, sand duning, going to a camel farm, belly dancing, stargazing... Rafi made a great effort for making our day amazing & thank you a lot for that!

We've had a great experience in the desert with our driver Ameer, who has a very good skills to drive among the dunes. After that, the camel's farm, the dinner, the dancing, smoking with the shisha... A great experience to repeat! Sure!

Desert Safari “ off road adventures “

Very happy with our recent desert safari evening with “ off-road adventures”. It was a smooth process of organising the trip at the very last minute. The highlight was the exceptionally helpful and pleasant behaviour of the driver Sharaf Ud Din, who promptly picked us up from the hotel in Dubai and transported us comfortably and safely to Abu Dhabi and back. 5 stars for him in particular.

Can an SUV slide sideways down a sand dune?

What a ride! Saleem was the lead dune bashing driver and gave us a thrilling ride up and down the dunes! An amazing night with petting and riding camels, dressing in Emerati clothing, interacting with falcons, henna hand painting, dinner, Tanoura and belly dancing. Well done, Off Road Adventure Tours!

Super cool desert tour!

We booked that tour from our hotel and it was wonderful! Super exciting and we did so many things for a good price - the car tour through the desert, getting a henna tattoo, drinking Arabic coffee and tea, watching belly dance, surfing on sand ,... so thanks again for a wonderful day!!!

Amazing experience | off-road desert safari

Since I have been to one dessert safari a couple of years ago in dubai I was not much excited about this one. The Offroad has made it a totally different experience . I would recommend to book off-road when you are in Abu dhabi for a desert safari. From dune bashing to visiting camel farms and to barbeque dinner, it was a great experience. Abdul was our safari tour guide and he treated us like a friend.

Everything was perfectly organized, staff was very courteous and helpful. I would like to especially call out Ameer for his professional behaviour.
